Website claims they buy back legos. Owner picky and doesn't buy back as stated on website.

Title: Horrible Customer Service - Rude, Disrespectful, and Misleading…read more I had an absolutely terrible experience at this store, and I would not recommend it to anyone. First of all, when I walked in, I wasn't greeted at all. The employee was busy on her phone, which felt very unprofessional. To make matters worse, she implied that I was being deceptive about whether or not the toy had been opened, even though I had the receipt and there was no damage or visible signs of wear on the toy. She made me feel like I was lying about the condition of the item, which was completely uncalled for. The stores return policy states that the item must be in "original packaging and re-sellable condition within 30 days of purchase". Although, the toy met those conditions and I had the receipt , she still refused the return suggesting that it was not in re-sellable condition. She also accused me, more than once, of buying the item at a different store (even though the receipt had that store and location on it) I was absolutely flabbergasted by how I was treated. The way the clerk spoke to me was beyond disrespectful and unprofessional. It's a shame because it is a nice establishment, but after this experience, I will never be going back. Stay away unless you want to deal with rude employees and a poor management!

This store is amazing and I feel so grateful to have it right down the street in my town. My…read moredaughter wanted to get her friend a gift that I was having trouble finding online. I sent the store a message on Facebook very early in the morning - and to my surprise I got a message back within minutes, telling me they had the item and that they would put it aside for me until I could get there later in the week. That customer service is unheard of at other stores. I've communicated with this store for specific items that I was looking for and when COVID restrictions were in place, they delivered items to my house! This store really goes above and beyond for customer service. The free gift wrap, birthday boxes, and always having the latest in greatest in toys and educational items in a welcoming store, make this store a real gem!

"I've tried and tried to no avail You just can't seem to let…read moreme down You drive a hard bargain" (Emmylou Harris) We enjoy our bargain stores and are fans of Ocean State Job Lot, Big Lots and Ollies. Two days ago, we made our first visit to the Ollies on Grafton Street in Worcester. We picked up our "go to" Ollies staples -coffee K Cups (BTW, we do recycle them) and found some very good values on $4 or $5 for a box. Although we did get some good values, we thought the overall coffee inventory was lower than in other Ollies. We usually pick up some odds and ends in the food section and Ollies had a good selection of soups and salsas. One odd thing I saw was a trend of messiness in some of the store's sections. There were area rugs dumped all over the floor in one aisle. Now of course, I don't know how that happened, nor how long that mess was there, but I suspect a slovenly customer was looking at merchandise and couldn't have been bothered by picking up the mess they had carelessly created. But why on earth hadn't an employee noticed and remedied that mess? Another example of inattention was how the big cartons of K Cups were stacked; it looked as though their forklift or pallet jack operator had a few too many adult beverages before saying "that messy off-center precariously leaning stack is EXACTLY the way I wanted it too look". Overall, we had a typical Ollies experience, and that's a good one!

Actually some prices are not the cheapest but if you look, you can find some deals. From books, to garden care, to home ware, to some foods, even big appliances like air conditioners, school supplies, sports, toys, they might just have it. Not everything but you have to look. That's why you would come. To find a deal. It's not the best looking store or tidy, but that's the vibe here. Bargains, bargains, like at a warehouse. What's fun is actually to read the signs in the store. They are funny and very original. It's in a plaza with other stores, so there's plenty of parking. If in the area, I would check it out. But I wouldn't drive all the way just for a bargain. You could go to Big Lots, Ocean State Job Lot for similar items and in a nicer looking store. But you would miss out on the signs that advertise this store. That was the only thing I enjoyed.

I'm sorry, but this is another hobby place where everyone acts like they don't give a crap if you…read morewalk in or not. Tried to shop there on a few occasions (I'm a big hobby spender, young lady/atypical hobbyist, don't look like it but I know my stuff, deep in it and need singles), and you step in and everyone has just more important things to do than help you. Feels rude and unwelcoming. Drove 30 mins with my partner looking for singles, and their whole case was covered in boxes of other cards so you could see nothing. Possibly some sort of tournament happening in the seating area but the store was open, we had money, we wanted to buy. I attempted to move them so I could see and hopefully buy, and after I moved the last of like 5 cases so I could see (we've been at the store for like 15 mins) what I'd assume is an employee approached me. "You are going to break the glass, so I'LL MOVE THEM FOR YOU." And he finally removes the last box (had no idea that me gently stacking cardboard boxes would potentially damage plexiglass, but whatever, no one helped us for like 15 mins. Like what?). So I peaced without purchasing any of the things I noticed I wanted after I could see their inventory. Super rude and unhelpful, seriously cost you my business. My partner bought a few packs of a set we were having trouble getting, not out of patronage, but feeling like it was a wasted trip if not. We won't be coming back. Awful taste in our mouths, be welcoming if you're a hobby shop, or at least pretend helping us is important to your business. Urging fellow hobbyists to hit up That's E or the one in Shrewsbury on Boston Turnpike over this crap. There's a reason they still have the in-demand sets...
