He then asked if I wanted to remove and replace that tooth too but I would have had to pay for it myself. At that point, I honestly just wanted to leave because I was afraid more damage could happen. I originally went in for work on one tooth that only had a stain. Somehow, I was convinced to replace that tooth, but the process ended up involving shaving down the two healthy teeth next to it in order to place the replacement tooth in the middle. If I had known from the beginning that this was the plan, I would have never agreed to it. Now the chipped tooth has a white mark/stain that people constantly mistake for food stuck between my teeth. On top of that, I was told the dental work would last around 10 years, but it did not even last 6. I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience with this dentist. If so, please contact me.

I came in specifically because I was feeling unwell and suspected a blood sugar issue--especially since lab work from a different clinic the prior week showed a fasting glucose level high enough to indicate diabetes. Despite explaining this, the Physician Assistant (PA) dismissed my concerns, told me I "didn't fit the profile" for diabetes, and ordered a thyroid panel instead. Three days later, the support staff called to tell me they lost my blood sample and needed me to come back in. When I expressed frustration that they lost my sample for a test I didn't even ask for--while still refusing to run the metabolic panel I actually needed--the staff member literally hung up on me. I only returned the next day because it is within walking distance of my house and I was having the same feeling again, wanting to get to the bottom of what was happening. While the PA on duty that day was attentive, she ended up sending me to the ER for my blood pressure. After waiting four hours at the hospital, the ER doctor confirmed it wasn't an emergency at all. To top it all off, I received another call from the urgent care informing me that they did eventually run a metabolic panel, and my A1C and fasting glucose levels are, in fact, indicative of diabetes. Between the PA completely dismissing a patient's concerns, the staff losing blood samples, and being hung up on, the lack of professionalism and competence here is alarming. Go somewhere else.

I was being charged again and my paperwork was not ready. Second visit for TB test and to pick up my paperwork took over 45 minutes. And I still had to come back a third time for my clearance form. The Smile Studio came highly recommended from a client/friend, when I was asking around for a good cosmetic dentist to repair the loss of enamel on my two front teeth. I followed up this recommendation with some online research and was pleased to see great reviews, so I called in. Long story short... I was impressed with the office staff's professionalism and knowledge from the start. We decided that 2 veneers would be my best option. The process was pretty painless! Dr. "Tiger" and "Nemo" are awesome. Total perfectionists, which I appreciate immensely. Even the temporaries looked great. After two weeks, my permanents were ready. I got them yesterday and I am elated with the end result. I've definitely found a new dentist for our family. This was the best dental experience that I've ever had. Came into the office for a cleaning and check up due to jaw pain. I spent more time with the dental hygienist than the doctor--which I understand is sometimes normal. The doctor looked in my mouth and at my X-ray for literally 2 minutes. Said very little info except that my X-ray showed a small infection near one of my vital teeth. She suggested a root canal and crown. Two weeks pass and my teeth pain gets worse. I decided to see another doctor who would hopefully take their time. He tells me the X-ray does not indicate an infection but that it's shows an abnormality. He immediately stops what he's doing to call a colleague to exam my X-ray and schedules me to an oral surgeon the next day. I'm still awaiting results but it could be something dangerous. After having to go to two separate doctors and spend $600 on scans, I would happily tell people not to go here. read more

Although I'm now very good friends with the staff at this office my review is gonna come from a strictly objective view. Ok first thing I can say, if a celebrity trusts this office then that's good enough for me. One of the first things you'll notice coming here is the walls are lined with models and celebrities who are patients. The next thing you'll notice is how modern the office looks and how well decorated is. However what will make you stay is how smoothly the office is run. The staff is friendly and polite but the stars of the show are the doctors. Wildly entertaining they'll make you think you're not even at a dental office. When most people think of a dentist office you pretty much have pretty bad thoughts. The smile studio definitely breaks that mold of a traditional dentist. You don't feel like you're in a cold dark dentist chair when you're there but it's a fun place with familiar faces and fun atmosphere. Definitely the best place to have your teeth done! Dr. Tiger is fantastic and the staff makes you feel like you're part of the family. Highly recommend this place to anyone for any and all your dental work!! Not sure how this office gets positive rating. Dr. Anthony smokes before seeing his patient so it stinks while being treated, his brother, the office manager, illegally worked on patient without being certified. OMG I forgot to report this to the board. It has been years since I had treatment but they should be investigated. And it's too weird that his super positive reviews are not from local people? He is very personable and does his best to ensure the patient's comfort, and is also willing to share knowledge and take his time to explain the procedures when asked. There is also no wait time -- your appointment time is when they are ready for you. I had a tooth extracted, one of my bottom incisors, and he confirmed wit me multiple times to make sure I was aware of the results (having only three incisors would remove my bottom midline entirely); not because he doubted me, but because he wanted to make sure I would remain satisfied with my smile in the future after the extraction, and so I could make the most informed decision. I appreciate his proactive approach.

