We scheduled…read morea photoshoot for our first ever dog Ginger, our little Shih Tzu, on her 1st birthday since we wanted it to be special. They worked with our little girl Ginger with such finesse. They really work hard to get good shots. Ginger is a very shy dog so the first part of our shoot was them just trying to let her open up by playing with her and giving her treats. She definitely opened up after a while that's why she got the oh so beloved tennis ball shot! My husband and I are not the best models either and we wanted to be in the photos. They taught us some poses to look decent in the pictures. They really work with you and your preferences--they make sure you absolutely love the prints and the photos you end up with. We had an incident where one of the prints had smudged ink which was very minimal--, but they went above and beyond to literally drive to our home to switch out the framed prints just to make sure we have them perfect! We loved how every framed print turned out. Was definitely a pleasure to work with them. Thank you!!!!

Not only was she absolutely patient and wonderful with that crazy little animal, the photos came out beautiful. I'm still waiting for them to be complete and in frames but have seen the retouched photos, and they're stunning. My session was one LARGE black lab and a sassy but friendly Siamese cat. We were greeted with the friendliest smile and my dog loved her right away so that means she's good people. Rikke took time to explain all of the process and options BEFORE we even got into the session and encouraged questions. Then we got into the pictures - and man was it fun! She is very patient - more than even I am with my own dog - and resourceful in getting shots! I haven't even seen the pictures yet and I just know they're good. The studio itself is smaller which is as best for us since we had a cat who likes to hide, but even she came out of her shell thanks to Rikke! I seriously cannot wait to see all of her hard work! 10/10, recommend to a friend, going back again. Book.

Emma and her assistant (I am so sorry that I am forgetting her name) were able to capture everything we loved about that day. We got so many photos as part of our package, and there are no duds. It is an impossible task to go through and pick our favorites. The photos are the part of the wedding that last forever, and we could not be happier that we went with Emma. What my wife and I were drawn to about Emma's photos when we were shopping around, and what we saw reflected in our own photos, is her ability to capture little moments. She has a great sense for when something subtle but meaningful is happening, like a family member starting to tear up, or a speechgiver's friend in the crowd laughing at their joke. That's what is really valuable about the photos to us, and something I am not sure every photographer can get you. She is also a consummate professional. She is efficient and purposeful-she makes sure she captures all the important moments without consuming your whole day with photos. She provides clear instructions, which is helpful as the wedding couple, but is even more helpful when you are taking family photos with several different combinations of people. Emma is also so kind and lovely to be around. I normally do not like having photos taken of me, and it can be uncomfortable to be in that many photos, making serious faces, and allowing someone in during a highly emotional day. Emma makes that whole process comfortable and enjoyable. You can tell she has a real passion for doing this and truly enjoys getting to know the couples. Her friendliness and confidence put you at ease. This is a really important point-you spend as much time with the photographer on your wedding day as anyone else! Emma is a great person to spend that time with. I also want to note that all of the above is also true of Emma's assistant. Again, I am so sorry I am forgetting her name. But she was in charge of getting most of the groom and groomsmen photos at the beginning of the ceremony, and was such a pleasure to work with. That was the point in which I was the most nervous, and she made the whole process go smoothly and the day started out on a great foot as a result. We cannot recommend Emma enough.
