I have no respect for any doctor that changes my prescription without consulting me about the change. And I have never had to pay a $100 new patient fee!!!! What the .... And then I was sent a bill for my 10 minute visit but somehow I received another patients bill along with mine. I noticed that I was charged almost double what the other patient was charged. During my annual Sleep Doctor appt he noticed my left ankle was considerably larger than my right. He stated that's not right and you should look into that. I was able to get into my PCP in hours. I met Doctor Brett Jones MD. Great guy, great personality and ordered an MRI within minutes. Although I like Dr Dennis Little he has several associates and Dr Jones may be my new go to physician. This review is not based on my doctor in this building as I have known him for many years and he is very good at what he does. I just want to make the public aware that when it comes to a yearly check up that insurance companies usually pay for, this outfit charges "$10" to draw your blood. The lady in my benefits department at my job who I've known for many, many years, said she's never heard of such a thing. I have a chronic back issue. It flared up this week. I called one day for an appointment and got one the very next morning at 8:15 AM. My wife and I had to pay just to get an appointment with Dr Little which was a mistake. My experience with him is not great. He is only in the office 3 days a week. I called Tuesday and Thursday to request Dr Little call in a refill at Fry's and he never did. As a 23 year + liver transplant I have never ran out of any medication until now. I gave Dr Little a copy of all the medications I take upon my first appointment. As a 100% Disabled Veteran, service connected, I may try and see if I can get my healthcare at the VA again. I still am connected with the University of Utah Transplant Center. read more

I and my family have been patients for 3 years... not because they give good service more because we did not need them much during that time. However, now that my Dad does need them ... they have shut down their office visits with patients even when as is the case with my Dad he is seeping blood and pus from his legs and the refuse to see him in office. I was told by one of the receptionists that "the office staff is first before the patients and they are not going to put themselves in any kind of jeopardy to help a patient". They at the time were only doing telephonic visits with patients ... even after the doctor told my Dad he wanted and needed to view his leg within 2 weeks after that appt wherein they were still allowing patients in to the office. They cancelled the next appt. and when I reset it I was told they would see him in office and they changed it too. Reset another appt and the would do only telephonic - nothing is seen nor able to truly and safely be accomplished with telephonic ... when I pushed for an in office appt. - the literally Stood Us Up For the Telephonic appointment. And never called!! I am filing against them with the Az Medical Board. Just as the receptionist said to me they do not care about their patients only themselves... I also called Dr. DeVito and Dr Aranda... trying to get some help and they ignored my phone messages!! What the receptionist said to me is obviously true they only care about themselves. My Dad could possibly lose his leg or even his life and they could care less! If you check other complaint sites like Google they are full of complaints against this office stating much of the same issues. read more

I waited approximately 5 minutes on hold to speak to someone. When I was finally connected to a live person, I was politely told that they only accept new patients from referrals from current patients. Did that sound weird or are you unsure about what you just read? Again, I was told they only accept new patients that are friends or family of current patients. I have never heard of such a ridiculous policy. And someone else wrote in their review that they charge fifty bucks to process new patients. I had my first appointment today and every single office staff was so helpful and we're happy , and so nice. I would recommend this office to all my friends. I saw doctor Little and he was so nice and took the time to listen to my needs. He explained and answered all of my questions. First of all, this is not necessarily an indictment of the doctors Aranda and DiVito. They both seem to be very competent and friendly and we've been with them for over 10 years. However, a professional is only as good as their support staff and frankly; theirs is nothing short of horrible. Better Customer Service can be found at Walmart. Every single time we have to deal with an issue (which is almost every time we visit the office) we question why are we still using "The Doctor's Office" as our PCP's. My wife was scheduled for an annual physical on a particular day recently and when she arrived they had no record of her appointment, but she could see the doctor over a month later (nice of them). (Incidentally, my wife is borderline OCD and had the appointment noted in several locations the day it was made). Based on past experience I have no doubt the error was not my wife's. We've both waited several weeks for prescriptions to be refilled even though all they required was a phone call to the pharmacy. We've both waited several weeks for incorrect prescriptions to be corrected and sent to the pharmacy and presently I'm still waiting for a prescription to be pre-approved and sent to the pharmacy almost 4 weeks after the initial prescription was written. It's for my blood pressure, so...kinda important. I can't say for certain the issues are completely with the staff, but I'd hate to think that the doctors themselves are to blame for this complete and total lack of care, attention and service to their patients. Unfortunately, there are very few doctors taking new patients in the area, so we are all kind of over a barrel. But... if given a choice...look elsewhere. read more

