I sat in a hallway from 10am to 10pm after being brought in by ambulance. I finally got a room in the ER and within 2 hours was admitted to the hospital. Once in a room, the care was excellent and the rooms were private - this is critical because there are people who snore or are disruptive. The food was very good for a hospital, yet the call in order system needs to be updated to an app. The hospital took care of my issue once it was identified and I was released 5 days later. It is the best hospital stay I have had. The staff were excellent and available when called. There are lots of people leaving negative reviews for things beyond the control of the hospital or for following protocols. Doctors and nurses have to follow standardized procedures, so complaining they did not make an exception is not indicative of the care you will receive. I would not hesitate to go back if I need medical care. I had an excellent experience overall. The only room for improvement is more space for patients in the ER out of the hallway.

The kid was mostly happy and didn't seem to be in any particular distress, so going to the ER seemed a little excessive. I knew they needed to get checked, and I needed the peace of mind, so I went right to PM Pediatrics to get them checked out. The waiting area was nice and roomy, and we got called back and seen very quickly. The nurses and doctor we saw were fantastic and super sweet. We were discharged and on our way in no time. I'm so glad I trusted my gut and got the all clear, and thankful to have another trusted resource for my kid.

Once inside I learned that you can schedule an appointment in advance if needed. Registration is to be done online via a QR code. Because my need was outside of the norm, a receptionist assisted with registration. I could tell that they were new, as many mistakes were made, from entering myself in the system rather than my child, failure to ask for my insurance card, and having to repeat/enter information in several times. I appreciate the need to learn; however, at some point it would have been helpful for someone else to take over (eventually they did). Once taken back, the RN that assisted us was super kind and gentle with our son. He took the time to answer any questions that we had. The NP was kind and listened to our concerns. We were advised we would receive a follow up call, as of late (it's been 5 days) and that hasn't occurred. Overall, I was really pleased with my experience, at PM. The location is close to my home, I can make an appointment if needed, the staff are kind, the location is clean and they did a great job caring for my kid.

The doctor also "highly recommended" I get the meds; I said if I got malaria I'd just "shake it off." He was baffled. I was defiant. Now-husband just bought me the meds. I lost my passport anyway. Luckily, I've come a long way in embracing medical care! After self-medicating a sore throat for a week with chicken noodle soup and beer, I developed a hacking cough, then a few days later my voice transitioned first to Ella Fitzgerald and then Louis Armstrong. My husband (actually, now) insisted I go in when my cough started keeping him up at night and my parents didn't believe it was me on the phone. My pcp's phone and Internet was out (Verizon, figures), so I ended up back at good ol' reliable Secure Medical Care. It's nothing fancy, folks, but it IS easy, clean, amazingly fast, and next door to a Rite-Aid pharmacy. The doctor I spoke to was friendly, relaxed, and took his time (such an unfamiliar experience!), and the whole process took under a half hour even though I had no appointment. Awesome. Maybe I'll even go willingly next time!

This place is a good choice if you have a problem and would like to see a doctor quickly. There were multiple M.Ds when I went there, so there is a high probably that you will get to talk to a real doctor. Also they can provide a number of medication on-site so there is no need to go to a pharmacy, im not sure if they take insurance for the prescriptions but in the case of the item that I needed the cash price of $10 was the same as what I would pay at a pharmacy when using my insurance. I did however, see other cash prices which were higher $20-$40 range, which is higher than I have every paid for any generic medication while using prescription insurance. Apart from that there is nothing notable about this place. The doctor was nice but there was nothing remarkable about her bedside manner. Since they take my insurance I may very well go here again and will update my review if there is any more information to add. I did find the insurance information a little difficult to find on their website, so here is a link to the page that details which insurance plans they accept: http://www.securemedicalcare.com/Patient/Insurance

Waited an hour just to get vitals and I'm back in the waiting room waiting because the doctor only has 2 exam rooms. Why do they schedule so many patients if they know they can't accommodate them? I've already missed 2 hours of work and am not any closer to being seen than I was when I got here. And this place is a major improvement over the Largo location. If you want a medical plan that does not respect your time , get Kaiser. Otherwise go with something else. But I must say the staff is very nice and they understand what people are going through. For the most part the doctors spend a fair amount of time with you but I get a feeling they really don't have time to care about you in general. They take on too many patient. They are very slow to respond to email questions as well. The cost is good but you get what you pay for. My job has a very small window for open season and I missed it again. I'm stuck for another year.
