Sadly, we learned that the groomer takes Tuesdays off, so that was a huge disappointment. Today, I called to ensure that a groomer was there. We're in luck, a groomer is there today. However, said groomer started peppering me with questions: What kind of dog do you have? Have you been here before? How much do they weigh? How old are they? On the flier they have at the groomer's desk, there are no caveats or exceptions to the offer for services. In fact, it even states: Cheers to A LA Carte Classica." When I mentioned that our Coco was 11 years old, the groomer said they were kinda busy and didn't really like to take older dogs. What? Or you kidding me? Perhaps Petco Management should counsel the groomer about customer service, or if this indeed the policy about age restrictions, include it on the flier or discontinue weekday walk-in services.

I brought my cat in for surgery and was given an estimate of around $900. Based on that estimate, I signed the paperwork so they could move forward. After the surgery was done, I was suddenly presented with a bill for over $3,000. At no point before the procedure or during the surgery did anyone tell me the cost was going to increase anywhere close to that amount. There was no phone call, no update, and no attempt to get my approval for these additional charges. The only time they communicated clearly was when they wanted payment. When I explained that my budget was $2,000 and that the final bill was far beyond what I had agreed to, instead of trying to work with me or explain things in a professional way, they threatened to call the police. After the fact, they tried to hide behind a tiny line in the paperwork saying the final price could vary depending on the actual procedure. That was never properly explained before surgery, and it certainly does not justify charging more than three times the original estimate without any real communication. This felt incredibly misleading, predatory, and unprofessional. When people bring their pets in for surgery, they are already stressed and vulnerable. A clinic should be transparent about costs, communicate clearly about major changes, and get approval before adding thousands of dollars in charges. If you care about honesty, transparency, and basic respect as a customer, stay away from this place. Absolutely do not recommend.

I was always part of my cat's appointment, and taken back to the room with her. My last (and LAST means last for sure) visit to get my cat's claws trimmed the tech came out took my cat away and got snippy when I started to follow saying there was no need for me to come back. The trim was ragged, and I got scolded by a technician in her 20s. They used to be so amazing...but the new folks who have taken over are horrible and not cat friendly.

I've known about Paw Joggers for awhile, but they didn't service Mt. Adams. They've since added on a new "jogger" who is able to service my neighborhood. Paw Joggers is owned by a lovely woman named Billie, whose husband is a Cincinnati K9 officer! Billie and her team are super reliable and professional. After initially contacting them, they'll come to your house for a free Meet & Greet so they can meet your dog(s), go through paperwork and learn about your residence (keys, breaker box location, anything else they might need to know). You can either use the online scheduling tool or email Billie to request service. My walker uses a smartphone app called "Run Keeper" that will send me an email when she's done walking my dogs and shows me a map of the walk or job, the time, distance, average pace, etc. She also will text me a picture of my pups, and give me the details on their walk (#1s and #2 reports). If you are lucky, they might even post pictures of your dog on their Facebook page, which is always fun to see. Basically, I love them, they love my dogs and they provide me with excellent service. What more could I ask for?
