My Husky mix has been going to Dogs All Day for close to 2 years now and loves it! He boards with them as well and always comes home tuckered out. The staff is amazing and really loves the dogs. I have the app where you can watch the dogs via live stream and it's hilarious to tune in and see my dogs' dopey face. Thor had a few weeks last year where I was dropping him off multiple times a week due to being back in the office. I couldn't find him on the cameras, there are a few blind spots, but usually see him a couple times a day. Before I could even ask if something was going on, they pulled me aside when I picked him up and mentioned he was acting a bit anxious and subdued and just not himself. They told me it could be he is just overwhelmed going to daycare more than he is generally used to. After a vet visit (not necessary at all... Lol) and a couple weeks at home he was begging to go back to Daycare. Turns out he really just does get overwhelmed sometimes. Me too buddy! I came in to grab my husky end of last year and the staff member let me know that he was getting a bit overwhelmed again and may need a week or two at home. We LOVE dogs all day! We have tried out a couple different dog day cares around Charlotte and this is our favorite and the one my boyfriend and I always take our sweet Cavapoo Norman to! Before they start attending on a daily basis, they need to do a meet and greet. It took us about 3 months to finally get an appointment for our pup. This lasts about 15 minutes and is just to make sure your dog would fit in well. They put him in a room and slowly introduced other dogs to see how they did together. They have cameras with TVs on the lobby so I could watch and see exactly what was going on. He passed! So we could start sending him. They have rooms based on the dogs size. My puppy is just under a year old, so he is in the puppy room!! They are priced around the same as other places we have visited and offer a discount per day for the more days you purchase at once. They also offered a discount (I think it was 20%) if I purchased days the same day as his meet and greet. They also sell dogs toys, treats and food in the lobby. My doggy always comes home exhausted, so you know that's a good sign of a great day! The workers are so nice and love on our puppy just as much as we do! They know him by name and are always so excited when we walk up with him, which makes him more excited to go and is a nice personal touch! My favorite things about dogs all day: 1. You don't have to make a reservation. A lot of times we don't decide until the night before or morning of that we need/want to take Norman. Other places where you have to reserve a space for, are typically booked by that point so it's so nice that we don't have to worry about that and can just bring him in. 2. They have cameras that you can access via app (you do have to pay a monthly fee of a couple dollars for the phone app), or for free on their website, or via the TVs in the lobby. It's always fun to access the camera during the day and see how he's doing! 3. They are mostly outside They also do boarding and grooming, but we have never used them for that. This place booked us for a Sunday pet interview, we showed up 8:30am, they said it was a 10:30 am appointment, but had no idea who booked us, when they booked us, only had it penciled in calendar. They were not able to accommodate the miscommunication and the main reason they only have one space for the dogs to run. Not going back for limited facilities, lack of taking responsibility for scheduling errors, and overall attitude from front desk and manager that it was our problem. It was pretty clear to us we would not want our furbaby there. Would recommend another facility if you have a pup over 25 lbs for small space. 3 stars facility seemed clean, customer service and business organization lacking. Last note: this place has full size realistic looking stuffed dogs as decor.... anyone that knows dogs or animals in general is aware that is not welcoming to dogs and freaks them out. This was our first experience using a facility for our 1.5 year old doodle. The reviews were great and we loved that he got to play outside all day without being in a crate. He's used to roaming free and being crated all day would have felt like a punishment to him. We left him for 4 days. The dog we picked up was not the same dog we dropped off. He smelled, his hair was all matted and dirty (assuming from other dogs). The few times I looked in the camera there was over 30 dogs (medium size room) in a small room and a person just walking around. I didn't want to let that influence my experience but it validated it once I saw my dog. What made matters even worse is that a few days later, he got sick. We took him to the vet and first thing they asked "was he around other dogs or at a kennel?". You guessed it- kennel cough. He has never had kennel cough and after 4 days at this place - he gets sick. We will never bring him back here and I encourage management to do a better job. read more

