She set realistic expectations and asked me about what was important to me about my smile. Even the payment options were a breeze to work through with the office manager. But since orthodontist Centre never mentioned phase 2 or 3 with me at our consult I felt like maybe I was being taking advantage of by the other offices and decided to go with my "cheaper option". We are now 14 months in and they have advise me that we are ready for phase 2 and 3...requiring an ADDITIONAL deposit and payment aside from the 3400.00I have already been paying. I'm very disappointed I feel like I was lied to, this should have all been discussed at the initial appointment. My oldest is also in need of orthodontic treatment, however we will go somewhere else to avoid tho situation.We live and learn. Unfortunately I was not familiar with orthodontic treatment in general I should have listened to the other offices and paid a little more and had everything taken care of. My advice would be to ask questions, cheaper is not always better especially here with the hidden cost.

When I went back to my original orthodontist to ask about fixing it, I was shocked that they quoted me a fee that wasn't much lower than what I paid for my full treatment, even though only a few teeth had moved compared to where I started. It felt completely disproportionate to the problem. I did a lot of research and came across Life Orthodontics in Tustin, which offers touch-up aligners made in their office for cases exactly like mine. The price was genuinely reasonable, a fraction of what I'd been quoted elsewhere while still being treated by an orthodontist. What really sealed it for me was the Smile for Life Guarantee. Knowing that if my teeth ever shift again that I can get retreated for an even lower amount gave me real peace of mind. Hopefully I'll wear my retainers this time, but it's reassuring to know I'm covered either way. My experience with Dr. Robert Lee was excellent. What really impressed me was learning that he teaches clear aligner treatment to orthodontic residents at UCSF, so I knew I was in exceptionally capable hands for something I was nervous about. The office itself was also a pleasant surprise. It doesn't feel like a dental office at all. It's calm, beautifully designed, and his staff made the whole experience easy from start to finish. If you've had orthodontic relapse and your original office is quoting you a full retreatment fee, I'd strongly encourage you to look into Life Orthodontics first. I was being charged again and my paperwork was not ready. Second visit for TB test and to pick up my paperwork took over 45 minutes. And I still had to come back a third time for my clearance form. Dr. Christopher Nguyen is definitely one of the greatest people I have ever met. There are several reasons for me to recommend him to you, your relatives, or your family members. Graduating from Boston University with a dental degree, he is very knowledgable about every possible scenarios. He put me as his client first and took very good care of me. As a careless patient, I admitted that I broke my brackets accidentally many times, but with a simple call, an emergency appointment was given to me as soon as possible. Additionally, Dr. Christopher trained his workers very well and they were very helpful whenever doctor was not available. Overall, I could not be more happier with my experience at his office. To those who complained that he did not take good care of your teeth and the process was slow, please do understand that it's not his fault and he did not intend to keep you with him for extra couple of months for more money. In fact, once you finished your payment with the office, you will not pay any extra fee regarding extra visits in case a delay in the process (of course, there will be an exception of special cases). And regarding the speed of how fast your teeth move, Doctor has no control over that since the shape of the jaw and your bones' structures are put into account so sometimes, it might take longer than he promised. After the scan, the doctor carefully reviewed the results with me and explained my treatment plan in detail. I was given an estimated treatment timeframe of about 2 1/2-3 years and was informed that I would need TADs and jaw surgery. I expressed to the doctor that I was uncomfortable with the idea of jaw surgery because I was worried about the pain, so he recommended using a Herbst device instead. The doctor also recommended the removal of my wisdom teeth and provided me with a referral to an oral surgeon. One thing I really appreciated was that they offered interest-free monthly payment plans, which made the treatment much more manageable and affordable for me. well , lets start off with how it was without my braces . i extremely hated smiling in pictures and i hated eating apples because of my crooked teeth . Oh and i also had a mean under bite! when my parents finally let me get braces in my 8th grade year, i was so happy and scared. I was imagining that i would have a crazy doctor with goblins as his apprentices. thankfully it wasn't the case because when i entered the office, everybody was really nice and smiling. During my four years of having braces (btw that was how serious my teeth needed their help), i felt more comfortable with the doctor and nurses and even the fishes at their lobby. Whenever you are bored you can also watch TV (they have 3 flat screens), read magazines or read letters from their past clients, or look at the many pictures they have in their wall. i also felt secured by the fact that the doctor had so many satisfied clients and the Wall of Teeth near the xray. i know it might seem scary to have braces but i will ensure everyone will have perfect teeth and a perfect smile if you stay patient and persistent! Even though wearing rubber bands could be a drag and its really hard to adjust to, you will have to endure it because the more you wear it the faster you can take your braces off. Put aside the newly renovated office, friendly staff, double television sets, complimentary toothbrushes, convenient scheduling, welcoming environment, etc. Let's talk about the actual quality of his work. Dr. Christopher H. Nguyen closely follows up with each of his patient's progress. Depending on the anatomy of teeth, it'll determine how long the braces are required to be on. Through personal experience, the entire braces process only took a year and 1/2. Through his work (for example the photography of his patients on display in his office) he does an excellent job straightening teeth and fixing over/under bites, meanwhile keeping the patients natural smile rather than resulting in artificial looking smiles. For future reference, do follow his instructions when he emphasizes on using rubber bands, brushing in circles, flossing etc. to achieve the highest potential results. read more

For the past 5 years, I have been going to Christopher's Orthodontics along with my sister. We really enjoyed coming to our appointments every month, and getting our braces done by our outgoing and caring staff members. I am thankful that Dr. Christopher was able to relocate my tooth. In eighth grade I had this one tooth that was on the roof of my mouth, and Dr. Christopher was abled to align it along with the rest of my teeth. He gave my family and I hope when we all thought that the tooth would have to eventually been pulled out. I love Dr. Christopher! I recently just came back in since I broke my retainers and he was great at helping me replaced my old one. Before I got braces my teeth were really bad. I had a tooth stuck in my gum and he slowly pulled it down for me after I got my surgery. At first, I was scared that he couldn't do it, but then he proved me wrong. He never charge me extra if I broke my brackets like some other places my friends go to. I always love coming here and it was great seeing him again after a few years. Dr. Nguyen and his staff are amazing! Dr. Nguyen made sure I knew what was going on every step of the way. I got Invisalign for the first time ever and after three years, I am super happy with my smile. His staff are very friendly and scheduling appointments and consultations are easy. They also are taking COVID-19 precautions seriously, so I feel very safe coming in for my check-ups. This review is long overdue. I finished wearing my braces back in 2020, and been wearing retainers since then. In 01/25, I lost my retainers, so I called doctor Christopher Nguyen's office to ask them for my record. The front desk lady was able to schedule an appointment for me to see doctor Nguyen right away even though their schedule was very tight due to office moving process. I got a new pair of retainers within a week with no hiccups. I'd highly recommend doctor Nguyen for who wants to get braces done nicely with best results. read more
