He knows his products inside and out and is a fair and honest business owner, a rare trait these days. If you want to buy the cheap and inferior version then you should go to home Depot, but don't be upset when it breaks. Have had a few occasions over the years to visit this shop. Today's was to get a 25 year old Bolens push mower to come back to life. Been messing with it for weeks with no success. Dan took a look and rather than taking it in gave me a few tips that were on the money. The point is that he didn't just take it in and make some money, he gave sound advise to a homeowner. I've used Dan in the past, when purchasing a chain saw or weed-eater, as I know he'll stand behind his products. This week he went above and beyond... I was doing some time-sensitive yard work when I experienced a flat tire on my sprayer. With rain coming and a full tank of herbicide sitting in the yard, I ran around to a bunch of local shops trying to get a timely fix, so that I could salvage the job but no one had the time or desire to fix a flat on a small garden tire. I hadn't thought about going to Beardsley's, as I know this time of year is probably his busiest with mower repairs and didn't think there would be any way he would have time to fix my tire. As a last resort I stopped in and, to make a long story short, Dan took the time to make the repair...
