This will be a short and sweet review. I had to have a pool table broken down at the last minute. I originally set up an appointment, but had to cancel for personal reasons. I didn't think I was going to be able to have it broken down that day. David was flexible and even took time when he was off work to reschedule with me that same night. When he came over to break down the table, he was professional and explained how it all worked. Even though I did have people helping me with the loading, he helped as well. My truck bed gate broke at the last minute and we had to lift everything over the side to get it into the bed. Thank you SO much David for everything last night! David refelted my pool table yesterday, and I couldn't be happier. He was very responsive when scheduling the initial appointment, and was very clear explaining the process and costs. David showed up promptly, and completed the job on time. We switched our felt from red to grey; and without asking, David provided us with new grey chalk, and he also took the time to clean the red off of our pool cue tips, and chalk them up thoroughly with the new grey chalk to ensure that none of the old red would ruin our new grey felt. I've only posted a couple of review on Yelp, but felt compelled to given David's high level of service (hard to find these days) and excellent work. highly recommend!! read more

I asked him if he could take pictures of the pool table I was considering buying, and he replies back ''I don't have time, if you don't believe what I'm saying, then maybe you shouldn't buy the table and lets forget doing business." He could have talked me into more since I had told him the old felt was no good, but he made a house call and to inspect the table, and was able to use the other side of the felt while putting my pool table back together after moving, saving me money. I own a small bar in San Pedro.We have an old tired pool table my local service guy told me that it could not be repaired because of it's age. I decided to call around and ask some other pool table guys. When I called DK they told me that they were familiar with the type of table and better yet familiar with the problems I was having and that it could be fixed. Dave at DK Billiards redefines customer service. He can definitely now count me as another loyal customer, and I will definitely be referring people to him whenever the subject comes up. I bought a used table online and was looking to get it moved to my house and set up. I went to Yelp and checked the reviews, finding DK to be very highly rated. So I called them to ask about prices and availability. The table was located outside of their normal service area so I was concerned about how to handle that. Dave said up front that the cost would be a bit more as it was located pretty far away. However, he said that breaking down this particular table was actually not difficult and that it would save me a bit of money to do it that way. So we followed this advice with on-call support from Dave and drove up to get the table. He gave me step by step instructions, knew every piece of hardware and size, and what tools would be required. As we were on our way back I called Dave to let him know we were headed back to the house in case there was availability to get it assembled. He worked out a setup crew to be at my house a couple of hours later. Incredible. The mechanic (Julio) came by and he and his team did a masterful job of leveling, assembling, and even providing some technical details about the table (glad I spent a little extra time doing my research and a little extra money on the table). They also fixed some issues that the previous installers had neglected to do such as not installing the center screws and positioning the slates improperly. Looking forward to paying them a visit in person and maybe picking up a cue or other accessory. DK installed our table last week. We bought a 7' for our room based on the sizing guides on the website. DK has moved and re-felted a few tables for our family but we never had a new table, only hand me downs that we had to move and fix up. Our table was expertly set-up, we bought one of the tables branded and spec'd for DK and are very pleased. You can trust these guys to do what they say they are going to do, and follow through on time. Pool is a fun way to bring people together, if you have a space.
