We had been told that our dog was not compatible for boarding by another facility. Our dog is not aggressive and well socialized. In fact his love for daily visits to the dog park are why we prefer boarding him over having someone watch him at our home. Club Fetch had the notes from the other facility and chose to give our boy a chance. They sent daily report cards evaluating his behavior with photos and took excellent care of our dog. When I picked him up they said that he was an angel and was welcome to stay there anytime. Club Fetch gives us great peace of mind. It started when I submitted an appointment, through their website, I submitted one and then called due to a timing mistake, no one answered or even called back. The day of the appointment, I went in to the facility they said there was no appointment. They then proceeded to look at my records for my pet and stated "You need every single distemper shot in the series to be seen. NC state law." Upon a simple google search, the only shot required by law is the rabies shot (which my dog has). I was refused grooming for no reason by an ill informed staff team. Not to mention the lack of customer service by not having a booking system that works and lack of basic phone etiquette. read more

We always board our dogs here and they always come home so happy and so well taken care of, Club Fetch does a great job. Our dogs aren't huge players with other dogs, and the staff always gives them attention and makes sure they are loved. They are happy to see them and so kind. Our dogs have medicine(s) and they always administer them correctly and ask questions. They have good space for dogs to run/play given its South End. We always get outside picture of them! Overall I feel like my dogs are loved, happy, and safe when they are there. The staff is always accommodating when we have had to change plans last minute and or several days out. When I moved back to Charlotte with my Mini Bernedoodle, he was having a hard time adjusting. Really bad separation anxiety and acting out. I was nervous to take him to a new daycare but knew it would be best for him. Club Fetch is amazing!! They treat him so well and he adjusted quickly. If I ever have a question, I always receive a quick and helpful response. Most importantly, I appreciate the care and love that Hannah receives. Kelsey greats her every morning with the best attitude and knows that sweet Hannah isn't quite ready for her day and lets her nap when she arrives. I then enjoy the Instagram posts midday to late day to see the fun that Hannah has had during the day. Finally, when I pick her up, Michelle and I have quick chat about my special girl. I really appreciate all of the personal attention we both receive. (For comparison with several other day cares, I had little personal interaction with any of the staff and no real idea how Hannah's experience was during her stay). Highly recommend Club Fetch. This past weekend was not our first stay there- but I wanted to take time to review as we are blown away by club fetch once again. We knew our dogs would be so loved and safe while we were busy getting married. Not only did they let us bring our dogs in a night early with about two hours notice- they poured so much love into my pups. Our one dog was a stray that clearly came from some sort of abusive home, so I get nervous leaving her places (crazy dog mom alert)- they take the time to put her in groups where she actually finds dogs to play with...and I believe she has fun there. We've been using the doggy daycare services at Club Fetch since this fall. Our dog is a rescue who was physically abused prior to adopting her and she also seemed to have minimal socialization. We were a little unsure about doggy daycare but also thought it may be good to have her in an environment around other dogs and different people. We had a really bad experience with a neighboring doggy daycare facility... she came home every day covered in urine, the small dogs don't get to go outside, and we were sad to watch her in the camera one day and see that she sat by herself in the corner for the entire day. After this experience, we were hesitant to try somewhere new. After asking around for references, Club Fetch came highly recommended. We have been really happy with Club Fetch since we have been using them. We're appreciative that they do a trial day and check in with you about how your dog is doing. This was comforting given our dog's history. We asked to walk through the facility one of the first days she stayed there and it was very clean. They also have a great online booking system, which is a lot easier than calling. The staff knows our dog by name and she seems excited every time we drop her off. My sheepdog Thor and I LOVE this new location! The owner, Blaire, has put so much time and thought into this place, it's incredible. This location of Club Fetch is for the bigger dogs, 35lbs and over. I came to tour the facility before dropping Thor off. Blaire is so open and friendly, always ready to give a tour and show you what they're up to. You won't find those online "pup cams" here, but you won't miss it (let's be honest, they never work right anyway). Club Fetch keeps their social media so up to date, I can check on Thor through pictures and videos. Feel free to go to their other page, the one for Camden Rd to read my other review. The staff here is so friendly and welcoming. They have a handful of new staff that needs to be trained a little bit more, but I am so confident in Blaire's attention to detail and love for this place, I'm sure they'll be up to speed quickly. The facility is clean and very well maintained. They have 3 play areas so that dogs can be separated by energy level and personality. I am probably one of your more high maintenance dog owners, I want to know where Thor is, what he's doing, if he's having fun, when he last pooped and sometimes I call Club Fetch just to check on him. Blaire, Jules and their staff really get to know your dog and care for them like their own. They'll answer all of your questions, and get more information if you need it. They're in constant contact with a local vet, so they stay on top of health concerns like the dog flu that was found in Asheville. Please believe me, if Thor stays here, you're good to go. Haha. I will not come back to club fetch. I used to do doggy daycare there and never had an issue. Every time I board though he comes back as an absolute mess. He smells, they did not follow instructions on wiping my English bulldogs wrinkles like I had asked and when I picked him up he was soaking wet. This place is going downhill I think. I Just got back from my vacation and had to go find a place to give him a bath because I did not want him coming into my apartment smelling like that. I also have to make a vet appointment because his eye is messed up which nobody had given me a heads up about. I will not go back and will NOT recommend to anyone I know. If there is no one that I personally know that can watch him I will skip my trip. read more