Dr. Aranda is a knowledgeable and caring physician. His approach is personal and attentive. I highly recommend him and his entire office.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. William DeVito's for many years. He has helped us with a varity of ailments. Most recently Dr. DeVito performed minor surgery on and infected abscess in my upper back. He was gentle and through, and provided excellent after-care. Dr. DeVito explains conditions and, although busy, takes the time to listen. He has referred me to specialists when necessary. I couldn't be happier with him as my family doctor. read more

I called the office asking if they were accepting new patients. They explained that there is a $75.00 non-billable fee to meet a doctor in this office to become a new patient. I had never heard of this before and questioned the front desk manager when I arrive. I asked why I was here and what I was paying for. I need to find a local doctor in Prescott and agreed to pay it. A couple of months later I received an additional bill for $270. $345 out of pocket just to find a new doctor. This is extortion practices and billing. I called the office to complain and was told that this is there normal practice. I suggested that I would file a complaint with the better business bureau if I had to pay the additional $270. They responded that since I was threatening them they would "no long help me with these charges", which they have not. Beware of this business. I do not recommend this office to anyone. BTW - I wrote this same review on Google, but wanted to make sure YELP readers were aware of this doctors office business practices. read more

My two sons and I had been patients with Dr. Little and Dr. Hurley for several years when they were both working at the Urgent Care located in Prescott VAlley. When Dr. Hurley moved to The Doctors' Office in Prescott I, again, became a patient of his and have been for years. Unfortunately The Doctors' Office hired a manager named Josh to run the office and it soon became apparent that Josh didn't care about the doctor-patient relationships and focused on the "all mighty dollar". The office went downhill quickly and the new staff he hired were young, immature, rude, appeared not know what they were doing, and had a tendancy to close the glass partition and laugh and tell jokes while patients were lined up to ask the front office staff a question or check in for their doctor's appointment. Josh is very adament about writing letters to patients who he thought were late for their doctor's appointment, missed an appointment or owed money for prior doctor's visits. The letters he sent to patients were threateneing and rude and when I brought the letters I had received to Dr. Hurley and Dr. Little's attention they both told me to disregard Josh's letters. Ever since I brought Josh's letters to the doctors attention Josh seemed to have it out for me. The billing department also went downhill as they would send me invoices stating I owed them money for prior doctor's visits when, in fact, I always paid for each doctor's visit the day of the visit. I would attempt to contact the billing department to straighten out the misnderstanding and I would always get a voice recording to leave a message, which I did on several occassions, but my messages were never returned. I would then show up for a doctor's appointment and the front office staff would give me an invoice and tell me i can't see the doctor until I paid the money i owed for my previous office visits. I would then try to explain to the staff that I didn't owe any money for prior office visits and the staff members would close the glass partition, walk away from the front office and later show up with Josh. Josh would tell me that I couldn't see the doctor until I paid the money i owed for the prior office visits. I, again, had to explain that I didn't owe any money for my prior office visits as I paid my co-payment each time I had a doctor's appointent. Josh would then look at my account in the computer, sometimes he would call billing to verify what I owed , and eventually realize I didn't owe any money. Josh would then write a note on the invoice and hand it to me and walk away. He never apologized for the misunderstanding and in his arrogant manner seemed to be upset becuse he was wrong or because he was waisting time dealing with a patient when he could be doing other things. I since have found another doctor to see who doesn't know my health history like Dr. Hurley and Dr. Little did, but I'm glad I don't have to deal with Josh and his threatening letters and arrogant attitude, the immature office staff and the billing department who doesn't appear to know what they're doing. i know I'm not the only patient who has had to deal with the negative changes made at The Doctors' Office, and it's very unfortunate as there are excellent doctors who work there. Hopefully someday someone will realize that the doctor-patient relationship has to return in order to have a successful business and patients deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. read more