A long but necessary read for any dog owners considering taking their dog to Dogs All Day. We started taking our puppy to Dogs All Day a couple of months ago and had a great experience, up until our most recent visit last Wednesday. We dropped our puppy (an almost 6 month old lab) off for a half day of daycare. When we picked her up at 6:30 PM that evening the attendant let us know that Reese got a "small cut" during her nail trimming service. When Reese walked out, a piece of her ear was slit and hanging off. The attendant also let us know that they let Reese back in the play area "when the bleeding stopped" because "she was acting normal and wagging her tail." Our puppy could have been injured even more because of the negligence of the employees, and our first thought was: why didn't they call us to tell us this happened? They claimed they weren't exactly sure what happened, that it happened during her nail trim but they didn't see a blood trail anywhere. We quickly took her to an emergency vet clinic where we were told she would need surgery. We consulted with our regular vet the next day and they agreed, she would need surgery under anesthesia. Our regular vet luckily fit her in for a Friday morning surgery, and Reese came home Friday evening with a cone and her ears wrapped in bandages, on paid meds and an antibiotic to fight infection. A manager at Dogs All Day, Heather, did call us Thursday morning after the incident and expressed her sincere apologies and we did appreciate that. The owner of Dogs All Day, Anita, also offered her apologies and paid for almost all of the vet bills, which we also greatly appreciated. We are still very upset at the way the staff handled this situation and therefore we will not be returning to Dogs All Day. read more

I have so far been very happy with this place. A few things have stood out. Especially from other places I've taken my dog. First, there is PLENTY of play time. The dogs are either in the yard or in a group indoor pen all day except during nap time (another place only allowed 10 dogs to play at a time and the rest were crated on rotation). Still, there is plenty of space so that if my dog was to chill out and lay down, he can get rest on his time. Second, my dog ended up getting a pretty bad cut. Not sure if was from another dog or he rubbed up against something. He didn't show pain and they caught it when they were inspecting the dogs coming in from outside (which meant they were checking!). they took him to the vet so he could get stitches, brought him back, paid the vet bill and comped me half a day. I was floored by not only their ability to catch the cut but also how professionally they handled it. Third, I sometimes check in on the app (its a little extra fee but not much) just to see my boy play. EVERY TIME I check in I see the yard attendants petting or hugging a dog. It's not always mine, but it is still awesome to see them loving on the dogs. Fourth, speed of checking in and out. In the mornings I am trying to catch the train. They are always so fast taking him from me. Even when five people are walking in at the same time, I've never had to wait more than a minute for them to take him. I love the care and all the little things that make me feel my dog is having a great day. He comes home every time exhausted and happy. read more

Other options don't charge fee for pickups past 1pm I made a luxury kennel reservation to ensure my dog wasn't placed in a krate - Although I was told there were none available when we arrived. *They did have "Kennel Only" on his paper - but how do I know he wouldn't be placed in one when the staff is okay with putting XL dogs in crates? - Again, was not sold on them being organized. Other companies explain and show in full detail how they organize their visitors feeding times, medication needs, and other requirements. We've been dropping our girls off for about 6 months now. They are always staffed with friendly people who clearly love the dogs they have with them. We have 2 Mini-Schnauzers and they have a good amount of energy. When we pick them up at the end of the day they're always tired but happy. Took our 2 dogs for grooming here. While the groomer was nice he did an awful job. He had burnt the side of one of my dogs necks. There was burn scabs For weeks afterwards. I let the groomer know, he apologized and said ill use a different Gaurd next time. We gave him another chance and this time the burn marks were even worse! He had two huge scabs on both sides of his neck. My dog was shaking the entire way home. I am not one to write reviews but had to in hopes that it might safe another dog having to go through this. I bring my dog here for grooming. The staff is wonderful! Everyone is beyond friendly, efficient, and LOVE pets. The groomers follow my directions to a T. I drop her off in the morning and they call me when she is ready. I have never boarded my dog here or utilized the doggie daycare, although I would. The facility is great. They have cameras in all the play areas and there are always attendants on hand. They offer a great selection of pet food, accessories, toys, beds, treats, etc there.