I started taking my pup to club fetch about 3 years ago. Initially, I was scared to take my incredibly sweet pup to any doggie daycare or boarding for fear that she would have a negative interaction and end up "changed." Well, Club Fetch is reasonably particular about their pups temperaments, do a test day, and separate the pups out by size and temperament. They even let my pup have "breaks" when they can tell that she gets overwhelmed! I board in the large suite usually bc my pup is 80 lbs, but she gets a bed and a tv! They do their best to accommodate the days that I need to rarely come a little early or if Im running a little late. My four stars are for the cleanliness of the facility (I took a tour before we took our dog there) and the friendliness of Blaire. I also LOVE that the dogs get all day play time here - as opposed to scheduled playtime slots at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Instagram photos are such an appreciated, personal touch! :) However, during the 3 day weekend that we were gone, my fiancé and I put in SEVEN phone calls to club fetch to check up on our pup. Sometimes he gets really sad when we're away & won't eat his food. Not to mention, this was his first time at club fetch. All SEVEN phone calls went unanswered. I'm sure all loving pet parents can relate to the assurance a quick phone call check-up can provide. After the third or fourth unanswered call I began to feel very nervous and uneasy about the staff. Our dog was in great spirits when we picked him up & we're happy with the report we received. My tip to club fetch - get your business line forwarded to a phone in the back if you don't always have some staffed at the desk. The staff here at Club Fetch Big is incredible. Very friendly and always gives you a status update on how your furbaby did that day. Blaire took the time to give us a tour the first time we stopped in to show us around and see exactly where our little Zoey girl would be spending her day. The facilities are extremely clean, and the entrance is very homey and welcoming. I understand that toys are a no-no in group settings because they can cause fights, etc ... but I wish Club Fetch had some things for the dogs to do. Our last day care in Ohio had some obstacles, bridges, tunnels etc for the dogs to run through which I felt at least gave them something to "play" with other than each other. I think they have some stuff and Club Fetch Mini, so maybe they're working on Big since it's a fairly new location. So I know there are definitely people out there who are like "uhh, did you say you take your dog to daycare?" Yes, and no shame. When I moved to Charlotte, I took a big sigh because I basically had to start over to find a new place for my pup to get his exercise on. After a massive amount of research and calling places, I found Club Fetch. There are a few simple reasons why I like this place: 1. They open early and close late - This is so important because I'm constantly either running in there early or running late. 2. They have two separate facilities: One for big, energetic dogs and another for smaller or medium-size calmer dogs - It's nice that they don't just have a little "space" for the small dogs right next to the big dogs. They can actually run around a bit more. 3. When you board your dog, they will put them in daycare ALL DAY - I can't tell you how many places I called that said "oh yeah, we do 2 20min sessions a day for the boarders" or "oh sure, you can add an extra hour of playtime for your dog, but it will cost extra". 4. They post pics of the dogs every day on social media so you can check in on your pup. 5. The people there are soon nice, so you feel like you're dog is going to be in good hands when you leave. Club Fetch is AMAZING! I am a total nutjob leaving my dog ANYWHERE and I have never felt better leaving him in the hands of the staff at Club Fetch. The staff was more than gracious in giving me a full tour and the facilities are EXCELLENT. They are so meticulous with any and all requests with regards to food, treats, toys, beds, and then playtime as well. I know that my little pup is so well taken care of when I leave him and has a great time. They also require a day of evaluation for dogs, so I know there are no dogs there that are not socialized in with my furbaby (seriously, I know, I have a problem.) The report cards at the end of the day help a ton, too, knowing that the staff took notice of how my dog did. The location is great for me as well, and again, I cannot say enough about the amazing staff. Their Instagram/Facebook feed with all the pictures also helps put my mind at ease while I'm away. Whether it's boarding or daycare you're after (the dogs play when they're boarding, it's all included) I don't think you will EVER find a place as great as Club Fetch. read more

When I moved from Atlanta to Charlotte earlier this year, my most puzzling item was what to do with my dog, Wiley, when I went out of town. We had a great team in Atlanta, and after searching high and low in Charlotte I didn't know if we could find someone we trusted with a safe, clean facility. As soon as I walked into Club Fetch, I knew that would be Wiley's home away from home. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly with my tour, which assured me this is where I wanted Wiley to be; and although I was hesitant about the doggie daycare portion (only because Wiley had never been in that environment), Club Fetch's free comprehensive assessment put my mind at ease immediately. My two dogs get so excited when we pull up, they cannot wait to get in the doors and play with their new friends. The rates are great and the kennels are large enough that my two labs can comfortably stay in the same one with room to spare. Don't take your dog here unless he is a saint. We took our 9mo old lab puppy here a handful of times and every time we had them dangling the threat of kicking him out if he didn't straighten up. We take our dog to the dog park regularly and he doesn't act the way they portrayed him to act everytime at pick up. I believe the owners and staff are a bit hypersensitive to what I consider to be standard dog behavior when they are at play. I want to drop my dog off for the day and not have to worry about him until I pick him up - which simply didn't happen here. read more

I cannot say enough nice things about Club Fetch!It's always neat and tidy. Every time I leave Willys here, I leave knowing he is in great hands! I also, love that when I pick him up I can tell he has had a good time because he is usually in the back of my car asleep before I even get home. Club Fetch is the only boarding/daycare facility I will take my pup! The staff is absolutely phenomenal!! Their customer service is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. I went out of the country for two weeks and boarded my dog at Club Fetch (for the first time). Blaire was kind enough to share pictures of my pup through What'sApp to ease my nerves.
