She comes home tired and ready for a nap and is still worn out a day or two after. Our other dog had done day camp before we moved to Ashland but suddenly became a little temperamental when he went, so we stopped taking him. We talked to Lindsey and Jerry, the owners, about his previous issues and trying to get him back into the day camp groove. They were more than happy to try and ease him back in and work with him, selecting a group he would play well with, etc to give him the best chance to be successful. He was a little on edge dropping him off the first time but he wound up playing all day and getting along with all the dogs there. Since then he's had no issues and gets to go regularly. When we pull into the parking lot they know where they are and get very excited. This place is fantastic!

However, when we went to pick our dogs up yesterday we found that blue ribbon had blocked the driveway to the kennel meaning we could no longer drive up there and load the dogs in the car safely. Instead, we had to drag their cages across a parking lot that has a busy freeway just a few yards away. The Blue ribbon employee told me emphatically "I won't help you load your dogs". This despite the fact that my wife and I are both obviously handicapped and I had my arm in a sling. When we finally got the dogs loaded, they were frightened and I was shaking from the stress. This was totally mishandled on their part and the employee that did it should not have a job there. I don't trust Blue ribbon with my dogs anymore, if they employ people like this and don't discipline them then they'll also abuse my dogs. I love my dogs too much to put them in this kind of a place and I hope you do too.
