I proceeded to pick up a lot of psyduck cards as he is my favorite Pokemon. I also grabbed a lot of cubone because I wanted to make a full page of him in my binder. I asked the store owner how much is each vintage card and he said I don't know. How about 25 cents each. I grabbed the rest of the cards I wanted it was 30 cards in total he then looked up every single card at the register and told me 20 dollars for the whole lot I was expecting 7 or 8 dollars. Overall a terrible and sketchy business strategy to tell someone a price only to change it at the register. I proceded to look up the card online myself and most of them are going for less than 25 cents each. I would not recommend going to this store at all.

I went to Worcester Wares to order some custom shirts for my small business. I paid the full price up front (mistake on my part) and patiently waited for the project to progress. I promptly sent in all of the graphics needed to make the various shirts I had ordered. Months into the project I was informed the the owner was dealing with some personal matters, which I was understanding and patient about. She did deliver some of the products I had ordered, and indicated that she was working on the remaining products. Some of the shirts had a defect, which she said she would rectify. The hoodies that I ordered were supposed to feature a large logo on they back, which the ones she delivered did not. After that visit, it was radio silence. I sent several emails and messages inquiring about timeframe for delivering the remaining items, but did not get any response from her, or from anyone at Worcester Wares. I began this process in early December 2025, and paid for my items in full at our initial meeting. It is now May the following year, and I have not hard anything from the owner since February when she dropped off a few of the items I had ordered, despite several emails and phone calls. Unfortunately I would not recommend Worcester Wares to another business. I am now out several hundred dollars and have only a small handful of the shirts that I ordered, some of which were not made as ordered. Very disappointing.

Each time we were given a date for review of the artwork, or to see a mock-up, we NEVER heard from her. Texts, calls and emails went unanswered for weeks and weeks. We went back to the store several times and were only given excuses. This was a special project that we were excited about and it never happened. Interestingly, she told us that "small businesses value every nickel" spent, and then, nothing!

The staff is enthusiastic and fun to play with haha. I spent almost an hour playing a number of games with them and bought 1 game and 2 toys (going back for another game next week - I need to pace myself!) Will come in handy during the holidays (they have a wide price range from $10 to over $200). They just opened yesterday - my only complaint is that I wish they'd been open before the hurricane left us with an 8 hour power outage.

They support local authors and even from time to time musicians. I have performed here a couple of times and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and professional. There at also the stores that are so packed and disorganized that you couldn't find something to get a deal on if you wanted to. Rubber Chicken Comics perfectly straddles the middle ground of those 2 examples. There are loads of boxes with .50 cent comics, $1.00 comics & $5 comics that are regularly refilled and always have people digging through them. They also have an amazing selection of gently used $5 graphic novels. Besides the boxes that all deserve time to dig though they have a clearly marked and organized section of new weekly comics, a wall of recent back issues for on going series and organized bins of older back issues. Somehow this shop also gets the best "wall books" in the area! From huge key books to rare variants, complete sets to signed books, original art sketch covers to golden age back issues. The wall is ever changing with assorted rarities at amazing prices. In addition to the comics they also have action figures (new and old), statues, vintage toys and games and other assorted collectibles. They offer weekly subscription pull list service and allow you to change on a monthly basis and give a 10-20-% discount based on the number of books on your pull list. They have bags, boards, boxes and other supplies as well. I can't recommend this shop enough there is always a great conversation or debate going on and everyone is welcome from the most seasoned collector to the newest comic fan. He clearly has a passion for what he does. The store itself is awesome - bins of Legos to play with, a section to put together your own mini figure, tons of Lego set options, and a lot of prebuilt Lego sets my sons ohh and ahh over.
