The person on the phone couldn't give her a appointment without speaking to the owner and said a she would call my mother back. My mother never received a call back, it was very disappointing. I give five stars to Cody the groomer, but calling for a appointment. I would give two stars for their front desk customer service.

Cannonball is my wild black Goldendoodle puppy and Duchess is my 11 year old girl who has been through a lot and doesn't trust easily. Watching her walk willingly into the salon with Sarah almost made me cry. If you knew this dog you'd completely understand what that moment meant. She even trusted Dave! Which is saying something bc Duchess isn't the biggest fan of men. This was only Cannon's second visit and Kassie got down on the floor to greet him. He climbed right into her lap. He looks absolutely incredible and we can't go anywhere without people stopping us. Cannon is my first dog that needs real grooming and I had so much to learn. Between Dave, Sarah Kassie and the whole team I've walked out knowing more every single time. Coats, brushing, shampoos, home care. They just give that knowledge freely. What Sarah and Dave have built here is genuinely something special. The entire team is trained in pet CPR and knows risks most groomers have never even heard of -- like heat stroke from blow dryers. No kennels, no crates, spotless shop, amazing atmosphere. They even have self wash stations for bath days or dogs that don't need a full groom. These are my kids. I don't trust them with just anyone. I trust them here.

She did a terrific job and besides my dog looking great, she is no longer a magnet for dirt, sand and burrs... we went to 2 different beaches today, and then a trail hike and what a difference.. so easy now with her hair much shorter.. They also don't coerce you or make you believe you need them, I really appreciate that! This vet has always been clean, accommodating and very caring. From the person who answers the phone, to the veterinary technicians, to the doctors and everyone working behind the scenes, every member of this team goes above and beyond. You can tell that this is not simply a job to them. They genuinely love animals, they genuinely care about their patients, and they genuinely care about the people who love those patients. Recently, we experienced an emergency with one of our dogs that showed us just how exceptional this team truly is. Our dog had initially been seen at a local emergency hospital and was unfortunately misdiagnosed. We aren't upset with that business, and we understand how challenging emergency pet medicine can be. When we brought our dog to Beach Cities, Dr. O'Hara for a second opinion, he and his team immediately recognized that something was not right. Rather than simply accepting the previous diagnosis, they asked questions and listened, investigated, questioned what they were seeing, and pushed us in a different direction. There is no doubt in my mind that their urgency, immediacy, experience, intuition, and willingness to advocate for our dog ultimately saved our dog's life. That is something we will never forget. When you are scared, overwhelmed, and desperately worried about your pet, you need a veterinary team that will not only treat your animal, but will truly listen, think critically, communicate clearly, and fight for the best possible outcome. That is exactly what Dr. O'Hara and his team did for us. They didn't dismiss our concerns. They didn't take the easy route. They kept pushing until they got to the right answer, and because of that, our dog is alive today. That level of dedication is extraordinary. Every interaction we have had with Beach Cities has been characterized by kindness, empathy, patience, professionalism, and an incredible level of attention to detail. They take the time to explain what is happening, answer questions, listen to concerns, and make you feel like your pet matters to them as much as they matter to you. There is a tremendous amount of compassion in the way they approach their work. And while the quality of medical care is obviously the most important thing, the environment they have created is equally impressive. The facility is beautiful, new, spotless, exceptionally clean, sterile, modern, and state-of-the-art. Yet despite being such an impressive facility, it never feels cold or clinical. The people who work there make it warm, comforting, welcoming, and inviting. They create an environment where both the animals and their owners can feel safe. What stands out most, though, is the people. You can walk into a veterinary hospital with a beautiful facility and the latest equipment, but none of that matters if the people don't care. At Beach Cities, the people are what make the difference. Every person we have interacted with has treated our dogs with tremendous love and respect. They are attentive, gentle, knowledgeable, compassionate, and incredibly thorough. It is also clear that Dr. O'Hara surrounds himself with people who share his philosophy of patient care. The consistency across the entire team is remarkable. Whether we are speaking with someone on the phone, checking in, talking with a technician, discussing something with the doctor, or simply asking a question, we are treated with the same level of kindness and professionalism. For us, veterinary care isn't just about finding someone who can provide medical treatment. Our dogs are family. They are incredibly important members of our household, and trusting someone with their health and their lives is an enormous responsibility. Beach Cities has earned our complete trust. After what happened with our recent emergency, that trust has only become stronger. Knowing that Dr. O'Hara and his team will look beyond the obvious, take concerns seriously, act with urgency when necessary, and advocate fiercely for our dogs gives us an incredible sense of comfort. Quick and efficient work! I have a 10 year old beagle who absolutely hates being bathed. He was kicked out of Petsmarts grooming because he kept biting everyone. Tony did an excellent job of clipping his nails, bathing him, all while being as gentle as he can. We definitely enjoy having our dog inside the house now! read more
