The owner didn't care sent me a note 7 days later and put the disclaimer in my face. She sent me the disclaimer that I signed and said this can happen if a dog goes longer than 6 to 8 weeks without a haircut this is unacceptable. It's one thing to make a mistake, but it's another one not to admit it. Thank you for your delayed response. 1.) She did not have any issues before her grooming appointment. 2.) Vet sheet attached. They said she has wounds from being buzzed in two places under her butt and tail. As we knew. Her tail $ butt was red, inflamed, chunks out of her skin and miserable all week. They said her glands were also irritated from it and expressed them while we were there. 3.) She now has: Some medicated wipes B. A prescription cream C. two pain & inflammation pill prescriptions : Gabapentin & Carprifen for cuts on her bottom & under her tail. 4.) She has stayed in her kennel without wanting to come out for 6 days. 5.) For the last 7 days she has been shaking, twitching, sleeping and not wanting to see any of our family members and needs help eating & drinking. I'd watch the part of the tape when they are grooming her underside, butt & tail. She is red, raw under there and goes bananas when we apply the cream to the wounds. They didn't let me watch the tape, nor care if I brought her in to show them. "No comments." If you'd like me to bring her in to further show you, I'd be happy to. This definitely happened at Shaggy Chic by her groomer(s). Please refund our visit. This is unacceptable. Or pay our vet bill, reimbursed to us. $123

Always did a fantastic job, especially Allie. Our old boy, typical cocker issues. We wondered why they haven't come to groom him, he's really shaggy. Finally got text, Thurs at 10. This Thurs!!! Just got a text, sorry, we can't do it Thursday. No follow-up day? No nothing. He is having surgery on Friday. So another month of not being groomed. The original owner Denise wouldn't be happy . I have recommended this company for years. I take it back. The new owner used to groom our pup. Obviously could care less, now . Lots of other mobile groomers and time to look elsewhere. And find a reliable Groomer. Which Denise's isn't.

I've heard nothing but good things about Bark Ave. so I had my now husband reach out to them. Chloe (my pup) received a package in the mail from them with puppy treats, a toy, and other miscellaneous items. I knew from their interest in her that we had to board her there for the night. Fast forward to July 22, I was super worried about how she would be in a new environment since she is a puppy and she gets anxiety around new people and not being by/with her "mom". That night I received a report card with a cute little picture of her and it had no negatives about her; she even made friends with two other pups- Annie and Tator! When we picked her up she was super happy and the staff working enjoyed playing with her. We paid a little extra so she could have 1:1 play time and be let out more often since we are working on potty training. In all, I definitely recommend this place and I will reach out to them again if we ever need to board Chloe overnight for whatever reason.

We received the complimentary picture in a text noting he was enjoying his time outside in the sunny weather. Drop off and pick up was efficient. The report card is a nice touch. It would have been nice to know the schedule of when the campers would be outside to see them on camera instead of randomly catching action on the live feed, but not a big deal.
