She's easy going, friendly but not too chatty and is usually available at a moments notice. Now for the business, Roy's is a no frills hair shop and it's right in Historic Downtown Mansfield. I personally like the fact that its a "mom and pop" operation as I feel it adds to the charm and overall experience. Bring cash, a men's cut runs $12 not including a tip. For comparison sake, I have been going to a personal friends boutique in Ft. Worth off 8th near Magnolia and she does fantastic work, has a great ambiance and provides choice beverages. The caveat is that it was a thirty minute drive one way and the cost was twice what Roy's charges. That being said, if Roy's quality wasn't up to snuff I would ultimately choose to make the trip and pay extra. However, I always leave Roy's with that extra boost of confidence that comes with a great haircut, so I shall return until further notice!
