We made our reservation and booked our trip to receive a phone call days later saying they won't take our dog because she is 14 almost 15 and they don't take elderly dogs during their busy season. Now we have a spring break trip booked and no one to watch our dog. The person we booked with should have been knowledgeable enough to tell us then before we booked non refundable tickets. Doggie Days has been a LIFE CHANGER for me and my Parker Jo. Since attending daycare on a regular basis, Parker has blossomed from a timid/anti social dog to a fun-loving girl who can't wait to see her doggie days friends every day. The staff is incredibly patient, thoughtful, and considerate of Parker's timid personality and is selective with her playmates as a result. My partner and I are pretty picky about who we leave our dog with while we travel! We originally just left our pup with doggie days for the occasional daycare and socialization every once in a while, but decided to use them for the daycare-boarding option as well! I am a very protective dog mom and wanted my pup to be comfortable and well taken care of and Doggie Days does a great job! Willow (my pup) is always very happy to be dropped off and will almost all but drag us inside to see all of her two and four legged friends! I once picked Willow up from daycare and noticed that she had a limp and found a small abrasion like cut on her paw pad. I emailed the staff and they responded in a very professional manner and assured me that they would check all the runs for sharp objects and apologized deeply. Sometimes pups just get booboos while playing with their friends outside. Humans do as well! I was happy with the way they handled the situation. My wife and I are typical "crazy dog people." We pamper our dogs and are picky about who takes care of them when we travel. Doggie days is the only place that we trust our pups. Dogs need to be socialized and need to exercise. Doggie days is the place for dogs to get both. My young dogs come home ready to relax and as they say, "A tired dog is a well behaved dog." Note to owners of playful dogs: expect them to have a playful experience there. This means if you ask the staff to let your dog play, your dog may end up with nicks or bumps similar to what they'd experience when playing in a dog park. To owners with dogs requiring special attention: Give their staff detailed, written instructions and they will follow those instructions because they care about the dogs in their care. Doggie Days in Pendergrass is a wonderful gem in Georgia. We've been boarding our Labradoodle here for the past year on a regular basis as well as bringing him to daycare twice a week. The anxiety issues that can be so common with poodle breeds has diminished tremendously as a result of the care and love he receives each and every time he's at Doggie Days. We had an awful boarding experience with our sweet rescue Bull Terrier, Ruby. We boarded her from Saturday morning until Monday morning with Doggie Days in Pendergrass, GA. While in their care she received a scratch above her right eye, has a sore at the corner of her right eye, and has sores on the left side of her face that spread from her eye down to her lips. My husband's cell, my cell, nor our emergency contact received any notification or "heads up" that Ruby was hurt. My husband had to point out to the owner the scratch and sores on Ruby's face. Also, we did not sign up to have her bathed before we brought her home, but the owner insisted on bathing Ruby before releasing her. The owner had just bathed her and said nothing about the cuts and sores! This facility advertises that boarded pets are walked for potty and play between 6 and 10 times per day but they didn't even notice her face? When asked at pick up what happened to our dog the owner informed us that she was not there over the weekend, that the people that worked the weekend would return on Tuesday, and that she would talk to them and call us back. By Tuesday afternoon neither my husband nor myself had received a return call. When I followed up for an explanation as to what happened to Ruby the person answering said that she had worked over the weekend and "literally all [she] could think of was when returning Ruby to her crate that Ruby would try to get out. [They] tried getting her in there as gently as they could but Ruby was so focused on getting back out and would try and push her head out the gate as [they] were closing it." She also mentioned that Ruby would try and charge the other crates so she had to be leash walked out and leash walked in. All of this sounds like pretty normal activity in dog boarding. Look, I understand that things can happen during boarding. What I do not understand is how that leads to these markings on her and furthermore that you don't notice these marks when you are putting her in the kennel, putting a leash on her, playing with her outside, and then finally when bathing her. This should have been noticed, and it should have been brought to our attention in a phone call and pointed out to US at pick up. Not the other way around. All of this adds up to give me an awful feeling in my gut and breaks my heart. I paid this company to keep her safe while we were out of town and instead what I paid for was an unsafe and inattentive environment. read more

I have had my dogs groomed at Doggie Days for many years. The last few visits have not lived up to their previous reputation. My last visit a gentleman groomed them and did not do a good job. I always tip well, so it's disappointing when they don't do all that they are supposed to. Most recently one of my dogs started limping a week or so after his groom, and I looked at his toe nails because this same situation happened before on my other dog. Well again his nails had not been clipped. His nail was going into the pad of his foot. Even though I clipped his nails myself he is still tender on that paw. Several times they have neglected to clean the hair out of my dogs ears. You would think they would have a check list to ensure everything was done. Also, lately every time I come in they never have the same groomer. I had reservations leaving my boys the last time, usually they don't want to leave... but last time something was off... I don't think I will be back, until so stability comes back in the grooming department. read more

This place is dirty and nasty. The windows are disgusting and flies are everywhere. My dog got sick and even refused to set foot back in the building. There are flies everywhere and the staff acting like you are bothering them if you ask a question. The owner seems nice but it is not even comparable to Winding Creek kennels which is right up the road. read more
