This is the easiest review I have ever done. Let me just say I was super worried on finding a place for my 2 puppies to board. I didn't know how they would do. I was worried they would be traumatized. After seeing some posts about this place in yelp and next door. I called and booked boarding for my dogs for 5 nights. Let's say when we met Christine all my worries went out the window. She was so sweet and I was at ease right away. I saw where they were staying and it was nice, bright, clean, cheerful, open, and SUPER CUTE. I have 2 dogs with opposite personalities. My male pup is a social butterfly so he was full throttle meeting her and all his boarding neighbors. My female pup is reserved and shy. Let me say by the next day she was at home and loving on Christine. Once my husband and I saw the video she sent us we knew we had chosen the right place. My girl dog was greeting her as if she was family. She remembered all the things I noted on my reservation documents so she definitely takes the time to ensure she is prepared to make sure your dogs will be treated as if they were home. We will never have hesitation on having our dogs stay here again. Now we can book our trips knowing the doggies will have a nice place to stay if we can't take them with us. She does daycare as well. Recently my husband and I took off out of town for a few days. My father in law recommended me to Christine's dog amore castle. He has been using her for a while. I met with Christine in person and she got to meet my two small Yorkies a few days before I left town. I am so happy that we all got to meet before i left the dogs with her. I told her everything about my dogs personalities, feeding and bedtime schedules. Everyday she makes homemade dog treats and takes the dogs out for walks! That was a plus for me! She was so kind to keep me up to date on how my dogs were doing and she sent lots of photos and videos. Christine and her doggy daycare castle were highly recommended to me by a trusted friend. Although there are many dog hotels, I could see that Christine takes care of dogs out of a genuine love for them. She is not a large hotel with many dogs in small cages, she gives individualized care to each one at a very affordable price! I am so happy to write this review. I recently went on a trip to Scotland and was very worried about finding a boarding place for my dog. My dog is a little high maintenance and has extremely bad separation anxiety. The minute that I toured Dog Amore and met Christine, I knew this would be the perfect place for him. Christine is so genuine and you know she really does this because she loves animals. She treated my pup with so much love and care, I genuinely cannot thank her enough. She soothes him when his anxiety went up, played with him and gave him all the attention he really needed while I was gone. Her boarding area is so well decorated, clean, and welcoming. This was the first time leaving my fur child while I went away for 7 days. Naturally, I started a full Yelp search for the best place to board Duke while I would be away. I compared pictures, ratings, looked at all the websites and sent messages to the businesses. Dog Amore Castle was one of the first ones to reply back so quickly. Christine, the owner, was very sweet and even offered one free day since Duke was going to be staying more than 5 days. I thought this was awesome. Who doesn't like a good deal? Christine suggested I bring Duke by to introduce him to the new space and to her so the day of drop off would run smooth (and it did!) Initially I was so worried about leaving Duke in a whole new place for so long. But Christine did an excellent job explaining everything she would be doing and the attention she'd be giving our pup. While I was away, she sent lots of pics of Duke which eased my worries and made me feel comfortable with him being away. When I picked him up, she gave me an update on how he did and he was one happy pup! Christine did an awesome job and I'm so glad I chose her over one of the bigger pet boarding places. I read all of the reviews about Dog Amore Castle, thinking the comments of those reviews came from people who knew Christine and wanted to support her. I'm not one of those people. I have a little poodle mix rescue dog with emotional issues. In the past five years, we have never been apart. I needed to go out of town and could not take her. I searched online for a place to board my dog and found Christine and Dog Amore' Castle. Of course I took the time to call and inquire about boarding. I was impressed by her attention to detail regarding Willow (my little girl) and how she would be treated. I made a reservation and, on the day I dropped Willow off, I realized that I had made a correct decision. The facility was clean and offered plenty of room and companionship from other dogs (without having to join a pack). Willow immediately took to Christine and didn't look back when we left. We got daily messages of progress/status and pictures as well. I will be leaving Willow at the castle in the future, in spite of the extra travel for me. I highly recommend Christine and Dog Amore' Castle as a special place to leave your special family member. It's more like a "hotel" than a boarding kennel. read more
