Hospital Review…read more Honestly, this was a horrible experience. I've been here for 4 hours for a fractured finger, and so far all I've received is an X-ray and my vitals taken. The wait has been extremely frustrating, especially considering I'm here because of an actual injury. The staff's attitudes have also been disappointing. I understand hospitals get busy, but basic communication and professionalism should still be there. On top of that, the waiting area was not clean, and several of the seats were visibly dirty and ripped up. Overall, the experience has been incredibly frustrating. A long wait is one thing, but the combination of the lack of communication, staff attitudes, and poor condition of the waiting area made this experience much worse. I really hope the hospital takes these concerns seriously and improves the patient experience.

Waited an hour just to get vitals and I'm back in the waiting room waiting because the doctor only has 2 exam rooms. Why do they schedule so many patients if they know they can't accommodate them? I've already missed 2 hours of work and am not any closer to being seen than I was when I got here. And this place is a major improvement over the Largo location. If you want a medical plan that does not respect your time , get Kaiser. Otherwise go with something else. But I must say the staff is very nice and they understand what people are going through. For the most part the doctors spend a fair amount of time with you but I get a feeling they really don't have time to care about you in general. They take on too many patient. They are very slow to respond to email questions as well. The cost is good but you get what you pay for. My job has a very small window for open season and I missed it again. I came in for a snake bite from a ball python initially I squeezed as much blood out of the wound…read moreas I could and then washed my hands with soap and salt water and headed to my urgent care but when I called them they recommended that I go straight to the Emergency Room for proper wound cleaning and to get treated for potential infection of the wound. I checked in there was probably about 40 people in the waiting room. Triage was like a 30m wait and then after two hours I went to grab some food when I saw they called my phone number 5 times. I came back in and was seen by the doctor she came in to clean my wound but it had already clotted during my wait so she sent my antibiotic prescription to the nearby pharmacy and called the nurse to give me a tetanus shot. The nurse gave the shot quick and painless and gave me my first antibiotic and I was out the door. 3 hours total in the ER. Not bad. The workers were friendly the nurse said I almost missed my blessing because he called me twice already. He was annoyed with my tardiness but the tetanus shot was swift and painless so he's clearly an expert. Actually siting in the waiting room was the hardest part because many people were complaining about the wait. At the 2-hr mark I started reading these yelp reviews of 8-12hr wait times and I thought well it's up to God now because I'm not staying here for 8 hours. Luckily they called my phone. Anyways, the visit was pretty good, just make sure you have a portable phone charger and a snack maybe eat before you arrive. 10/10 for the staff professionalism and the wait time not being 8-hours.

My latest placement brought me to this facility. Like many of the doctors in the area, they don't have a lab in-office, but have the basics for getting an annual physical. As a new member, I had to fill out some forms, and then the medical assistant weighed me and measured my height. In the past, I've had to face the wall for those, and this time I faced away from the wall... that's new for me! And my blood pressure was taken with one of the small machines, not one of the big ones. Is that the new trend? I always considered the big machines the 'professional' ones for the office, and the small ones were for personal use. I'm willing to bet studies showed there's no significant difference between the two. And then my EKGs got taken... seamless process. I then had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Hassan. He was very professional, open to any questions or concerns, and overall a nice guy. He sent me off to get lab work done nearby, and then I returned to discuss those results. He kept it 100% and didn't immediately want to prescribe medicine for some high numbers I have... I appreciate his expertise. For anyone in the area, I can't find a reason to recommend someone besides Dr. Hassan.

I've visited here twice this winter, once for myself and once for my daughter. The front office staff is friendly and efficient in getting you scheduled quickly and sending paperwork electronically. During my visits, it wasn't crowded so I was seen fairly quickly. Both visits, the same tests were administered and results for the more in depth tests are sent to the lab and provided within 24 hours. Overall, I only have positives to say. The place is clean, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, there's plenty of parking, and they play great music. Earth, Wind, and Fire was playing during my latest visit. I will return if I have any urgent needs in between regular appointments.

My 86 year old mother with dementia was admitted to Doctor's Hospital for a UTI. Three days after admission, her doctors told me that she also has a small bowel obstruction and would need surgery. A week after surgery a CAT scan was done because her stomach was very distended. I received a call from a PA saying the report was bad and that more surgery was recommended. She commenced to tell me "the surgeons need to be honest with you about your mother's condition and that the surgery did not work" Then went on to read the report: "Small Ileocolic aaspomotic leak remains with intramural as well as anterior abdominal wall tracking of the extra luminal contras". I immediately asked the surgeon about it and was told "don't believe them ( the PA and Radiologist). Your mom is fine". "They are making that up"...(his exact words). Needless to say, I was blown away. A short time later they discharged my mom to a rehab facility where she is unresponsive has been placed in hospice. Three days before Christmas and this is where we are. Words can't express my disappointment. There are many other inconsistencies about my mother's health from their staff. I didn't know what to believe. It is my prayer that something is done about this negligence and mismanagement of my mother's care. My mother is elderly and black and was treated like she doesn't matter. Doctor's Hospital should be held accountable for the pain and suffering they have caused my mother and my family.
