We received regular updates and felt well informed throughout their stay. The only issue at that time was that one of our dogs developed conjunctivitis, but it was minor and easily treated. Unfortunately, our most recent experience was completely different. When I was on my way to drop off our dogs, I received a call from an employee who was laughing while telling me they actually close at 5:30, not 6 as stated on their website. While I understand that arriving close to closing isn't ideal, policies like that should be clearly communicated in advance. While we were away, my phone number stopped working. A few days into the trip, I called to check on our dogs and update my contact information. During that call, the employees I spoke with were again laughing throughout the conversation. I was placed on hold for about seven minutes, only to be told "they're fine" before the call was abruptly ended after I said thank you. I had to call back just to ensure my updated phone number was on file, and I clearly explained that my original number was no longer active. At some point during our trip, there was an incident that required one of my dogs to be removed from group play. However, I was never contacted at my updated number. This is what concerns me most. I feel that my ability to make decisions for my dog's care was taken away. Had I been informed, I could have arranged for a family member to pick him up or explored other options. Instead, he was in a crate for 20 hours a day for nearly a week. I quite frankly feel ill thinking about it. My concern is mostly about the inconsistency in care and professionalism. While our first experience was great, this visit felt careless and poorly handled. Because of this, I don't feel confident bringing my dogs back in the future.

My dog and the other dog were put back together later the same day, which does not make any sense to anyone with a functioning brain. I didn't know the extent of my dogs injuries due to the attack. Adam tried to negotiate with me to pay the vet bill from his vet even before me being able to see my dog. MY DOG GOT ATTACKED DUE TO YOUR NEGLIGENCE. He offered to give me a free week if I paid $500-600 for the vet bill. Just goes to show you how absolutely money hungry he is and what he's willing to put at risk ( YOUR DOG). I took my dog to our regular vet that Thursday and he had to have 2 drains surgically put into his leg to let it drain and keep swelling down. Not once did Adam apologize for what happened. Not once did he express any compassion or sympathy. That's when I realized it's all just money for him. You and your dog are just another dollar sign to him. This is just a warning for those of you thinking of coming here. He hires people off the street who have 0 dog training or experience with handling dogs to work for him. He is an extremely rough handler, i've watched him myself. The things that are done to your dog when no one is watching makes my blood boil. Please think twice about what may happen to your pup while in their care. My dog paid the price, don't let yours also. We've had a long 3 years of recovery for my dog to be able to trust other people and dogs again. He will never be the dog that he was before because of Adam and Obedient Paws. Inspect your dog DAILY if you do go with this place. The hiring/assistant manager the time KICKED AND THREW the dogs into the kennels when he would open the door. Simply saying "it doesn't hurt them it's fine." and one dog got out and he kicked it so bad it urinated everywhere out of FEAR. Needless to say he made me clean it up after I was done crying in the bathroom. Next day i quit and told the owner at the time. I am so grateful I have someone trustworthy and fur baby approved for my girl. Amy is amazing! I adopted a 18 lb rescue Terrier Mix and was not prepared for keeping her home during the work days for two weeks while her vaccines kicked in. Amy jumped in to help. She is flexible to assist with last minute schedule changes. Being military, I appreciated Amy's military family background because she understands my unique challenges and also can get on base with no problem. She even brought a harness when my little escape artist needed it. I trust her completely and am bummed she won't be going with us when we move in January. My puppy loves her, too, and can't wait for Miss Amy to visit!
