I called Derrick owner of DK Solutions, to help me with an electrical diagnosis, he came with-in a couple of days and found out that the painters pressure washer had tripped the GFI outlets 3 of them out side. One shorted the GFI outlet which I supplied him with a new one, so he installed 1 outlet, pushed a button to reset the other GFI outlets and handed me a bill for $524.00... So, I guess buyer beware, how do you charge that kind of money and stay in business??? Not someone I would recommend... read more

I assumed DK Solutions would do good work and I'd have no problems. Unfortunately, I dismissed those few negative reviews. I now regret going with this business and I'll list some of my reasons why. DK Solutions refused to honor their own 10% off coupon, which has since been removed after I tried to use it. There was no restrictions on the coupon. I was sent an email reply informing me it would not be honored. I still have that email. The electrical trench dug to supply power to my shed had pieces of trash and broken wires in it. I had to clean it out myself before the soil was put back into the trench. The bathroom exhaust fan wasn't installed in the center of the room as I had requested. Instead, it was installed by the window over the toilet. The exhaust fan required flexible duct-work be run through my attic. I agreed to have the vent run straight through to the side of my house. Instead, it was run on an angle and a hole was cut in the middle of the attic wall instead of the back corner of the attic. This bending of the duct-work towards the front of the house reduces air flow, causes resistance and increases the distance of the duct-work. (see pic) All of these reduce the efficiency of the exhaust fan and reduces usable attic storage space. The attic gable fan wasn't mounted to plywood, framed or centered properly which would allow the fan to efficiently operate and blow hot air out the gable vent. Instead, the gable fan was only secured by screws and was directly mounted onto the wall without being properly centered. This poor installation causes a huge reduction in air flow which greatly reduces its ability to cool the house. I gave DK Solutions an opportunity to make things better, but I was denied. For example, I tried to resolve one of the simplest issues after the work was completed. I requested that the outside bathroom exhaust vent be better caulked and replace the existing screws with stainless steel screws to prevent rust stains on the side of my house. I was told it would not be done and that the job was good enough. It seems negotiating doesn't work with DK Solutions. Lastly, I was told, as well as my invoice states, payment is due upon completion of work. I paid as requested, but that was wrong. Instead, payment is only due upon a final passing inspection according to most municipal electrical inspectors. This is the ordinance in my town and I was told I paid too early. I only wanted good, honest professionals to do the requested work for a good price. Instead, in my opinion, I received something far less than I deserved. UPDATE: The reply from DK wasn't truthful either. It is full of deception and dishonesty. For example, the coupon doesn't have restrictions on it. There was no real explanation for DK not to have given the 10% discount. Telling me I am getting a good enough deal when I attempted to use it isn't acceptable. That is why I included a photo of it. Just because a bunch of fecal excuses has been given by DK, it doesn't change the truth that I told and showed here on Yelp. Set up an appointment for a quote on Monday morning to have someone out Friday between 1-3pm. No call, no show. When I called the office, they made up an excuse. I wasted an afternoon waiting for them, and they offered a half hearted apology and wanted to set up another appointment. As per other reviews, don't waste your time. read more

DK Electrical's technician was excellent - he showed up on time, called before hand to let me know he was headed over, listened to what I wanted to accomplish and gave me a clear estimate of how much it would cost, what was involved, etc. The work he performed was done quickly and neatly, and his office sent out a receipt for the work and a written version of the estimate the same day. I have used almost every handyman and electrical contractor in Cherry Hill for the past 20 years and they were all OK, one or two maybe a little drunk, but I finally found DK Electrical Solutions. What a difference, for the same amount of money. Which is great, I like to get my money's worth, no more, no less. Brendan and Dylan were excellent in completing the job in a timely and professional manner. I am very pleased that they installed the correct size fan in my attic, and explained to me how they developed their experienced, expert opinion, after the 5 or 6 fans that were not installed or sized properly over the years. What a complete failure of a company. I called and provided when I could be home to show what what needed to get done for a quote of work running new lines. Day of they call and say their on their way 30 min early. I explained it would take me 30 min to get there from work. Suddenly , they could not come and offered me to pay for his time to wait for me to give me a quote... My response ... take a hike and don't come back. Don't use!!! read more

Either they don't really understand how electrical systems work, or they fully intended to do unnecessary work when they saw a chance to make an extra buck. Considering they never looked inside the panel, I'm thinking it was just shady. The bid was ridiculous by every comparison. If they call you, hang up. read more

Hired to complete electrical upgrade and some work for new ac unit Electrical upgrade went okay but installer left big patch new siding exposed where old meter pan was asked him put piece of plywood mount 2 30 amp disconnects with whips in that spot Installer didn't listen and installed under that spot and put 2 20 amp disconnects with no seal tight and installed no switch in attic for ac unit sloppy job in attic read more

Great workmanship ! Everything was done exactly like I asked and great attention was paid to every single detail of the job . They were here for multiple days as my job was rather large and I could not ask for more polite , professional , and skilled craftsman then Dk Electrical Solutions . I was slightly nervous when I saw the other review on this site , but then I found them on Home Advisor where they had hundreds of great reviews so I decided to call up and hire them.
