The best little store in Yachats. A real old fashioned general store! They've come through for me…read moreso many times over the years when I'd forgotten to bring things I needed: a flashlight, a travel candle, and most recently a charging cord. And of course I find a lot of things I don't need, too! One of my favorite t-shirts came from here; it's got their store logo, which is an adorable little steampunk anglerfish. I'm so obsessed that I got a sticker with the same logo on it this trip (also, they have a lot of awesome stickers). On top of that, the staff are super friendly and welcoming! There's one delightful woman who has been there the last couple times, and she's a joy to chat with. I wish I had asked her name. I work retail myself, and she exudes the same warmth I try to give to all of my customers, too. It's not always an easy job, but you can tell when someone genuinely wants to make customers feel at home in their space and takes pride in their job. Also, I'm really obsessed with coming back and getting an anglerfish sweatshirt now.

The nice ladies in the mercantile didn't carry any, but pointed us in the right direction to find some. There is a ton of stuff in here! So much that most likely you'll find something while perusing the store. They even have a baked goods case in front. Great little find in Yachats. Would recommend.

I absolutely adore this little shop it is full of unique trinkets and treasures that make you never…read morewant to leave, I haven't been there since I was a kid and recently I broke an abalone shown that my mother purchased their several years ago and I inherited it after she passed away but I was heartbroken about the shell because we burn sage in them so I called Kinnee's gift shop and talked to Kayla and she very politely took down my information because I inquiring if perhaps maybe they could ship me one because that is originally where my mom purchased hers that had got broken the next day Arleen send me a text message and said she would be more than happy to less than a business week later I received the most beautiful shell in the mail wrapped perfectly and she even put a bundle of sage in there for me it brought tears to my eyes thank you so much Kayla and Arleen!!!! The people at the shop definitely will go the extra mile and the extra extra mile for their customers!!! Her shop is amazing - full of fascinating crafts from lots of different artists, and she herself makes gorgeous stained glass! We found so many treasures, everything was priced so reasonably, and we spent the rest of our afternoon raving about how much we love this gem of a shop. I was able to walk to here from the Oregon Dunes KOA. You can also use their parking lot for $5.00…read morea day for day use. They also have onsite camping, but I don't know the cost. Inside the store, there are two large rooms. One that has clothing and the other has a great variety of Myrtlewood Products. Lots of beautiful pieces like bowls, cutting boats, wooden kitchen tools, etc. There are some beautiful home decor items as well. And if you would like, they hand you a little piece of paper with the history of Myrtlewood. They also carry local coffees, ham and jellies, pickled items and wines. Very friendly people work here and they have a resident cat named "Myrtle". Definitely worth stopping and checking them out.

Everything is great quality. Everything from wooden spoons and bowls to furniture. Staff is friendly too.
