It's not user-error, as I've attempted from multiple different devices with no success. So I attempted to purchase and schedule the training sessions by calling the store directly. When I did so, they told me I had to purchase online or come into the store to purchase training sessions. I told the guy about the website issue and that I wasn't able to purchase online, his response was that "he's not concerned about the website and has nothing to do with it". So I drove 25 minutes to the store to make the purchase. Once at the store they told me I could only purchase training sessions when the trainer is at the store. As she turned slightly to the left, instead of to the right, like he advised, he repeated: "to the right...the right... Duhhhh", saying the "duh" in a condescending way - like how a child would to a sibling. This was not quiet or under his breath. This was out loud and meant for us to hear. Unnecessary rudeness. Dude...calm down. We were pleasant to you and excited to eat ice cream... Your attitude sucked and was uncalled for. Why be that way? Why be rude when being kind feels so much better? I have been going to Pet Supplies Plus for all of my miniature dauschund needs for 4 years now and the staff have been supremely helpful, kind, and always point me in the right direction. Today, I was looking for a dental chew for Leon (our little man). I asked one of the helpful individuals by the cash register what they would recommend for a dental chew and they took me right to the aisle and provided a wealth of information. I found the right treat individually wrapped and proceeded to the cash register. When the helpful staff member saw me in line he said, "Hey is that all you're getting? Its on the house." I insisted I pay however the kind gentleman told me that if Leon liked the treat we would be back for more in the future. Again I do not post on YELP too often, however when someone goes out of their way to help a customer I feel they deserve recognition. Customers are left waiting while employees finish personal, non-work-related conversations, and there seems to be frequent confusion with basic register functions and applying coupons correctly. On top of that, the website is constantly down. What bothered me most was the attitude and overall treatment I received. The employees I encountered came across as rude, unprofessional, and dismissive. Based on the way I was treated, I also left feeling that my race may have played a role in the interaction, which is extremely concerning. I will no longer be shopping at this location or recommending it to others.

Still, the busy volunteers were very kind and explained the adoption process clearly. I was able to visit the kitties I was interested in and saw many other cuties too. Their application process starts online on their website. Applying there first and then bringing the printed approval email makes everything go smoother. Once I figured that out, I got the bonded cats on my return visit very quickly and now, about four months later, the two cats are doing very well in their new home. They're healthy, had no problems at the vet check-up, and will be celebrating their two year birthday in August.
