I ran into a family emergency this morning and had to cancel an appointment for my dog and received the nastiest customer service because of it. That just goes to show you which companies only care about the $$$. There have been times in the past where I'll drop my dog off around 10 am, and he's not ready until almost 6 pm. I've never once complained about that either! If that's the case, what's the point of a scheduled appointment? When I reached out to Pedigree, they were so nasty and unpleasant because of the emergency and couldn't accommodate me. We're still in the middle of a pandemic, and emergencies happen. The lack of empathy shown to me, a customer giving my money to this establishment for over a year, was/is heartbreaking. While I understand that me having to cancel now put them at a loss for a grooming session today, I was willing to make it up by simply rescheduling for ANY day that worked on their end. Instead, I'm subjected to a cancellation fee. Maybe I should've given them a few for "if you have scheduled slots for grooming, why does it take a whole workday to get my dog groomed?" But no... Also, per the owners response to me (and others), she's combative. The business overall lacks accountability and professionalism. Never once did I yell to the receptionist but only asked her q's and let her know I would no longer be coming back. Also, the emergency was not my son not able to come w me. I also only asked about Saturday but mentioned I was okay with waiting weeks out because of my cancellation instead; I was hung up! As mentioned in my review, I've been here many times, and he's always joined because you guys provide curbside pickup. I will continue to advocate for small businesses, but I cannot when they are like this.

But Becky handled all three of our male Siberians with absolute professionalism and care. My poodle Nutmeg was a behavioral horror at the vet's office and during grooming appointments-- so much so that a groomer we used prior to Janet refused our business! My ten-pound dog, so good-natured at home, required three vet techs to be weighed at the vet office! Janet proved to be a wonder, though. She invited us into her mobile grooming truck on her first visit to observe her grooming practices. From that first visit, she proved herself to be incredibly patient, empathetic, and most importantly, highly skilled in ways to manage animal behavior. After observing her interactions with my pet, I felt confident that she would ensure my dog was safe, calm, and well-groomed. As I write this review, Nutmeg has recently passed away. Upon learning of Nutmeg's passing, Janet drove out of her way to deliver flowers to my home. Clearly, she develops close connections with her clients and treats them like family!
