I'm very surprised by some of the less than favorable reviews. Experience was very positive with Eagle inspections for purposes of purchasing an investment property. Evan was very thorough and provided much attention to detail. He provided a very thorough report and pictures to include his findings and the turnaround of the report was almost immediate. The home inspection, Lead and radon provided a great outline for what I was walking into with this property and how major or minor the corrections would be. My only feedback that I don't want to take away from the rating of what a great job he did is I received an unsolicited sales email from an alarm company. It wS included in the contract that my information will be shared, unless told otherwise. I understand trying to help others out with referrals, but the unsolicited email would deter me from doing business with other companies and their sales approach was a turn off. This is more note of reference to either advise to have your information not shared ahead of time or allow them. read more

Getting a home inspection for a property I was interested in buying was the best decision to go with Eagle inspections . They were very accommodating and willing to answer any questions from the time the person answered the phone in the office to scheduling the a Inspection appointment all the way to the inspector And the actual initial inspection the inspector was very thorough. And knowledgeable.. ALWAYS get an inspection before you buy a property. Please do yourself a favor. You owe it to yourself to protect yourself thank God I did pay for the inspection that was nonrefundable during the home buying process if it wasn't for the Eagle inspector doing an in depth inspection and even going up on the roof, not just using drones I wouldn't have found out a major issue because I was told that the buyer had documentation and the roof was brand new & replaced in 2025 then they (per the listing agent and the seller )changed the initial 2025 that the roof the roof )was brand that that was changed to new in 2024 ;either way the roof is at least 20 years old. It is not a new roof so thank you thank you thank you to the inspector amongst other things that I found out . Many other things with the property that was not disclosed to myself were found per the inspector diligent work ethic . The inspector ,Chris was very professional and detail oriented not to mention patient and was with answering any questions that I had which were many .Coming to find out a lot of issues that arose with the property that I was unaware of. So please always get an inspection and go with Eagle inspections. They are great and even as a complementary service they are going help set up all your utilities when you buy your property. Awesome feature and no charge for that. The process of home buying is frustrating even terrifying that's why you need somebody like eagle inspection on your side I've been able to tackle the challenges. With the property and negotiate with the seller. I would've been totally blindsided so always get an inspection even if you get an inspection and decide that you do not want to negotiate with the seller I just flat out don't want the property. It's better to be informed and make that decision because this is a major lifetime, financialdecision buying a home or property. I think everyone at Eagle they've been so nice from answering the phone to follow up and even helping me transfer my utilities, not to mention last, but not least the actual inspection itself which saved me a lot of problems. I was able to negotiate with the seller and I am aware. I found several significant misses in the inspection report after I owned my house for several months, which will cost upwards of $20k to remediate. I reached out to Eagle Inspections, and they scheduled a re-inspection. Same inspector came out, who was nice, but said he noted the issues in his report, which he 100% did not. Inspector said his boss would reach out "soon" to discuss with me. It's been over a month and a half, I've called them 4 times, spoken with customer service, who said they'll have the manager call ASAP. Still haven't received any call back. Poor customer service, neglecting to take responsibility for a subpar inspection, won't call back unhappy customers. DO NOT RECOMMEND Eagle Inspections because they will miss something that will cost you $$$ and refuse to give you any compensation. Take your business elsewhere. read more

Ten thousand stars!!!!!!! We really wanted someone with experience in the contracting business to do our home inspection. Many people don't realize that you don't actually need any practical credentials at all to become a home inspector - beyond passing an exam. We called around to some businesses and asked what qualifications their inspectors need to have, and some simply said "they need to pass a test." That was an obvious RED FLAG! After speaking with Eric from Eagle Inspections, it was obvious that they had to be our choice. He answered all of our questions and was able to send John Vellucci to do the inspection for us. John was SO NICE AND SOOOOOOOOO THOROUGH!!!!! My mom was there with me during the inspection and was so pissed that she didn't hire Eagle to do her home inspection when she needed it. She said that her home inspector was a major dud and didn't do half of what John did. John took photos of everything, clearly communicated all of the issues, and managed to keep things light even when delivering bad news. I also loved the communication from Eagle before, during, and after the inspection. Before the inspection they sent me an email with all of the rate quotes, along with a link to pay online and consent to everything online. The report was also sent via email, extremely promptly, and was very easy to read and incredibly thorough. The post-inspection communications they've sent have also been nice. I will be recommending Eagle to everyone I know, and giving everyone the hard sell to hire John. It was 100% apparent that he knew exactly what he was talking about. I also plan to hire him to do a follow-up check of all the repairs that the seller will be making to the house. Their costs are reasonable, especially for some peace of mind! read more

