I ordered 3 chocolate churros and a chocolate blended drink (no caffeine). I think we waited about 10 minutes or so but the churros came out fresh and hot. I think the chocolate used is Hershey's syrup (I could be wrong), but it tasted very familiar. The drink was not very sweet and creamy. I finished the rest of the churros that night. Their restroom was very clean.

It is conveniently located up the street from the Cruise ports to the left side. The only draw back was I wanted my drink cold, they made it hot, and it came out to $13 (for two churros and two small coffees). I gave a $20 and they said they didn't have dollars for change. I even tried to ask if they can throw in another filled churro and they said they can't do it. They do accept Apple Pay and credit cards but it's been a year since I came here, not sure if I did that last time. I already was holding up the line so I just said I would take pesos for change. Next time I am here, I will bring smaller bills as they don't have change. Otherwise, the Chocolate Mexican coffee was delicious and the churro was also, lots of seating, and one of the spots to visit!

Honorary 6 Stars In…read moreEnsenada, our absolute favorite thing to do is eat fresh churros. It was raining on our port day, but we still ventured out to feed our churro craving. Luckily, Churros El Tio Gelos was in the first grouping of booths that you get to walking from the cruise ships. My daughter said "That's the one from last time! I remember because of the Minions". Try to remember your pesos since they charge a premium if you only have dollars. When we got there, they had a stack of churros ready to go in a fry basket. We waited a few minutes for them to sell through those. Once they started a new batch, we asked if we could have the fresh ones. One of the workers extrudes the churro batter directly into the oil, flips it once, and pulls it magical coils once they turn golden brown. Then the coil is broken down into sticks, coated in sugar and cinnamon, and into a paper bag or styrofoam box. I'd have them put it directly into my mouth if it was allowed. If you've ever gone to a theme park and thought the churros were pretty good, these churros will blow your mind. They're crispy on the outside, a little chewy on the inside, and just the right amount of sugar, cinnamon, and oil. It just lights up every sensor in the primitive parts of our brains. One of the only foods we don't have a good picture of since we eat them immediately. Easily one of the best bites I've ever had.

Tucked into the Bruma wine resort, this place lives up to every bit of its acclaim. YOU CAN BELIEVE THE HYPE. ILL ALLOW IT THIS ONE TIME CABRONES It's tucked right into the wine resort in Valle de Guadalupe, and from the moment you arrive, you can tell this isn't your typical dinner spot. One thing worth mentioning: the seating is communal, dining hall-style, so you'll likely be sharing a table with strangers. I know that's not for everyone, but honestly, it added to the charm for me. There's a relaxed, social energy to the whole place that fits the vibe of the valley. While you wait for your table, there's a beautiful little garden to wander through, plus no shortage of picture-perfect spots around the property. The views out over the winery and valley are genuinely breathtaking -- worth showing up early just to soak it in. Food-wise, I've done both the tasting menu and à la carte on separate visits, and both were exquisite. If I'm being honest, the tasting menu edges out slightly -- it's a full journey through what the kitchen does best, and every course felt thoughtful and precise. À la carte is a great option too if you want more control over your meal, but for a first visit, go with the tasting menu. Negatives: Other than this one server being a bit of a pinche mamon I don't have anything foul to say about this establishment. I also won't mention their name because I'm not a culero (something that individual should adopt himself, ubícate wey) makes no sense to not be welcoming and / or professional at an establishment like this. Not a good look dude. Anyways, Grab a glass of local wine or equally magnificent local cerveza, enjoy the scenery, and settle in: this is one of the best meals you'll have in not just Baja but literally in all of Latin America.

Some included: molleja with kale, octopus, oysters, wagyu sopes, and some drinks. The drinks were also great from the espresso martini and guava margarita. Chef kiss honestly! The ambiance is also great but remember reservations are a must!! Service was exceptional, I literally dropped some amount of sauce on my plate mat and they were cleaning it up within minutes. Food is quick to come out, like they knew what we were going to order. Highly recommend this!!

This is the 3rd time we've gotten to eat here. We tend to get something different every time, and this time we got the churro nachos with condensed milk and caramel + vanilla ice cream. I'm going to quote my husband: "I didn't think churros could get better, but they did". If the crispy outer part of a churo is your favorite part, these are for you! I also love how customizable you get to make your churros. You basically get to add as many drizzles as you want and they have quite the selection! I'm not sure what it's like in other locations, but when they're at Duke's Burgers you're able to sit and eat at the nice tables outside. Plus there's always a ton of parking, as the lot has a bunch of other businesses there. If you have a chance, try it out! Personally, I can't wait to try the Bomba next time.

Suddenly I "need" to run an errand at CVS just so I can grab some churros -- because honestly, when do you ever get the chance to have warm, fresh, crispy, homemade churros? These are the best churros I've ever had. It's surprisingly hard to find good churros out in the world. Before discovering Churro Addict, I was settling for Taco Bell's cinnamon twists or the occasional cold, sad amusement‑park churro. Now I can finally have a good churro whenever they're in the neighborhood. They offer different sizes and toppings, and my go‑to is the churros sucios with Nutella. Fresh out of the fryer, perfectly crispy, and ridiculously good. The owners are always friendly, the music is on point, and the churros never miss. Last time we went, my pup Enzo even got his sweet‑tooth fix with a pup cup.
