I know that can be a real bear and I wasn't up to the frustration and busted knuckles. The service scheduling, pick-up & delivery went smoothly, simple phone communications. The repair and P&D fee was more than fair, service quality was top notch. In 2017 I decided to go "high tech" efficiency, and join the Zero-Turn bandwagon....but on a tight budget. I consulted with Randy Moyer, he introduced me to the "new" Bad Boy Mowers - they had just taken on the line. I purchased a new Bad Boy MZ 42" with Kohler V-Twin, he took my Simplicity in on trade. It's 8 years later now, no regrets. For cost vs. quality, you can't beat Bad Boy in the residential line. I recently decided to upgrade a little, took delivery of a 2026 Bad Boy MZ Magnum 48" from Moyers. Again, Randy took my (very well maintained) Bad Boy MZ on trade. It's a great place, the "big box" stores might be a little cheaper sometimes, but as most of us have come to know there's a lot more to value and satisfaction than just price.

By the time I got to trying to charge the battery I saw someone pull up to my driveway, which was the young man, and he had come to help me charge the battery. This is amazing customer service. They were really reasonably priced, picked both of them up and dropped them off within reasonable time. Tried other places but was told it would be a 6-8 week turn around which is ridiculous. They had both done within a few weeks. Just remember you get what you pay for. Steves Mower Shop is an honest local small business. Compared with many others in the area. Our one zero turn we were told would require a new left side hydraulic which would have run me over $1000 just for the part. Steve's found that it was only rust that got into the system and messed up the movement on that side. This will be my go to shop from now on.

Hill from there. Over the course of 6 weeks now (yes I still do not have my mower back) I've been given Wrong information on top of false promises of a follow up calls. After 3 initial calls of diagnoses, false time lines and an overall lack of communication spanning over a month... I called in yet again. To be told the mower was mis-diagnosed from the beginning and now they had to order different parts and were "still working on it" upon this call, which was now 6 weeks in. I got no apology, no sense or remorse or effort to prioritize this now in any capacity.... Until I completely called him out for all of this. 6 weeks total. 4+ phone calls almost all of which has been lies or false information with a complete lack of follow up or apology. So then I ask what's the time frame to resolve this. "Well depends on when the part comes in" When will the part be in "Well I don't really know hopefully this week" It's 2024 guys.
