I figured I'd give this place a try. The grooming process seemed reasonable too. It took about 2 hours and my fur baby was all done. They were quick really. Haircut came out cute! They gave her a pin and bandanna. I'm happy with the results of this groomer. I see why they have good reviews. My Pomeranian looks good and she smelled super nice afterwards too! It's outdoors now, and the misting system isn't very strong. It wasn't very cooling, and the dogs are all outdoors. The outdoor area used to be huge - divided into only two sections (large and small dogs) - and now it's all fenced off into multiple sections, and the dog area is much smaller for both sizes. They don't have the run of the land anymore. There's a small house in the back that dogs could go in and out of freely, but it's not used that way anymore. Dogs can't just go inside whenever they want. My dog did spend a day there, but I don't think I'll go back. It's way too hot to subject my dog to this weather.

On the day we picked him up, I messaged her to let her know when we would arrive to pick up Snapdragon, and the account responded with Diamond Oaks Ranch's contact information. A few days later, she contacted me asking, "how is the pup," requested pictures of him, and described him as "a very sweet pup." I am disappointed that rather than acknowledging our experience, the response has been to deny that we purchased our dog from them at all. I am posting the contemporaneous messages so prospective buyers can see the documentation and draw their own conclusions.

I love that this is a home based day care that has more than enough space for the pups to run. Kathryn, her brother, and her husband are EXCEPTIONAL. I first used them when I went to Thailand for 2 weeks and again when I went to Hawaii for a week. The pups had not been there in a year and KNEW where they were going and were ecstatic when we turned into their street. My golden has a lot of health issues and her medication regime has never an issue. My malamute mix has anxiety and can sometimes mount, and again never an issue. He's also not very trusting so the fact that he is happy is so reassuring. I LOVE that Kathryn will send me videos and pictures of my babies next to her human baby coexisting. It really is family owned. I rather make the 1-2hr drive and take them here than go anywhere else. I can go on vacation and have peace of mind that my babies are not just being taken cared of but also being loved on. Don't look further, bring your fur babies here!
