We met Jennifer while she was helping foster a cat we wanted to adopt. Several months later when we…read moreadopted our dog and discovered his nearly debilitating separation anxiety, we asked her for help. She came to our home and helped train him in some basic commands (turns out you *can* teach an old dog new tricks), as well as training us to recognize signs of stress in him and helping us cope with his anxiety. My fiancée had never had a dog before, and even when it looked like we would have to return Tank to the rescue, Jennifer reassured us that things just take time. Finally, through a combination of training with Jennifer and some puppy Prozac (also at Jennifer's suggestion), Tank is a happy, healthy, well-adjusted dog. Also, when we adopted a second cat who did NOT get along with the first cat, Jennifer taught us how to give both cats enough reassurance and sense of safety to make them comfortable with each other. As I write this they're playing together and chasing each other up and down the hall (for such small cats they make a LOT of noise). All of this is to say that without Jennifer we would not be the family that we are. She brought us our first cat, helped us rescue and rehabilitate our dog, and made sure our second cat was safe in our home. We are very grateful to her and would 100% recommend her business to anyone in need of assistance with any pet related issues. She has always been there for us to answer questions or offer support and we can't thank her enough.

Jennifer/ L'Chaim Canine Dog Training is top notch. I recommend Jennifer to anyone with dogs or…read morecats. Jennifer has helped me integrate a new dog into my pack and gave each of the 5 dogs individualized attention and assessments. She recommended books for me to read to augment my training sessions with her. Jennifer has a keen intuition for the needs of dog and owner and the education to implement the techniques to meet the needs of both. Strongly recommend.

I have had 1 interaction with this person and it's enough for me…read more I replied to an ad on Craigslist about a dog for sale. I thought about it for a week and when the girl from the ad contacted me again I decided to give the dog a try. The girl stated that her mom had the dog at the dog park and that she would get him and meet me. Two hours later she showed up. The girl begged that if the dog did not work out she wanted him back. My existing dog was not a fan and it was creating problems. The dog also got free one day and chased every kid and animal in sight and also chased the mailman. I have video. When I contacted the girl and let her know that it wasn't working out she offered to take the dog back. She stated that she would come in the morning. She did not. By afternoon I messaged her again. She had her notifications silenced. A few hours later I told her where to go. At 11:30 p.m that night I got a call (I was asleep) from a lady named Daphiney who said that she was the girls mother. She stated that she only called that late because she knew that the dog could be belligerent and bark all night. He was not. I believe that it was an attempt to intimidate me. I saved the voicemail and transcript. The next morning I decided to Google her number which brought me to her site where I discovered pictures of the same dog from back in July. I'm not sure what is really happening with these two but I now understand why it took the girl so long to go get the dog from her mother. The girl was in Canton but her mom was in Akron where she lives and apparently runs some sort of training business. I posted the dog back up for sale but then realized that he really just needed stability and not to be passed around. He needs a lot of work that wasn't getting done before. I'll do it myself. If you do business with this lady and it doesn't go well just know that she is not opposed to calling you in the middle of the night.