I was glad to have been able to make an appointment within the week and didn't have to wait in the waiting room long. The dental hygienist got to taking x-rays right away and did a good job about not pinching my gums or cheeks too much during the process, which I know sometimes is a struggle. When Dr. Chris came in, there wasn't any niceties exchanged, barely an introduction. It felt very short, abrupt, straight to the point, and not conversational. I've always liked going to the dentist and felt comfortable at the dentist, but I can imagine for someone who doesn't like the dentist that this interaction would not have put them at ease or made to feel welcomed. I was told I had cavities and they were able to take care of them right away. Convenient for me not to have to come back another time, so that was great! What really threw me off was that during the process, Dr. Chris just announced out loud, "Time for a break!" And dropped everything and left the room with the hygienist. I was so confused and baffled. How could they take a break in the middle of filling my cavity?? I was stressing because I wasn't sure if he hurt himself and needed to go take care of it, if he went on a lunch break, or if something else was going on. I was left in the dark, figuratively. It felt like awhile before another hygienist came in looking for supplies when she asked if I was doing okay. I said I was fine and asked if everyone else was okay. She said that Dr. Chris needed to tend to an emergency with another patient momentarily. I felt a little better after knowing that. When he came back, I thought he would at least address his absence with something like, "I'm sorry for the interruption. I had to attend to an emergency." Or a, "Thank you for waiting." But instead, I got, "Okay let's keep going." As a healthcare professional myself, I understand the importance of transparency and helping manage expectation to help put patients at ease. A simple, "I will be back in a few minutes. I need to go help another patient" wouldn't have left me stressed out about what was happening and when/if he was coming back. We ended up getting interrupted again but this time I heard the other hygienist say, "I'm so sorry but I need you again." Dr. Chris said, "I'll be right there." And he left the dental saliva ejector mouthpiece in my mouth when he stepped out. I think he thought he'd be back right away so he didn't take it out but it ended up staying in my mouth so long I was so dried out and uncomfortable. I was tempted to remove it myself and honestly probably should have, but I kept thinking he'd be back any moment. Finally, he came back, again with no apology for stepping out. He finished up quickly and I was out. My mouth and tongue were still numb so it wasn't until the next day where I felt the grooves of the filling and I wanted it smoothed out. I called the office and they were able to get me in that same day. I was taken care of by hygienist Lynne and she was fabulous!! She was approachable, conversational, answered my questions, and checked up on how I was doing often. She helped me smooth out the rough edges of the filling so that it felt more seamless. She thanked me for coming in and told me to request her the next time I was in. I'm giving this dental office a 4/5 because of the timeliness of the appointments, the attentive hygienists, the cleanliness, and the good final product of my fillings. My major critique is just the bedside manner from Dr. Chris and the process of getting my filling. I'm hopeful and willing to give it the benefit of the doubt that it was just one bad fluke of a day. It wasn't bad enough for me to be turned away. I guess I'll see again at my 6 month appointment.

This is a very modern dental office, fully equipped with the latest techniques and technology, which gave me confidence that I was receiving the best and most up-to-date care. Dr. Trisha performed my examination, and I really appreciated her approach. She gave me practical, realistic advice about my coffee-drinking habits, without judgment (you know that feeling) or pushing unnecessary procedures. What stood out to me is that she didn't try to sell me on things I didn't ask for, such as braces, but instead focused on my actual priorities--specifically, my chipped teeth and receding gums. That kind of patient-centered care is rare and refreshing. Another major plus I discovered is that Dr. Trisha has specialized training and experience working with individuals with special needs. This is a huge benefit to our community, because there are only a couple of dentists in the area who are truly experienced in this area. I know because I work with children with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Overall, my experience here has been wonderful, and I fully intend to bring my other family members for their dental care as well. As a side note, it's important to understand that you really do get what you pay for. A modern facility, innovative techniques, advanced technology, and a staff who clearly enjoy their work are not cheap. Dental-Cal/Medi-Cal reimbursement rates are very low, so it makes sense that they don't accept those insurances. Nevertheless, if you are seeking a dentist who can actually solve your dental problems with up-to-date, compassionate, and high-quality care, this is the right place.

But their attention to detail, dental skills, and technology utilized are top notch. The office is new and super clean. And their dental associates are super pleasant as well. And I don't know if I should say this, but their prices seems to be the lowest I have ever encountered. 5 Star Experience!! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a dentist. You can't go wrong here.

Beware of Unethical Practices!!! Their care approach appears to prioritize additional billable…read moreprocedures over standard clinical care. The hygienist (Juliet) insisted on optional procedures (laser, irrigation, and Arestin) for my wife before providing evidence-based SRP (Deep Cleaning), even though my wife's dental chart clearly showed 5 mm pockets and radiographic bone loss - early stage Periodontitis. When I requested to bypass these adjunct procedures and proceed straight to deep cleaning, they refused treatment for my wife, accused me of wanting them to commit insurance fraud as they wanted her to complete the optional procedures first. According to ADA/AAP guidelines, these adjuncts are not required as first-line treatment. Deep cleaning is the first-line, gold standard for any confirmed or suspected early-stage periodontitis. Most, if not all other offices would've scheduled SRP immediately based on her charts/x-rays. When I confronted them with this fact, Juliet said we were "not a good fit moving forward." and that I was "telling them how to do their jobs," even though I was simply citing standard treatment guidelines that they are not following. I have requested my records and will be going to a non‑shady family practice. I recommend everyone seek a second opinion before agreeing to elective adjunct procedures that this office frames as clinically necessary. Also be aware that many of their Google/Yelp reviews appear to come from profiles with low numbers of reviews, so I recommend taking them with caution. Additionally, double-check quoted prices for each procedure. On multiple occasions, this office overquoted me, and when I asked them to verify with my insurance, the price was drastically reduced.