Eric at Eagle Inspections was a super valuable resource. As a first time home buyer I wasn't sure what to expect with my inspection. Eric walked me through each room and helped me search for what to look for with each appliance/area. They are not a real home inspectors at all!! Be aware what they are doing is absolutely unacceptable and should be reported to the board commission. I just want to bring to your attention that they are not only unprofessional, but they will leave a complete mess inside your property after the leaf. First of all, the person who did the home inspection at my property is not a real home inspector, it's just a building consultant with a lack of experience and a license. He never go up on the roof l, the numbers for the repairs that he provide in the report is absolutely unbelievable and doesn't have any connection with the real price range in the city. This building consultant with a less than a year of experience, leave my sump pump open, so my 15 years old cat , who is struggling with the cancer right now, could easily drown in there!!! He set my central air on 87F° when it was 100F° outside with my two Siberian Huskies inside the house!!! He turned off the power for my bathroom fan and then claimed that is broken. He did claim that I have a roof issue and it should be a replaced. The replacement will cost the buyer from $10,000 - $15,000 for a 5 x 5 feet long flat rubber roof(!) with a two ponding on it just right after rain stops. He pointed a brick discolouration on 105 years old property as a serious issue that needs an ASAP repairs! The crawl space hatch was pointed as a loose and damaged floor. He couldn't identify the Furnace age and size properly and added a couple years on it. He didn't test the whirlpool and pointed open overflow, it was open for the inspection purposes, as an issue. He did a moisture meter test on a fresh chimney mortar and claimed it as a roof leak! The best part of it is that the radon test was put one the front of an open window about a feet away, and the termite report was signed by the owner of the company who never step inside the property at all! So it doesn't matter who you are , a buyer, a real estate agent, or a homeowner just don't spend your time and money for that kind off unprofessional inspection. read more

"THUMBS DOWN" DO NOT use this company. Take your business elsewhere. Eric(Owner) did a home inspection for me and failed to inspect the plumbing properly which is now costing me thousands to fix. When I contacted Eric(owner), he stated it was not his job to check the plumbing. They just look around. Basically, they say their job is just to tell me the house still stands. Would not offer any solution but a letter from a lawyer saying they are not responsible. Would not provide proof of insurance to file a claim. This company company is useless. On the day of the visit, the representative came earlier than expected and started inspecting my roof without me being present. Not a good business practice in my opinion. The main reason for the inspection was to know the condition of my roof. Although the rep claimed he got up on a ladder and looked doesn't make sense because had he gone up on the roof, he would of noticed there is a smaller back roof behind my home. He literally went through my second floor window to inspect that roof. I have an inkling that he used a drone system to "so call" inspect my top roof. And when we went through my home for further inspection, it was kinda half fast. There goes almost $400 down the drain. And when I called the company back with my concern, all they said was the rep did his job and they did not try to remedy my concern. UPDATE 12/2017: John Velluci from Eagle Inspections is a liar. When he failed to show up with a ladder on the day on inspection, I insisted that he come back and check the roof to confirm that it was in fact BRAND NEW as advertised by the seller. Last week, I finally climbed up there myself after noticing some water infiltration. The roof is clearly NOT brand new. Here are photos of the roof as of 12/2017. THE HOME INSPECTOR CUT A HOLE IN MY SEWER PIPE WITHOUT MY CONSENT. Yes, inside MY home that I have listed for sale. I'm guessing he did this to drum up panic and business for their drain company to come and do an extensive repair. No matter what the reason, there was absolutely NO reason (nor permission) to do this. I had a completely intact ground pipe and now I have a 4 inch hole with a metal band-aid over it.  I won't bother with any of the other shortcomings of the inspection because if you read this and still use this company, that is on you. read more

We were in the process of buying our first home and after reading the reviews, eagle inspections looked promising. Scheduling was easy. On the day of inspection, I had only arrived ten minutes after appointment and the inspector had apparently done a good portion of the inspection already... which made me question how thorough he really looked. He looked in small areas here and there around the deck and basement, made a few comments and inspection was over in 45 minutes with the expectation it would be 2 hours and I was concerned. I voiced it to them and they assured me, it's perfectly normal to be done in such a short time. I let it go as I wanted to see the actual inspection report. Unfortunately when we saw the report sent to us, the realtor and us were quite disappointed with the lack of information/detail it provided. Estimates were totally off. At the end of the day, we were unable to use much of the inspection report as leverage as it didn't provide all the details we needed to negotiate and quite disappointing as we couldn't come to agreement to close the house. read more

Well the furnace is fried all the duct work is wrong and what he claimed was a regulator for the shower a simple fix was the entire shower plumbing.
