Horrible quality and very unresponsive. We made a purchase from this location for a huge new project in Corona. Purchased a pool table last summer It's not even a year old. The table is completely falling apart and chipping. We hardly have use to it since we are not even at full occupancy to have so much chipping and damage. I have tried to reach out to Alex multiple times to make contact and see if they can atleast make it right. All I have received is broken promises. I'm very dissapointed and want to let everyone aware. Save your money and time. We plan to overlook plenty of new projects and will never make a purchase here again. Alex and Jesse from Alex's Billiards really took care of me. I had an old pool table I thought about getting refurbished for a while. Finally I pulled the trigger and called to see what they could do for me. Alex spent a lot of time on the phone with me discussing what I wanted and how much I could get within my budget. When I came into the shop I was blown away. I got a grand tour of the building where Alex showed me each step of the building process. Everything they do is hand made. They offer a large array of custom work with both the table and the felt. I was shown a lot of different things including different stains, colors of felt, and pockets to truly customize the table to my liking. They were very prompt with both pick up and delivery. My 20 year old pool table looks brand new now and we are very pleased with it. For the price, quality, and customer service I received I won't be going anywhere else for service or future work. read more

This business is horrible! Out of the 20 some times I have called the 888 number listed on their site I have reached someone twice. Both times it was Alex somewhere other than the shop/store. He was suppose to return my call and never did so. On top of that you can not make a proper sellection on the website. To make madders worse, the payment system does not process. This is 2019. With 100's of web hosting options available their is no excuse for this. read more

Started out fine....they moved my pool table and recovered it with new felt. After they left, we found a few spots on the rails that had something under the new felt and one of the corner pockets was not seated against the rails. Called four times to try to get this resolved...each time was told the owner would call back. Needless to say.....no return calls. Avoid these folks if you're looking for quality work. read more

Just received our new pool/dining/poker table from Alex Billiards. What a fabulous piece of furniture! Make exactly to the specifications - complicated by the fact that we need to be able to convert to a dining table. Even has a built in drawer (with auto closer) to store all the accessories. The two gentlemen (Luis and Salvadore) who delivered and installed the table were excellent. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a high quality product. First off I just wanna say that I don't know how someone could give them one star. Jessie helped me out and the customer service was exceptional. I went to there shop and placed an order for one of their tables that are made to order... got to choose my stain and felt color. had to push back the delivery a couple times because I didn't have the keys to the house yet and everyone I called Jessie answered and was understandable about changing the delivery. got it delivered to my house and they arty it up and the table seriously exceeded my expectations. the table is great quality. one of the sticks that came in the kit were tweaked. I took the top portion back to Jessie thinking he'll swap out the top but he gave me an entire brew stick thatwas actually better than the one I had.. thanks Jessie and Alex billards! read more

Our beautiful pool table arrived a few weeks ago. Jesse from Alex's Biliiards helped me through the entire process. He sent multiple samples of both the felt colors and woods for me to choose from. His communication was excellent. The quality of the table is better than expected and the price was very reasonable. It came with an accessory kit that included a wall mounted cue holder. I am extremely happy with the table and service provided by this company and highly recommend them. read more

Alex agreed to refinish and re felt our Alex pool table we bought from him about 4 years ago. When he arrived with the re-finished table, the stain job didn't match the sample we approved and he didn't bring the felt color we selected. They were able to do some additional staining on site to get the color closer (still didn't match though) to what we selected on the table. Then he tried to convince us that the felt color he brought would look better than the color we selected. He even said he would go ahead and install the felt he had and if we didn't like it, he would get the felt we ordered and be happy to switch it out. I thought Alex was a nice guy running an honest business so I paid him in full on his word that he would change the felt if we really wanted the color we ordered. Well, after living with the table for a week or so, we decided we really wanted the color we ordered and I told Alex to switch it. After a lot of back and forth that took about 6 weeks, Alex finally said he would change the felt - FOR $400.00 DOLLARS!. After more back and forth, the best he agreed to do was $300.00. I told him if he couldn't keep his word, I would rather have someone else do it even it cost more money. I was very disappointed with Alex after giving his word just to break it over a measly $300.00. Alex makes a good pool table. Shows up when he says he will. That much I will give him. My advice to anyone that chooses to deal with Alex - make sure the job is 100% complete with no problems before you pay him. He's likely to walk away with your money never to be seen again. read more
