This one's a bit further than I normally trek, but decided to try them anyways. Got here early and the place was quiet. The plaza is relatively new and this was the only non-chain I could find there. Wandering in, had the front end lady greet me. Debated on the French toast, but decided to buck the trend and try their tacos. Also ordered a latte, which took a few minutes to make. Coffee is lavazaa which is okay coffee. Coffee wasn't too strong but it also lacked any flavor beyond milk. The tacos did take about 15 minutes to make, and I appreciate the attention but it did takes while to come out. The tacos were actually pretty good! The delay was because they did a heavy burned cheese layer on the tortilla. The avocado creama, creamy eggs, spicy homemade chorizo, and pickled onion lead to a very well balanced and well seasoned bite. Plus they were huge in size but every bite offered a similar experience. If I had to be a stickler, there was a lot of potatoes on each taco. Filler is fine, but I did notice the amount. As a taco, it's a very solid contender to one of the better tacos I've had in ct. the quality is there, the quantity is plentiful, and the price is right. If I only got the tacos, and I was warned that it would be a few minutes to make sure they came out right, then it would be a five-star taco. Because the coffee is okay and there was a bit of a wait, I did dock a star because of it. It's a great place for a local breakfast and lunch spot. So long as you go in knowing that it might take a little bit to get your order then the wait is worth it. The vibe is chill, the food is good to great, and the staff are very nice.

I go all the time, and every visit hits the same way: comforting, consistent, and full of that small‑town charm you can't fake. The breakfast tacos are my personal obsession packed, flavorful, and somehow both hearty and fresh at the same time. And the chicken cutlet? Perfectly crispy, perfectly seasoned, and the kind of thing you think about later in the day like a little food daydream. The staff keeps things moving with kindness and ease, and the whole place has that "everyone knows your name" vibe without trying too hard. It's the kind of spot where you settle in, sip your coffee, and feel like you're part of the town heartbeat. If you want a place that serves comfort, community, and seriously good food, Mojo's is it.

I've even seen her do Labubu trade events via Instagram. My most recent visit I brought my mom to try her very first mochi donut. We tried so many flavors, but my favorite was the rose lychee. Absolutely amazing and light, the texture is always perfect. To drink, I got the Matcha with the cheese foam on top. Definitely a new experience for me, but I liked the contrasting, sweet and savory flavors of the drink. My mom got an Vietnamese iced coffee with mango boba... What a combo lol! Big mistake but thankfully Tookie remade her drink with some brown sugar popping boba. Can't wait to go back, as always!

So being in the area, decided to come here and pick up some donuts for the ride home. We got here late in the day, and they were out of almost everything when I got there. I managed to get a churro and matcha donut. I then saw they did a Dubai chocolate strawberry cup, and had to give that a try as well ( they only do the cup on the weekends) The donuts were very fresh, light and chewy. They are high in price but much better in quality compared to other places I've tried. The Dubai strawberry cup had a kind of weak chocolate sauce over them. Not the cheapest stuff on the market, but not strong or mellow like the expensive chocolates. The strawberries were fresh, and the Dubai part needed a little salt to counteract the sweet and enhance the earthy. Inside is well decorated but dirty. All the tables were dirty, there's lots of dust and other ditritus when I was waiting for my dessert. It was end of day, so I get why they would not be fully clean. But there's some repairs that need to get done and there's cracks in the facade. Despite the lack of donuts, the quality was good and the Dubai strawberries were a nice sweet treat. This is a good place to get some interesting food items or sweet treats. Not a trek worthy spot, but good if you're around

I was skeptical - the Sunberry I remember was not entirely appropriate for a seat-down meal for 30+ people, but I went along for the ride. Imagine my surprise when I walked in and saw that it was completely different, to the point where I had to check old Yelp reviews to confirm this was the same place I was thinking of! We ordered just about everything on the menu and while it was all good, nothing was great. It would be a solidly reliable lunch spot if I worked in the area but it was not the best choice for a work dinner - it got very loud and very crowded, making it hard to share apps around the tables. Definitely a well-deserved glow-up for this spot.

The space isn't large, but well organized and upscale approachable. The bar area is long and allows for added dining space, the wait staff were friendly and attentive. While our dining was based on the app menu, the food being delivered to tables looked good and plates being cleared were all empty. Ordering mussels on a Sunday afternoon is often seen as a brave choice as freshness matters. Based on the amount of orders we saw around us, it was a good decision. They were light, fresh and in a broth that was complimentary without overpowering. In a city whose food scene seems to be dominated by one restaurant group, this is a fresh fusion take that offers an exciting alternative and worth a visit. Was our first, but definitely placed itself on the list of return visits.

They have pretzels with dips, gourmet stuffed pretzels, pretzel sandwiches, wings, tenders and fish and chips. The bar was decorated for Christmas and they were serving special holiday drinks in fun Christmas themed mugs. I had the Christmasaurus in a red ceramic dinosaur and my wife had a Butter Rum Mocktail in a winking Santa mug. My drink was tasty and the mugs were fun. We bought a couple of the fun mugs to go. A person who I believe was the owner and the chef, was wearing a Christmas sweater and obviously loves the Christmas theme. Our server who doubled as the bartender was a bit more stoic about the theme. LOL. The food was generally good. It seemed like the pretzels may have picked up another aroma from the kitchen while the pretzels were cooking, because they had a slight aftertaste. Manageable, but not ideal. The pretzels looked great and had good texture. The beer cheese dip and mustard dip were both good. My pretzel stuffed with Mac and Cheese and short rib was good. We also split some holiday snack mix and Carolina BBQ wings. They were probably my favorite part of the meal. 4 Stars. The Hop Knot is definitely a place to check out. I understand that there used to be one in Middletown, CT and one in New Hampshire, although I'm unclear on the relation to the present owners in Portland.
