They will use it to charge you three times what it would cost if you paid out-of-pocket (cash), ridiculous. Example, charged $269 for a rapid Flu A & B/Covid test. Cost of the test from Walgreens, ~$12, cost if you self paid (paid cash vs. insurance), $84. Request both the insurance price and self pay pricing in advance. Once the request for charges goes through, they will proceed to collude with the insurance companies to inflate the costs above what is realistic and reasonable. I will never patronize them again.

After a short wait in the spacious , tidy waiting area , I was guided to the back where I was asked a few questions related to my health/visit (except for the very odd question about if my parents were alive or dead ) before the P.A. came in . A few more questions and tests before I had a chest xray, then back to the room . A very few minutes later , PA. T Munoz informed me of her diagnosis. She patiently answered all my questions and I was back home in just over an hour . It was the most efficient , as well as comforting experiences I've had in a medical office in years . I wish all medical appointments were the same . Your happy camper , Sincerely , Sharon Baxter

We were both dealt with professionally. The diagnosis was in line with our symptoms and appropriate medicine and services were given. I was referred for an x-ray. They Clinic office was timely in notifying me about the results of the x-ray. They have called several times to check on my problem. We both have very competent health care professionals, however, it is not always easy to schedule an appointment. Therefore,we will continue to go to the North Augusta Walmart Little Clinic because of the hours they are open and the care we have received.

I was a walk in patient. There were two people ahead of me. I signed in, filled out paperwork and was told it wouldn't be long. Then two other people walked in. They were all taken back while I was left sitting. I asked how much longer and was told the other two had appointments but it wouldn't be much longer, maybe 20 minutes. It was way longer than 20 minutes. I finally got back into a room. Vitals were taken and then I had to wait for a "nurse" to come in to take my information. For someone in that position to not know what a very well known prescription was so she could type it into my information surprised me. Then for her to not know what congestive heart failure was when we were going over family history, really worried me (about what she does and doesn't know). Again, I waited a long time but the practitioner came in. She was nice enough, but still didn't seem to understand my problem and was very little help. They ran two tests, both of which I had to do the test itself, MYSELF, handing it to them when I was done. They told me it would take two days to get back the results (of which I paid extra to get the lab work sent off). This was on a Thursday. This is now Monday night, I have called repeatedly today-Monday-and they still won't call me back with my results. I did talk to someone there, but they had to get someone up front to call me with the results, to which no one ever called. They also told me when I was there that they would call in a prescription for an antibiotic and for me to pick it up if symptoms started getting worse. I called today (Monday) and nothing was ever called in. They fell down on the job all of the way around. Basically, if it was something very serious, I could be in real trouble by now. This was single handedly the WORST medical experience I have ever had.

I Will be finding another doctor, leaving CPC after 20 years! The doctors that I have seen for the last 6 years doesn't seem to want to take time to talk with your or care really about whats going on with your health anyways, they just open their computers type some answers in and leave the room.

I thought it was odd that when I arrived for my annual wellness check that I was asked to sign a form stating that if you and the doctor covered any topics outside of a wellness check that you would be billed for that. I signed it and didn't give it another thought as I no new issues to discuss. Imagine my surprise when I received a bill. I called the office and asked why I had been billed when my insurance covers annual physicals. I was told by the staff that the doctor had asked about things outside of the scope of an annual exam. I asked what and was told that it was related to my sleep apnea. I was astounded as I have had a CPAP for maybe 4 years and I have a pulmonologist and Dr. Hewitt asks every year if I am still wearing my CPAP. My response, yes. How the heck is that yearly simple question and one word answer the requirement for an additional office visit charge. I relayed that to the office and requested they talk to the doctor about this. Never received a call from the office; however, my access to the portal was deleted a few days later and in about a week or so I received a certified letter stating that Dr. Hewitt had dismissed me as a patient and I had a month to find another doctor. As a follow-up I called the office and told the staff about this and the person said that Dr. Hewitt had not put a reason for my dismissal in my chart. Just the facts. If you don't want to be dismissed maybe don't question a charge.

I've been to two VA hospital in other states and this Facility is by far the worst. It's so bad you can't even get in Contact with the patient advocate. You at either waiting for months for an appointment or in pain in the ER waiting for hours. There is very little compassion within this facility.

I've been a patient here for about 2.5 yrs. I just left a positive review on their podiatry office…read morebut I just wanted to say that I've also been to their MRI office, their pain management office and their emergency room. I was super impressed with their MRI office and their pain management office; extremely professional and quick. My experience at the ER was very good but I wasn't able to get in and out as quickly as I wanted and it was CRAZY cold in the waiting area (many of us were given blankets) and I don't normally mind the cold but this was beyond what I've experienced before. It took me 2 hours to get seen, get prescriptions and get out. That said, I was seen by Dr Mah after only 65 mins which was pretty good for an ER figuring I only had painful sinusitis so I was low in terms of priority. Dr Ma was very nice and told me to wait in the waiting area for my prescription paperwork. The thing that got me was I had to go up to the desk 40 mins after leaving Dr Ma's office to get action on my prescription paperwork. I'm not sure much longer I would've been there if I hadn't done that. Luckily I did so I was out in 2 hours. I had to go back in for a meningitis concern on a Saturday which either meant going back to the VA's ER or a MedStop and I chose the MedStop which was a good choice as I was in/out in 20 mins with prescriptions in hand. I still give the VA hospital (both downtown and uptown locations) a FIVE STAR rating b/c my overall experience has been phenomenal in the past 2.5 years.
