If you're paying 100 dollars or more, the business owners should be at least cordial. Then there is the grooming. They have NEVER completed trimming and grooming my grandmother's dog. Not once. And my grandmother was always been charged full price. Unacceptable.

To start the process off for a new dog, there's a pretty comprehensive questionnaire. It's as much a questionnaire of the owner as it is about the dog, which is incredibly smart-- many dog owners are as much a problem as their untrained dog! After reviewing my answers, I got a call from the staff, getting Sombra and me scheduled up for a trial day. They managed my expectations, letting me know what would happen if Sombra turned out to have trouble at KTD, or if they needed me to come get her early. I booked a date for the trial, and off we went. The drop off was seamless. I got checked in, they said hello to Sombra, and she was escorted off to the daycare. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and gave me a little card with a phone number to text if I wanted updates. They let me know what to expect, and when I could come pick Sombra up. Hours later, I come by to pick her up. The staff gave me the sitrep on how things went-- Sombra wasn't a great fit for the first play group, so they moved her out into a quieter one, where she fit in great! She spent the day playing with them, and things went smoothly. After the trial day, Sombra was approved to come by without appointment. I'm stoked to use KTD for daycare and possibly boarding in the future. They've won my trust, and Sombra's high standards for play groups. Thanks, KTD!

Kiki, our 7 year old poodle mix needed a teeth cleaning due to her high amount of tartar…read more Dr Higgins, was the doctor how examined Kiki and was concerned about the tartar and gingivitis that was occurring. Kiki also has a loose front incisor tooth, that Dr Higgins recommended extracting and to check for any other issues to other teeth. We immediately scheduled the cleaning with the staff at the front desk, who were very friendly and accommodating. They were able to get Kiki in 2 days later to have the procedure, from pre-anesthetic blood panel, to the actual sedation under anesthesia, to the cleaning of all teeth, the extraction of the incisor and one molar. Dr Arakaki performed the surgery and did a fabulous job of keeping us updated on how the procedure went. Madison, the technician was also amazing from when I brought Kiki the morning of the surgery, reviewing everything in detail and as well, when we picked up Kiki. We would like to compliment entire team at Baxter Creek, from the front desk personnel, Madison, Dr Higgins and of course Dr Arakaki. She is blow dried by hand and not put in a drying cage, which helps Pippa to feel more uncomfortable. Andie has helped us to help Pippa have better grooming practices and behavior to aid her when she visits. She goes in almost weekly to have her ponytail and bow fixed because she doesn't let mom do it yet, but Andie's helping her with that too. Andie always recognizes Pippa and remembers her name and Pippa gives her tons of love and kisses even though she hates the groomer. Pippa has never looked better, even after visiting many extremely expensive "fancy" "master" groomers in Dallas. I can not recommend Andie's Paws and Claws enough, she's AMAZING!

One month ago today, my fifteen-year-old yellow Labrador had an emergency while we were out of town. Sarah answered her emergency line at 6 in the morning on a Saturday, and with pictures sent she was able to diagnose the situation quickly, and directed me towards the emergency vet in the town where I was. Unfortunately I needed to make a decision to euthanize my baby, Sarah consulted with me and the local vet at the hospital and between the three of us the decision was made. A sad situation, but Sarah had helped me to be ready for such a situation and helped me through it all. I am very grateful for Sarah and ark veterinary practice!

I have utilized this facility a few times in the last year and a half, and I have always been…read moreimpressed. Recently, my pets stayed for about a week. Roughly 40 minutes before picking up my dogs, I got a phone call about my pet being in distress with no obvious external wounds. When I got there, I was able to identify an external puncture wound upon inspection, which required advanced wound care, and internal and external stitches. I understand pets get hurt, but the condition in which I found her was not an acute onset of symptoms. The wound was older and needed immediate medical attention. Additionally, Summit did not handle it well and denied any explanation as to why my pet was hurt. They acted cold and unapologetic. They offered no assistance and did not even call the check on her condition after visiting the emergency room. Due to their overall assessment and reaction to my pet being hurt, and the nature of the situation, I no longer trust any of my pets in their care and cannot continue to recommend them.

They also disregarded any and all of his formal training. The facility isn't clean and the staff lacks the proper communication skills. If you love your pet go to one of the other many daycares that cost a little more and have a lot more to give your pet in the area

He is a rescue and we didn't have a lot of background information on him so I wanted him to be comfortable and socialize him with other dogs. He is also reactive to men. Every time I bring him, he is excited to go in and the staff are very friendly and kind to him. He is excited to even see the male staff. I never have any concerns about his safety, and I have checked on him several times during the day when I first started to bring him. I recommend Top Dog to everyone who is looking for a place to either board their dog or stay for a day.
