The water basins are lined with replaceable plastic. Screens separate you and the service provider. Everyone wears masks. Service providers wear gloves. Chairs, handles etc are wiped after each use. You are required to wash and scrub hands upon arriving. You also must sign a waiver. I paid in cash which was accepted. Beyond all the safety precautions, the experience was great and felt almost normal. It just was so nice to be pampered a little and my feet look and feel so much better.

I get dip done on my nails and I had to ask her to put the tinfoil with the nail polish remover over my nails to let them sit for a while. Personally, I thought she was very sloppy and in a hurry I watched her do someone's nails before mine and I was not impressed. She did not clean up her space very well after she got done with one of her clients before me. When I sat down, there was nail dust all over my chair. I wanted chrome done on top of my dip and she did not know what she was doing! Personally, I believe when you go to get your nails done and you're paying that amount of money and tipping, the inside temp should be very comfortable and you shouldn't be sweating as you're sitting there. You should not have to wait 45 minutes to an hour because she overbooked on a holiday and is more concerned about making money than she is about the wait time for her clients. The salon was not very clean with the nail dust all over my seat. The atmosphere was very dense and quiet as she did not even have any relaxing music playing. I can see the chrome on top of my nails is not spread evenly! I'm sorry, but with all the inflation happening and you splurge on going to get your nails done it should be done right! Not only that the atmosphere should not be what it was! My nail salon that I go to in Eagan is very clean! She always has relaxing music playing, I've had my nails done by three different ladies there and they all pay attention to detail and take their time! Not to mention there is no nail dust on my chair or on any of their salon desks or the floor! I'm extremely disappointed in Moon Nails in Apple Valley and I would highly recommend that you do your research and not just go with some of the other 4.5 star reviews that you see for this place!

And instead of understanding her side, the police sided with the business and handed her a fine and community service. This place doesn't care about customer satisfaction they care about money, control, and intimidation. If you value being treated with respect and decency, don't go here. Imagine our surprise when we found out this so called, "spa" doesn't do pedicures for new clients. Two years ago, we asked for a refund for our gift cards. They won't do that. Get this: This is a "spa" that doesn't do pedicures. It doesn't do facials. It doesn't do massages. Calling Revive a salon and spa, is like calling a restaurant without food - a "restaurant". Oh - what do they do? They do hair (we have our preferred hair stylists) and they do make up and waxing. Definitely not interested in that. They won't refund the money ($135.). It's time Revive changes their name or at least lets people know they aren't a traditional spa. So disappointed in the misrepresentation and the fact that they won't refund us.
