Excellent service. My pup was in much need of a haircut. It had been a while since we recently moved from southern CA. Service was excellent, everyone was super friendly, especially Shawn. Only reason I gave four out of five stars was because of the pricing. I paid about 20 bucks more than I'm used to but then again when I was calling around for pricing, the places I spoke with were in this price range. So maybe it's just the area? Anyways, if I can't find anything cheaper next time, then I will for sure be bringing my dog here again. Great customer service always goes a long way. read more

My pup was way overdue for a nail trimming and a cut due to everyone being closed during covid. Doggy daze was booked out for weeks for a haircut but was able to get us in for nail trimming, wash, and face & butt trim. My dog who is normally terrified of strangers did great and came out looking amazing especially considering he just got a wash and face trim! Yes, I've been taking my dog a Bichon there for quite a while. Experience was good at first. Then she was groom two weeks ago and her left hind leg was limping. And cut one of her toenails so short that she couldn't walk on that foot. It's still taking a while to get back to normal but she is still limping. My wife went in to tell them about what happened and they were like so so about it and there was no apology so that's it. read more

This used to be the best business with owners who really cared and reliable groomers. Since the ownership change, the cuts have been unreliable. One time, our dog's long hair wasn't even cut, just washed and blown out. The owner apologized, said that groomer wasn't employed any longer, and squeezed us in a few days later. Next cut, he came home with really short hair on his head and long hair on his body but they said they couldn't fix it. Against my better judgement, I went back again with my 16 year old pup who never went anywhere else that week, and he contacted respiratory illness and died. They kept sending me messages about my next grooming appointment so I called and told the man who answered what happened. He never even said he was sorry for my loss. He said the owner would call me but they never did. This also made me realize that the new owners never ask for proof of vaccinations and they let the dogs all play together. read more

BEST PLACE FOR STUBBORN DOGS: Our corgi/German shepherd HATES getting her nails trimmed so when we found this place we were worried it would be like other places we've taken her too. She needed her nails done and a serious bath. I called ahead of time to see if we needed an appointment and they told me to just come on by. The staff was welcoming and so nice. We warned them that she might wiggle around and fight them when it came to her nails and we were told to not worry at all and that they deal with those kinds of dogs every day. They told us it would be about an hour and to run errands if we needed too. We got a call an hour later and went to pick her up. She smells amazing now, ears are cleaned and her nails are the PERFECT length. We will definitely be going back! read more

My little Maltese-mix was so hot and grungy, so I needed a caring crew who would trim her up so she could better deal with the Arizona heat. Everyone was so friendly and helpful here. John and Dallas and Trever didn't bat an eye when I expressed my concern for my older dog who tends to get anxious when she's in new places. They seemed to really care and Dallas took a lot of time with us. I'm told he took her through the entire process of bath to cut, rather than passing her around to a lot of different strangers. That meant a lot to me. Trever gave me some great advice on how to help my dog acclimate to the climate here. All told, she seemed pretty unfazed when I picked her up - anxious and excited, yes, but not stressed out! This will hopefully become our regular spot for spiffying up on a regular basis. I found this place while going to the Starbucks in the same plaza. I have been taking my dog Jazmine there for almost a year and they have always treated her well. She is an older dog with arthritis and other things that come along with being older but they always treat her with care. Totally recommend. I take my dog there every 4-6 weeks. I went here about two weeks ago. My dog Marshmallow is quite unruly and doesn't like getting haircuts. I sometimes have to do it myself. When he does get haircuts it's not that great of a job. I have a specific way I like his overall body and face trimmed. However, Doggy Daze went above and beyond and did exactly what I wanted. I showed them a reference picture and they groomed my fur baby perfectly. Their shop is fully stocked with HEALTHY dog food and treats. I definitely recommend them. read more

First of all, Doggy Daze is under new ownership and not at all like the old Doggy Daze where is Sean made every animal feel like they were the best thing on the planet. I was the biggest fan of the old Doggy Daze, and would recommend them to everyone, but that is not the case anymore. I would not recommend this place for any dog ever. When you walk in, they take the dog and tell you two hours, and then after two hours when you come back they say, oh sorry we're short help and it will be two more hours. This is the second time that has happened to me. The groomers Are definitely not the caliber of what they used to be under the old ownership. Been coming here for almost 3 years with my pugs and have never had a bad experience. The owner is awesome and the staff is super welcoming.

Since ownership has changed, quality has gone down drastically. I should not have gone back after they let one of my dogs escape from the back (and didn't even realize it). A couple months later I took two of my dogs in just for baths and nail trims. After 2.5 hours they advised they were done. When I arrived, I still had to wait another 20 minutes. In addition, they didn't trim either of my dogs nails and my white dog still had visible dirt on her head and back (that she had when I dropped her off). Not worth it. read more

I took my 1 yr old Standard Poodle Oliver into Doggy Days for a grooming on 9/5/17. When I returned 2.5 hours later the inside of his ears were maimed and razor burned. Oliver cried for 3 days, as his ears healed. Eventually, they scabbed over :( The day after this incident I called the owner Sean and he told me it was normal and likened it to a teenager who just started shaving and gets razor burn - Really? I would imagine when you use a razor that has gotten overheated you would not apply it directly to the underside of a sensitive, soft, pink ear? After a week I went into the store to show the co-owner the aftermath of their unconsciousness, unawareness and he defended their groomer and it felt like they did take responsibility for their neglect. I ask for a full refund $90.00, which he gave me. However, I did not feel heard, just quickly rushed out of the store so I would not bring any unwanted awareness to other patrons dropping off their fur babies. Be aware, and I am sure this is not normal. But, it happened and I will never return or refer anyone. So Sad. read more

I love taking my Rottie here to get her nails clip. It's such a big deal because since we got her as a puppy I was always nervous for her and had gone to at least 4 different places. one where they actually tied her and put a muzzle on her.
