I had the most amazing experience with Sylvaine and David and their lovely studio. Sylvaine is extremely professional from the very start of your inquiry, making sure you have all the details and are informed of what the experience will be like. David is kind, gentle, real, and has a true eye for your pet. My mini doxie Olive is super food driven- David spent time prior to our shoot to familiarize himself with Olive and make sure she knew he was were the treats were!! I will sing their praises forever- the photos turned out amazing and I will cherish them the rest of my life. Worth every penny.

Would HIGHLY recommend! I've now been fortunate enough to do 2 different photo shoots with Dogma and I was beyond impressed both times! When I say my dogs do not listen and are not cooperative I mean it! And yet Dogma is so prepared and has all the tricks, treats, and noises to be able to still capture amazing photos. The owners are also so nice and very patient with the pets and their parents :) I have not received my photos from our most recent photo shoot yet but I'll attach a few from the first shoot and one behind the scenes photo from the most recent.

Let me start this with... I dont really write reviews unless the business was REALLY good or REALLY bad. In this case it was GREAT! My Mom, our three dogs, and I went early this month to get our portraits taken, and we had a great time. Two of dogs are harder to deal with, but David and Sylvaine knew just how to handle them. Our pictures came out great! I would give them 10stars if I could. Their options at Dogma are plentiful and so much better than just basic prints. We had a unique experience as well as Sylvaine letting us "tailor" our package option. We are 100% satisfied with every last photo! Big thanks to Dogma Pet Portraits.

We had an amazing experience with Dogma, the photographer was very patient with us and our dogs and we were able to get some amazing photos. They truly caught our dog's personalities and are able to tell a story within our photos. It was such a great experience and I can't wait to receive our album and brag books. Thank you again Dogma for capturing such wonderful moments.

I have to say this place is amazing! They offer an incredible collaboration with local dog businesses where they shoot your staff's dogs and create a beautiful portrait wall installation at your business. They made the process so easy. Our staff LOVED it! It's a no brainer for any local dog business owner.

This review is long overdue. This past July, I decided to take portraits with my dog Shadow on her 15th birthday/14th Gotcha day. This was a special birthday because I felt like it would probably be our last one together because she was diagnosed with bladder cancer in September 2021. I will forever be grateful to Sylvaine and David for making her birthday such a special day! Sylvaine was so kind when setting up our appointment and presenting our final photos! David was wonderful at getting Shadow to cooperate during the photo shoot! Our portraits are a priceless treasure! Shadow crossed the Rainbow Bridge this past Monday, December 5th. Her photos give me a lot of comfort.

She took the time to really understand the vision I had for my photoshoot and the types of moments I wanted captured, which made everything feel so intentional and meaningful. I booked a session for my older pup and my daughter (and even jumped in for a few photos myself!), and Katelin was absolutely incredible with both of them. She was so patient, especially with my fur baby, and so natural with my daughter--guiding her with poses that fit her age, making her laugh, and keeping things fun and light the entire time. What really stood out to me was how unrushed the session felt. Unlike other photoshoots where you feel like you're on the clock, Katelin created a relaxed environment where we could explore different backdrops, props, and ideas without any pressure. It made such a difference. She has an amazing eye and such a creative vision--it's clear she's incredibly talented and experienced. We even got to see a few glimpses of the photos during the session, and they were SO cute! I also saw some of her past work printed, and the quality is absolutely impeccable. This wasn't just a photoshoot--it was an experience. I'm already so excited to see the final images and would highly recommend Katelin to anyone looking to capture special moments, especially with family or pets. She's truly amazing!

You've deleted posts and pictures and pages, but by not acknowledging what you've done, you're not taking responsibility and you're saying that the voices of Native people need to just "go away". I would hope that if one of your children called another child a n***er, that you would not only allow your child to accept disciplinary action for his or her own actions, but also I would hope that you would have a serious talk with that child to explain why that was unacceptable in the first place. Because at the end of the day I would hope you would want your child to grow into a responsible, kind, and considerate adult. You have made it clear that you do not consider native voices important enough to actually be "heard". Most importantly you don't seem to be grasping why exactly this is wrong and is not taking steps towards accountability. What you have done is gone beyond cultural appropriation. You are actually guilty of cultural misappropriation, which is when one culture engages in the unauthorized taking of some aspects of another culture. Appreciating the imagery of headdresses is fine. Wearing a headdress when you have not been authorized to wear one by a recognized leader of an Indigenous community in which headdresses are earned and the feathers have symbolic meaning is misappropriation. There is some confusion as to whether non natives can wear native-created jewelry and such. Wearing turquoise is fine. Yes, you can wear turquoise. If you bought some beaded earring from a seller on Etsy, that is fine. If your native friend gifted you with native jewelry, it is ok. But you cannot create a small business and call your work Navajo or Dine inspired, or print native-style textiles on shirts and sell them as native american fashion just because your hipster friends think it's cool. If you want to support native american businesses and artists, that is ok. Allow Native American artists to reclaim their right to determine what is "native american" fashion and art. But it is certainly not your place do to what you've done.

Moses & Eva were very friendly and came prepared to photograph our dogs. Honestly, it has been quite a challenge for us to take care of all our dogs and so you can imagine the difficulty it would to get all of them to all look at the camera at the same time and look naturally happy. But they did it! While Moses took photos, Eva would clap, call our dogs names, make sounds, use a squeak toy and so on to get their attention. And when Eva was taking photos, Moses would do the same. Moses & Eva were very easy to talk to and helped put us at ease during the shoot. They scoped out some great backdrops around the large park and were very relaxed and incredibly patient and friendly. Since they also provide dog care services, they are used to interacting with all kinds of dogs (and other pets I am sure), which makes the best pet photographers! Especially in our case, the more dogs you have, the harder it would be to get everyone to look at the camera at the same time. I am so thrilled to have some great photos for our annual winter holiday greeting card this year. This holiday card is going to be even more special this year because each of our 3 dogs are in the same photo with us (our 1st family photo) and I have both Moses & Eva to thank! They are so friendly and professional~ and my pup loved them. I didn't even know they did photography at first~ When I was out flying around they kept me updated with texts and pictures of my dog. It was great- I'm always slightly anxious when Ieave him, but getting the updates made me feel a lot better! And as the pictures came, I realized that these were some of the best pictures I had ever seen of my dog- and this was using their phone! I mean, they really captured his personality- every photo was fantastic. Like I said, I didn't know they did the photography, so I asked them if they had ever considered it as they took amazing pictures! Anyhow- it was no surprise when they said that they had a photography side of their business. I can only imagine what they can do with a real camera and not just a cell phone~ lol! They are really good people too. I got injured at work and they are kind enough to come by and bathe my dog as I am unable to right now. What's really nice about that is he gets SO EXCITED when he sees them- he spins in circles and acts like a maniac! And he's no spring chicken at 12 years old! As dog sitters go I couldn't want anything more- the communication is fantastic and they take GREAT care of my dog. I trust them completely. I know this is for their photogrophy business but have to share this- my dog gets bummed out when I fly and doesn't want to eat. I told them about this and not to worry too much. Well- they didn't like that he wasn't eating so on the 2nd night, Mo sat down and hand fed my dog. What more can I say?? They are good people and truly great at what they do.
