From day one, Dr. Youssef showed me 3D imaging of what he could do with my smile, and he ended up delivering exactly that--actually better. It was all very comfortable, and the techs were super nice. I really enjoyed the thorough explanation that Dr. Park gave me about the plan for my teeth. She set realistic expectations and asked me about what was important to me about my smile. Even the payment options were a breeze to work through with the office manager. He didn't mind me and my husband asking lots of questions and reviewing the contract, and even said he was happy to explain anything. During my daughter's initial consultation for braces we were told she would need stage 1 at $3,400. ,being on a tight budget I went to 2 other orthodontist in the area to have an evaluation and receive their quote. The other orthodontist were charging me just a little more at $4,300, however they were stating my daughter also needed phase 2 and 3 but those were included in price. But since orthodontist Centre never mentioned phase 2 or 3 with me at our consult I felt like maybe I was being taking advantage of by the other offices and decided to go with my "cheaper option". We are now 14 months in and they have advise me that we are ready for phase 2 and 3...requiring an ADDITIONAL deposit and payment aside from the 3400.00I have already been paying. I'm very disappointed I feel like I was lied to, this should have all been discussed at the initial appointment. My oldest is also in need of orthodontic treatment, however we will go somewhere else to avoid tho situation.We live and learn. Unfortunately I was not familiar with orthodontic treatment in general I should have listened to the other offices and paid a little more and had everything taken care of. My advice would be to ask questions, cheaper is not always better especially here with the hidden cost.

When I went back to my original orthodontist to ask about fixing it, I was shocked that they quoted me a fee that wasn't much lower than what I paid for my full treatment, even though only a few teeth had moved compared to where I started. It felt completely disproportionate to the problem. I did a lot of research and came across Life Orthodontics in Tustin, which offers touch-up aligners made in their office for cases exactly like mine. The price was genuinely reasonable, a fraction of what I'd been quoted elsewhere while still being treated by an orthodontist. What really sealed it for me was the Smile for Life Guarantee. Knowing that if my teeth ever shift again that I can get retreated for an even lower amount gave me real peace of mind. Hopefully I'll wear my retainers this time, but it's reassuring to know I'm covered either way. My experience with Dr. Robert Lee was excellent. What really impressed me was learning that he teaches clear aligner treatment to orthodontic residents at UCSF, so I knew I was in exceptionally capable hands for something I was nervous about. The office itself was also a pleasant surprise. It doesn't feel like a dental office at all. It's calm, beautifully designed, and his staff made the whole experience easy from start to finish. If you've had orthodontic relapse and your original office is quoting you a full retreatment fee, I'd strongly encourage you to look into Life Orthodontics first. I came in specifically because I was feeling unwell and suspected a blood sugar issue--especially since lab work from a different clinic the prior week showed a fasting glucose level high enough to indicate diabetes. Despite explaining this, the Physician Assistant (PA) dismissed my concerns, told me I "didn't fit the profile" for diabetes, and ordered a thyroid panel instead. Three days later, the support staff called to tell me they lost my blood sample and needed me to come back in. When I expressed frustration that they lost my sample for a test I didn't even ask for--while still refusing to run the metabolic panel I actually needed--the staff member literally hung up on me. I only returned the next day because it is within walking distance of my house and I was having the same feeling again, wanting to get to the bottom of what was happening. While the PA on duty that day was attentive, she ended up sending me to the ER for my blood pressure. After waiting four hours at the hospital, the ER doctor confirmed it wasn't an emergency at all. To top it all off, I received another call from the urgent care informing me that they did eventually run a metabolic panel, and my A1C and fasting glucose levels are, in fact, indicative of diabetes. Between the PA completely dismissing a patient's concerns, the staff losing blood samples, and being hung up on, the lack of professionalism and competence here is alarming. Go somewhere else.

The Smile Studio came highly recommended from a client/friend, when I was asking around for a good cosmetic dentist to repair the loss of enamel on my two front teeth. I followed up this recommendation with some online research and was pleased to see great reviews, so I called in. Long story short... I was impressed with the office staff's professionalism and knowledge from the start. We decided that 2 veneers would be my best option. The process was pretty painless! Dr. "Tiger" and "Nemo" are awesome. Total perfectionists, which I appreciate immensely. Even the temporaries looked great. After two weeks, my permanents were ready. I got them yesterday and I am elated with the end result. I've definitely found a new dentist for our family. This was the best dental experience that I've ever had. Came into the office for a cleaning and check up due to jaw pain. I spent more time with the dental hygienist than the doctor--which I understand is sometimes normal. The doctor looked in my mouth and at my X-ray for literally 2 minutes. Said very little info except that my X-ray showed a small infection near one of my vital teeth. She suggested a root canal and crown. Two weeks pass and my teeth pain gets worse. I decided to see another doctor who would hopefully take their time. He tells me the X-ray does not indicate an infection but that it's shows an abnormality. He immediately stops what he's doing to call a colleague to exam my X-ray and schedules me to an oral surgeon the next day. I'm still awaiting results but it could be something dangerous. After having to go to two separate doctors and spend $600 on scans, I would happily tell people not to go here. read more

