Sadly this isn't a very good shop anymore. Very poor communication and customer service skills. Grooming is ok but not great. An overnight price increase means they cost as much as the fancy places, or anyplace else. Used to be a very nice economical place. Now it's pricey and not very good. I love this place they take such good care of my dogs. I have a little Shih Tzu who is like a grouchy old man every time they see him they know just how to handle him. They talk to him and give him love until they soften him up. I also love the packages that they have, which includes pictures during the different seasons. I took my dog in to get her nails trimed like i've done several times before. All I was there for was a nails trim. When they brought her out to me i noticed something was different couldn't figure it out at the moment. We went to the dog park. I finally noticed..... with no permission they shaved her nose hair. Owner said that it was a courtesy. As a courtesy wouldn't you ask the owner of the animal for permission... NO... THIS LADY TOOK IT UPON HERSELF TO SHAVE MY DOG. Who has NEVER BEEN shaved before. Never going back. I asked for short hair and the lady basically shaved it all off because she was in a hurry. His hair is uneven, with high and low spots. She seemed overwhelmed or having a bad day. The only good thing was the price but honestly I think she knew she did a rush job. read more

They do such a good job. I have a cocker spaniel and they charge $45. He is usually there for about 3 hours, and it shows. They are very precise w/ the cut. I highly recommend them. read more

We are on the road in our Airstream and our pup needed a shampooing. I found this groomer based a on other Yelp reviews. I have not been disappointed. In fact, we've gone twice now. We're in Florida for another couple of weeks so we might take our pup once more before we leave. Great service and great prices. Doggone beautiful place is hit or miss. I had not taken my dog there in a while and decided to give it a shot again. First time was mini groom and no cut, he came back just how I like him and no issues. Second time was today, I specifically asked NOT to cut his hair too short, he's a Bichon, they are fluffy and not shaved down...had I known they were going to do this and rush I wouldn't have taken him. The cut was $42 AND I tipped. I didn't complain because there's nothing that could be done to fix it anymore. He wasn't matted, so I don't feel they needed to cut him down so much. It takes too long to grow it out. He was the last dog there, and I felt like they were just trying to rush and finish before they closed. So sad, this happened. read more

I'm very upset with the haircut my dog received. I haven't had bad experiences with just a wash and blow dry and this was the first time my dog has got a full haircut. I have a poodle and requested for a lamb cut, I knew she had a few tangled and mats before hand and let them know, her coat was a couple months grown out. Maybe it was a miscommunication but I didn't get any signs that she wouldn't be able to do it cause of the tangles. The front of her chest was completely buzzed and the front legs as well, the cut was very choppy. If it couldn't have been done properly I feel that should've been communicated. Instead I was surprised with what she looked like after. I've never had a lamb cut on my dog that looked like this. I will say they are very sweet people and we're professional about the situation. Only was there twice so far but both times have been great service for our baby. Got he nails done each time. In the past anywhere else we took her she hated it and the staff were not that great, but here she had no problem and it was quick and great friendly staff with a very good price. Our two Poms are dressed to kill after Margaret and her staff have bathed them. They look amazing and smell like a million bucks. In all honesty, you could try a lot of groomers but these folks are by far the best. We travel 4 hours back and forth twice (drop off and pick up ) half a days affair but it's so worth it. Must be a secret scrubbing recipe !! :) They even get custom made bandenas....you'll hang on to them all. Just go there and try them out....say hi to Margaret and after one bath or grooming you'll be hooked to this parlor because your fido will most definitely be a dog completely gone beautiful! :) Cheers. read more

I took my dog in to get a groom and wash. I was greeted warmly when I arrived and given a cost up front. They introduced me to the lady that would be taking care of my dogs needs that day and was given an accurate time of completion. Upon arrival to pick my dog up I again was greeted warmly and my dog was promptly returned to me as I was paying my bill. The grooming was excellent, my dog smelled and looked wonderful. Her nails were clipped, her hair was cut nicely and she even had a scent on her that was pleasant and lasted a few days. I believe I've found my dogs salon. read more

BAD SERVICE Today I took my dog . I took them here because since I had a pleasant experienced. Today was horrendous. I had to wait for FIVE HOURS for them to have a regular trim. I took them at eleven and I picked them up at four thats FIVE hours. read more

I have been bringing my dog here since he was a puppy. He is a wire coat mix and we let him get real shaggy in between groomings. He leaves Doggone Beautiful looking like a new dog. They do everything out in the open so you can see your dog. They use a special perfume that they use which makes your dog smell like a million bucks. They also sell it there and which I've bought and used on my black lab. Now he smells fresh as a daisy too. The prices are great! I will continue to bring my dog here even after I move an hour away up to winter springs. read more

Absolutely AWFUL! The building is shady from the get go. Made an appointment for 12:30pm and my dog wasent finished till well over four hours later. When I came to check in 3 hours to see what was the deal my dog hadn't been touched and she was in a cage. They finished her an hour and half later and it was a complete hack job. My 5 month old shih Tzu puppy was shaved to the skin! And to top if off they cut her ears! Theres cuts and pus in her ear a day after taking her to the groomers. It breaks my heart hearing her in pain because of her ears, and boils my blood that I ever too her to that dump. NEVER WILL I EVER RECCOMEND THIS PLACE. and I will be showing up tomorrow to demand a refund and be sure to let everyone know of the horrible service and treatment of my animal. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR ANIMAL PAIN, DONT GO HERE!!!!! Unfortunately I had to give them a rating, they don't deserve anything. read more
