This shopping center is the closest one to my step daughter's place. It's located on Route 44…read moreimmediately off I-295 in Smithfield, I have always found it a bit chaotic and "too big"....like the parking lots are huge and it seems like you have to drive from store to store since the distances are so large ! The Crossing at Smithfield is home to stores like Barnes & Noble, Home Depot, Michael's, Kohl's, Target, Dick's Sporting Goods, The Gap, Old Navy, and many more....... If you are looking to get groceries here.....there's a Dave's Fresh Marketplace.

Let me start with the negative: Access. Like most other reviews The Crossings at Smithfield has an…read moreaccess problem with only one road entering and another leaving which can cause major backups and headaches for many people. So much that during certain times of the year, I out right avoid coming here so as I don't have to sit in traffic and/or deal with people who can't handle it and start to develop a road rage-like attitude. Aside from that, the actual grounds and variety of stores here are quite nice. You have the usual Target and Kohls, a Michael's, Home Depot, Barnes and Noble, clothing stores, and Dave's Supermarket. Normally I try and do it all in one swift trip. Buy what I need for the house, over-indulge on some books at the book store followed by a latte. Perhaps finish it off by stopping at Dave's and buying something for dinner. Parking here is a breeze! Plenty of spaces, sure you may need to park and walk, but I enjoy that.

Prior to yesterday, I had been shopping at La Brie for years, even prior to having children and…read morehave brought my children into the store prior. I am echoing the sentiments of several other reviewers, the young shitty sales girls who stare with vacant haughty, disgusted eyes and make eyes with one another to disapprove and "mean girl" customers and kids should not work with people (ever). They should actually attend coursework on how to be better humans and understand patience, children and how to respond to kids and their parents in the store (when a kids gets restless- a normal thing). Easy to disapprove and feel smug about something your small lived experiences. lack of awareness and inability to have empathy have seemingly NOT taught you to take a more helpful approach or another perspective. But alas, the store manager was egging it on. I could see that when I pulled the manager aside to speak to her about her inappropriate employees. You run largely a children's dance store and no doubt you should understand kids and families. Instead you offered shittiness. I contemplated walking out without my products, but I purchased them instead for my child's sake and because you did not allow the situation to escalate. If I am being honest, I doubt you "spoke" to those grossly immature girls (who should not work there at all) other than to be glad my family left. Twenty years of purchasing from you is a long time to smugly have disdain and shittiness be your go-to response to my family. You have had some wonderful employees that have been helpful and understand how to interact with a restless child and their family. But how you allowed my family to feel in your store yesterday, means we will NOT return. Even the girl who claimed she does ballet- as I asked about dance booties, didn't appear to know anything other than how to feel inconvenienced and unable to be bothered with families she considers beneath her. Her sometimes nice acting two-faced friend echoed this in their often exchanged shitty glances. I cannot in good faith even recommend this store to ANYONE. And....I gathered that the store is shortsighted enough to believe my small family and business won't matter, anyway. Good luck.

We would always schedule appointments in advance to try on the dress following the agreed upon alterations Unfortunately, every time I went to an appointment, no alterations were made to the dress. I was constantly promised that the alterations would be made "next time". I went to several more appointments and the same thing continued to happen, nothing was done and more promises to have it done for next time. At about 1.5 months before our wedding, I went to an appointment and was told I had to "look for my dress in the back of the store because it could not be found". After searching through the back of the store, I found the dress and once again, no alterations had been made. After leaving defeated and with more promises that the dress would be ready in time, I spoke to my mom and decided to call Sueno one day later to take the dress back and no longer wear it for the wedding. After leaving several messages, I finally got through to the store and let them know I was taking the dress back and no longer needed alterations. When it was time to pick up the dress, the dress was completely destroyed and cut up. We are not sure why this happened when nothing had been done for 8 months and I had just called a day after my appointment to say that no work was needed. In addition to destroying the dress, we were also told that we needed to pay for "all of the work done". Overall, this was a complete disaster and I do not recommend anyone to go to this place for any alterations, especially a wedding dress.
