I utilized Doctor Junk twice for a recent move. The first time I used them I had a couple of issues. The first was with the arrival. I completely understand that I was provided with a window of arrival, but even though I was sent the name, photo, and a number to text the driver, they arrived towards the very end of the window of time with no communication. I understand that is a window of time and that the driver/ workers cannot control the size of the jobs they pick up, and that jobs before mine could have been larger than expected. I completely understand that. However, why provide me with a text number and no communication even after I texted questioning when they might be arriving? The second issue I had with the first time I utilized Dr. junk was that I was quoted an estimate over the phone, I understand that they can only quote an estimate over the phone without seeing what needs to be picked up and that there might be a price difference once the drivers actually arrive. I completely understand that. However, what the driver quoted me was significantly higher than the estimate quoted on the phone. it turned out to be at the high range of the original estimate once the driver had everything loaded. So the first time I used Dr junk, it was OK hence the race star rating I gave them here. However, the second time I went to utilize Dr. junk my wife and I called the day of and wanted to get a same day pick up. The owner was able to work us in and gave us a timeframe of 5 PM to 7 PM. We were again given , the picture name and a number to text the driver who would be picking up our second load. We waited. We waited. Around 7:45 PM. The driver texted and said they were running late. We texted the driver, but no response until 10:40 PM that night. Asking us if we were still available. That was the last and only contact we heard from the Dr junk driver that evening. The owner said they could do an 8 PM to 10 PM pick up, but we originally stated that would not work and then the owner gave us a 5 to 7 PM window. But we received no contact from the driver. I waited at the empty house I had just moved out of For almost 5 hours. With no contact from Dr. Junk. The next morning, the owners contact my wife and was apologetic and said we would be one of the first pick ups for the day and gave us another time window. Again, the driver came towards the very end of that window. Frustrating, after waiting so long the night before. And at this point, we just wanted the stuff taken away. It was a frustrating experience the night before.. The driver did give us a discounted price for the pick up, but after some negotiation, which at that point, I felt they should've just given us a discount and not any haggling over the price. But at that time, I was just glad to have the stuff gone so I could focus on moving in to my new residence. So I appreciate the owners apologies and the discount they gave us for the second pick up, but I am afraid that getting ghosted from the driver or being expected to be around well after 10 PM is unreasonable and I cannot recommend Dr junk read more

Igor and Doctor Junk were extremely helpful in removing all the debris and remnants from my kitchen remodel. They quickly, cleanly, and easily removed and hauled my busted up cabinets, granite countertops, old appliances, old light fixtures, busted tile, etc. AND they did it for less than I could, if I were to hire labor, rent a large truck for hauling, and take it to a disposal yard.