Although I'm now very good friends with the staff at this office my review is gonna come from a strictly objective view. Ok first thing I can say, if a celebrity trusts this office then that's good enough for me. One of the first things you'll notice coming here is the walls are lined with models and celebrities who are patients. The next thing you'll notice is how modern the office looks and how well decorated is. However what will make you stay is how smoothly the office is run. The staff is friendly and polite but the stars of the show are the doctors. Wildly entertaining they'll make you think you're not even at a dental office. When most people think of a dentist office you pretty much have pretty bad thoughts. The smile studio definitely breaks that mold of a traditional dentist. You don't feel like you're in a cold dark dentist chair when you're there but it's a fun place with familiar faces and fun atmosphere. Definitely the best place to have your teeth done! Not sure how this office gets positive rating. Dr. Anthony smokes before seeing his patient so it stinks while being treated, his brother, the office manager, illegally worked on patient without being certified. OMG I forgot to report this to the board. It has been years since I had treatment but they should be investigated. And it's too weird that his super positive reviews are not from local people? As from time to time, they would forget and call you to ask about insurance when my dad paid all cash. Clerical error. It was resolved because I remembered the day my dad paid with all cash. If you paid by cash or credit card, get the receipt so you can have your own records. Also after talking to denti-cal, I was told that crowns are covered under medi-cal insurance if you have full scope. To ask the dental office to request prior authorization and if it is declined, to request for a reevaluation in case the procedure code was entered wrong.

He is very personable and does his best to ensure the patient's comfort, and is also willing to share knowledge and take his time to explain the procedures when asked. There is also no wait time -- your appointment time is when they are ready for you. I had a tooth extracted, one of my bottom incisors, and he confirmed wit me multiple times to make sure I was aware of the results (having only three incisors would remove my bottom midline entirely); not because he doubted me, but because he wanted to make sure I would remain satisfied with my smile in the future after the extraction, and so I could make the most informed decision. I appreciate his proactive approach.

I came in as a new patient to establish a new dentist after having moved and last saw a dentist a…read moreyear ago. I was glad to have been able to make an appointment within the week and didn't have to wait in the waiting room long. The dental hygienist got to taking x-rays right away and did a good job about not pinching my gums or cheeks too much during the process, which I know sometimes is a struggle. When Dr. Chris came in, there wasn't any niceties exchanged, barely an introduction. It felt very short, abrupt, straight to the point, and not conversational. I've always liked going to the dentist and felt comfortable at the dentist, but I can imagine for someone who doesn't like the dentist that this interaction would not have put them at ease or made to feel welcomed. I was told I had cavities and they were able to take care of them right away. Convenient for me not to have to come back another time, so that was great! What really threw me off was that during the process, Dr. Chris just announced out loud, "Time for a break!" And dropped everything and left the room with the hygienist. I was so confused and baffled. How could they take a break in the middle of filling my cavity?? I was stressing because I wasn't sure if he hurt himself and needed to go take care of it, if he went on a lunch break, or if something else was going on. I was left in the dark, figuratively. It felt like awhile before another hygienist came in looking for supplies when she asked if I was doing okay. I said I was fine and asked if everyone else was okay. She said that Dr. Chris needed to tend to an emergency with another patient momentarily. I felt a little better after knowing that. When he came back, I thought he would at least address his absence with something like, "I'm sorry for the interruption. I had to attend to an emergency." Or a, "Thank you for waiting." But instead, I got, "Okay let's keep going." As a healthcare professional myself, I understand the importance of transparency and helping manage expectation to help put patients at ease. A simple, "I will be back in a few minutes. I need to go help another patient" wouldn't have left me stressed out about what was happening and when/if he was coming back. We ended up getting interrupted again but this time I heard the other hygienist say, "I'm so sorry but I need you again." Dr. Chris said, "I'll be right there." And he left the dental saliva ejector mouthpiece in my mouth when he stepped out. I think he thought he'd be back right away so he didn't take it out but it ended up staying in my mouth so long I was so dried out and uncomfortable. I was tempted to remove it myself and honestly probably should have, but I kept thinking he'd be back any moment. Finally, he came back, again with no apology for stepping out. He finished up quickly and I was out. My mouth and tongue were still numb so it wasn't until the next day where I felt the grooves of the filling and I wanted it smoothed out. I called the office and they were able to get me in that same day. I was taken care of by hygienist Lynne and she was fabulous!! She was approachable, conversational, answered my questions, and checked up on how I was doing often. She helped me smooth out the rough edges of the filling so that it felt more seamless. She thanked me for coming in and told me to request her the next time I was in. I'm giving this dental office a 4/5 because of the timeliness of the appointments, the attentive hygienists, the cleanliness, and the good final product of my fillings. My major critique is just the bedside manner from Dr. Chris and the process of getting my filling. I'm hopeful and willing to give it the benefit of the doubt that it was just one bad fluke of a day. It wasn't bad enough for me to be turned away. I guess I'll see again at my 6 month appointment.
