We see them 2x a year for service and each service is scheduled about 30 days in advance by their friendly office staff. They're always punctual come appointment time which I really appreciate. When they guy is here we only see him for a minute or two before he starts doing his thing. I assume they're doing great work, because whenever there's a power outage the generator starts up without any issue. All in all we're very happy with GenPro. I'd definitely recommend them for generator maintenance in Bucks County.

Also had motion sensitive switches and dimmer switches installed. I supplied LED bulbs to be used in each fixture. Outstanding job. The second time, I had most of the electrical in my two bathrooms updated, new LED ceiling fans, LED lighting over the shower in one bath and the tub in another, and the bathroom switching reworked. Also great job. The most recent time I had Brian replace all the Occupancy switches in my place because I was unhappy with the old ones I had chosen. Two other external light switches were replaced with versions with digital timers. Again, terrific job. I would have no problem recommending Brian for any job, his estimates have always been close to the mark and the prices fair. I had Costco intervene and they agreed to half payment two months before installation but they took the whole amount from my credit card anyway. I should have balked then but I didn't want to start over. I found the owner to be arrogant. Recently when they were trying to get me to renew my service contract, they tried to upsell me on $165 valve adjustment with a vague reference that not doing so could negate the warranty. I checked the Generac manual and found that my generator has hydraulic lifters which don't require adjustment. Needless to say I terminated my relationship with them.

The installation team was excellent, and I even referred them to others, earning a $50 coupon for my referrals. However, since October 2022, I've experienced recurring "overcrank" issues with the generator after its weekly exercise. PWS responded promptly each time, but the problem persisted, occurring five times in two years. I was charged $300 for two of those visits without a resolution. Eventually, they identified the outside regulator as the issue and quoted $898 for the replacement. I had to request a breakdown into Parts and Labor. The breakdown was $400 for a master plumber, $349 for the regulator (NGR02 1"NPT Orange Spring 2-7"WC 1/2" Orfice) , and $149 for someone to turn it on. I inquired on how long it would take to replace the regulator and I received a written response that "they wouldn't know until they got out to do the job" which led me to believe the $400 labor was an estimate. Despite my request for an adjustment after the plumber took only 30 minutes to replace the regulator, PWS insisted the quote was a flat rate, stating I had agreed to it and should be grateful for all of their "great service". When I researched the regulator's cost, I found it much lower than quoted. My complaints were met with accusations of ingratitude. I tried to speak to the owner but he refused. They did try to appease me with a lower cost which I paid but still paid too much and took a lot of verbal abuse. I won't use or recommend PWS anymore and have found another local dealer. I advise shopping around should you use Power Watch Systems for any repairs. For some reason this Yelp says I am from San Francisco but I am from Eagleville, PA

I prefer mom and pop shops to chain stores. Sometimes it's a bit busy in there, but you do get very personalized attention. I took 2 lamps to be repaired there and they charged me only $20 apiece. I also took a chandelier to have some work done and get cleaned up, and they did a beautiful job at a very fair price. It was far less than I expected. I needed a light for a powder room and was trying to decide on a couple. They took down the display models, wired them so I could plug them into an outlet, and let me take them home to check them out in my bathroom. They didn't charge me anything to do so! It's a good thing I did take them home, because the one I thought I preferred would nit work out there. So it was good I had the back up. That one also happened to be on sale, and I got a much better price than I expected. I bought a ceiling fan as well. Upon installing it, the motor wasn't working properly. The store ordered another to replace it. Again, they were very helpful and offered to replace it immediately.

Positives: Tom was very responsive via text and email - he was one of the first electricians to respond and had one of the most competitive offers. He gave me specific Amazon links and directions about purchasing a switch which helped me feel confident in his skillset and also in the products I was purchasing. In addition, he helped me solve a mystery about some other lights in my house (turns out I just couldn't find the switch). Room for improvement: On the first day we arranged for the job, Tom was late to arrive and we had to reschedule because it passed the time when I could be home. However, he worked to make it right and showed up on time at the next arranged time. He also waived the switch fee to compensate me for the inconvenience, which I appreciated. Other areas for improvement are that they could have cleaned up better after they left - there was still a lot of debris on the ground and I had to mop twice. And the switch was not completely flush with the wall (they did try to make it right and get it flush with the wall after I pointed it out but it's not perfect, I will have to have someone adjust it). Would I recommend? Yes, I would recommend Fortech. I was happy with their service and would hire them again for an electrical job at my primary home or rental properties.

Then when they finally showed up they made up the flimsiest reasons why they wouldn't repair the generator under warranty. In fact, they won't work on it at all unless I pay them more. Our Generac was faulty from the factory, and this company seems to be ok with that. I ended up fixing it myself.

I gave the operator all of my personal info and then waited an hour for their "master electrician" to call me back. Sean called me back 1.5 hours later to tell me they WON'T come to my area to do the work I explained to 2 different people that I needed. Instead, the "master electrician" texted me, " "we can't drive that far for a repair. We would suggest installing new lights. Anytime we try to repair a light it just spells trouble for both the client and us." Then, when he could tell I was upset (and probably thinking about leaving a bad review), he suddenly offered to come out and fix my fixture for free. Hmm. This company is a SCAM. Do not waste your time calling them. Find a LOCAL electrician. Shame on them.
