He takes his job very…read moreseriously, understanding all of the codes and legality of what a home must abide by, ensuring the inspection covers it all. Sam went out of his way to explain the nuances of the different parts of the property, such as how the utilities work and what expectations he has for a properly built roof. He said he'd get our inspection report to us on a specific day and ensured we had it in our hands as he promised. I feel like I stepped away from that inspection as a smarter homeowner. You will get your money's worth with Aardvark.

We show up to the house to do the inspection and Sam learns that the owner who is selling the building is a past customer or Sam rented a garage or something from him in the past. Sam right away says there is conflict and HE CAN NOT DO THE INSPECTION. I explained to Sam, that just because he has a conflict with this owner a long time ago, this has NOTHING TO DO WITH ME, the money I am paying him. Sam said in a very unprofessional and nasty way, he is NOT doing the inspection. I explained to him that we had to set up for all the tenants to be there ( 10 people ) and some of them did not work today for the inspection. Sam said he does not care!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sam had zero reason not to do the inspection and he screwed over me and the tenants. I may even lose the deal now, because of Sam. Please beware and don't use this company.

After hearing that our friend had a great experience, we decided to work with Eagle Inspections…read moreourselves for our first-time homebuying process. We had the opportunity to work with Chris in our property. The entire process was seamless, from booking an appointment, the invoice, and the day-of procedure. Chris arrived early to capture the exterior documentation (i.e., front/back entrances, roof, facade) and greeted my partner and I with warmth and good humor. We examined each part of our future home, and Chris was very helpful with answering our questions and sharing context when weren't familiar with certain issues. It's clear he was knowledgeable and reassured us that we would be in good hands on closing day. After the inspection, you receive an in-depth report with assessments on the areas of improvement, concerns, and general status reports. I think he did a great job "looking for trouble," keeping us notified of how to be proactive should any maintenance is needed. Eagle Inspections was great to work with, and should definitely be considered in any home-buying process.

I recently had two disappointing experiences with my "first time home buying" inspection service…read more The first inspection for the new home indicated everything was fine, but after taking my contractor he discovered serious electrical and roofing issues, leading to my cancellation and a loss of $1,000. I gave the company another chance for my next inspection, where a different technician completed the job in under half an hour, assuring me everything was okay. However, after moving in, I found that the water line is missing its metal lid, the HVAC system was missing a pump that caused a flood in my basement and I had to hire a plumber for drainage issues. After spending $2,300 total with "Eagle Inspection", I realized I should have invested in inspection training instead. When I contacted the company about my concerns, I was promised a callback but never received one. I wouldn't recommend this company unless you already have inspection knowledge.
