We recently had to clear out my late uncle's home in Laguna Woods Village, a unit that had been unoccupied for two years due to probate delays after his passing. The place was in rough shape: layers of dust, cobwebs, dead insects, and piles of junk everywhere. It was a daunting job both physically and emotionally, but Platinum Bucket made it feel manageable. Back in July, I found them by chance while searching Yelp for last-minute junk removal. They weren't the first to pop up in the search results, but something told me to give them a call, and I'm so glad I did. Christina was incredibly kind and accommodating, and within an hour Juan showed up with his truck and trailer, ready to help. Despite already having a nearly full load, he and his helper still managed to take more than we expected. They worked quickly, efficiently, and with such great energy that I immediately knew we would call them again when it came time for the full cleanout. Fast forward to October. I scheduled a full unit removal (almost 1,000 sqft, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, and two outdoor storage units). Christina gave us a fair quote for about two trailer loads. On cleanup day, Juan and his helper Owen showed up on time and got straight to work, short-staffed but unstoppable. Juan hauled two full loads to the dump, and before the third run Christina even showed up to help hands-on. My aunt and I jumped in too, and together we almost filled that third trailer. They went above and beyond to get this tough job done. It took longer than expected, but not once did they complain. They handled everything with patience, professionalism, and heart. My aunt, who has been grieving and overwhelmed, was so relieved and grateful for their compassion and support.
