Searching on Yelp, I was a little worried by reading the reviews, but figured the Tail Waggin' Ranch was worth at least checking out. I must say, I am so glad that we did! After being let into the front gate, we were greeted by the owner and a few of his regular furry customers, all of whom were having such a great time. There were multiple fields that the dogs could play in, some of which even had a small river for them! Upon our return three days later, our dog was truly having a tail waggin' good time. I would much rather have her here than any normal boarding facility. The whole property was lined with 6+ foot tall fences and the owner is super attentive to the dogs. I could be wrong, but is seems to me like the negative reviews of this place all likely came from the same person (who probably shouldn't board their dog given its propensity to jump 6+ foot fences). Bottom line: if you are looking for a place to house your dog, Tail Waggin' Ranch is the best place in Montana, bar-none. It may not feel like the Taj Mahal to a human, but you would be hard pressed to find a better place in the eyes of a dog.
