Super cool brewery! Dogleg is very golfer friendly! The decor is golf themed & it's super cute. The bathrooms were also clean which is a must. They have a golf game in one area of the brewery and a little raised stage area with turf in another. There's plenty of space and tables to bring everyone. They are also family friendly, there were lots of families with young children there. They have a couch with cushion chairs by a TV as well against one wall. Now it's a little drive once you get off the freeway, but if you are a golf enthusiast and like some solid beers, then Dogleg is a brewery you need to visit when in the area. I don't drink much nowadays, but the Gimme Golden Ale was nice and crisp. It was refreshing on the hot day that we visited on. The Birdie Juice seltzer was underwhelming and kind of of just bland in flavor. Inside: Inside you will find a golf simulator, a putting green, the bar, some couches and plenty of tables to hang out. They also have merch in the corner, and its all golf themed. We picked up some ball markers look great with the Dogleg logo on them. Notes: Renting the sim on weekends is like $35 for a half hour. If you like golf, and dogs this place caters to both of those things. They have great beers, usually 18 on tap + 2 hard seltzers. Most beers are between 4.8 and 7% ABV. Dogleg typically gets great food trucks just check who is gonna be there (plan ahead). They have enough TVs playing some form of sports, what ever the flavor of the season it happens to be. They have a golf simulator (definitely book ahead), and if you have your own clubs I highly recommend bringing them. They have clubs available if you're looking to just have fun, but I have more fun using my own whenever I play golf. read more

I really like this brewery a lot. They are all in on the golf theme and living the golf life, and they do an amazing job in translating that into their location. I've been a few times and had a nice experience both times. They have golf on TV and they are very dog friendly. They have a putting green as well as a golf simulator, which makes the place very fun. They have a pretty good size indoor location and have pivoted nicely to add some nice outdoor seating as well. The staff has been great both times as well, with the most recent visit being last Sunday. I started with the Birdie Juice Seltzer which was quite tasty. Way too easy to drink, and I would definitely order it again. Next I tried their tropical IPA and that was very good. Well balanced and drinkable. This seems like a pretty cool brewery, especially if you're into Golf. I watched several people play the golf simulator they have setup. Totally not my sport at all, but it was fun to watch. The Yelp event I attended got us a free beer called "Origins" which is their scotch ale. I've never tried such a beer before, I'm a Stout / IPA type guy. I was really impressed with this beer, everyone I talked with felt the same. On the reverse, I thought their Stout was horrible. I ordered a pint and left 90% in the glass. I ordered a flight which consisted of two IPA ( a double and a Hazy ) and two reds. I liked them, I wish I ordered a pint of the Hazy instead of the Stout. The staff was friendly, they were very busy so I didn't bother them with questions like I normally would about their beer. I'll most likely go back again and try some more of their selection. read more

I like how they didn't do a drop ceiling, but the actual brewing area is on the small side considering the size of the space. Ample parking. A few comfy couches along with a roll up split low bar. The original patio was small, but they've done a good job with their expanded patio in the parking lot. Check their social for food trucks and events. Had to update my review. We have been back several times and this time for a Makers Market sip and shop event. The brewery offers lots of different brews, lots of comfortable seating and areas to drink and visit. We all loved our beers. The golf theme is cool and see they have hosted events at St. Marks Golf Course which that sounds cool. I'm excited to see what Dogleg has in store for the local beer scene. I will admit, I am not a bowler (Big Labowski reference anyone?). But seriously, the work they did on the space in the tasting room is fantastic and you do not need to be a golfer to enjoy some time in here. A friend and I came on on the first day they were open and I think we surprised them as they were preparing gift baskets for the following days official big celebration. However, the owners we gracious and got us a few really good beers served and told us a bit about what they had done and what their plans were. What a great place to spend some time with family and friends. This is an awesome place hidden in the outskirts of Vista. This place has many tables and two sections to play golf. I wish I could leave a great review, but unfortunately, when we came to this space, there was only one person working and she was behind the bar (I won't name drop), creating the worst experience in a brewery I have ever had. She was so rude, unwelcoming, and treats you like you're a peasant. When I walked in, there were only a couple people in there and I was so excited with happy comments and she just stared at me. I asked her a few questions and she acted like I was stupid. Then we later reserved the golfing and were not notified to check in with her so as we began in our timeslot, she came over with the most aggressive and unprofessional verbiage. We are happy people and were more than willing to do anything we needed to, but she treated us like we were rebels coming in and trashing the place. She must be a very unhappy person to create such an unhappy space for us there that day. I took a few friends that were from out of state, and I was so embarrassed to have brought them there! She even went back to the bar and started talking about us while starring at us. We will never return and we will make sure we share this with our friends and family so they too can avoid a negative environment. read more

What a hidden gem! We had never been here before. We followed Copper Kings Burgers here so we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. This brewery is a golfers paradise. Great beer. Friendly service. Warm and welcoming ambiance. Fun atmosphere. Dogs everywhere! It was so much fun. Super dog friendly, we loved that. Everyone was super respectful too and kept their dogs on leash (which is, of course, CA state law) and also picked up after their dogs. We will definitely be back. Well done guys!!! read more

The atmosphere is very cool and there is a golfing simulator space which can hold one person at a time (line was pretty long) and they also have a mini green which has four little holes too. They have a couple of high top tables, a couple of low tables and another area with a leather couch. They do have an outdoor patio area as well. One thing this place is currently lacking is a variety. They have eight of their own beers on tap. They are mostly pale ale, Amber ale and stout styles. I think they could benefit from a blonde, wheat, or sour. No food or snacks served here on a regular basis. (Maybe they do food trucks now and then but didn't see that advertised.) Overall it is a great idea I am looking forward to seeing new beers made by them in the future. read more

We follow the taco truck and it let us to the dog leg Brewery little disappointed because I wasn't able to get a shanty I know that sounds so painful for real beer drinkers cuz I know they don't think shanties are for pussies but that's my pet peeve I'm sticking to it the menu is very very short the young man who helped us explain to me that it was a new place and they had to age the beer for the shanties or fruit beer I'm not too sure how all that works but needless to say it wasn't able to get anything lite or fruity...
