I personally train muay thai (they have muay thai, kickboxing, and jiu jitsu) which you can start training after you've achieved your yellow shirt in kickboxing since they want you to know striking fundamentals on the heavy bag prior to doing partner work. I will say that Aikikai Tanshinjuku is absolutely NOT a "McDojo"...when you progress (and you will), you go forward knowing that you've earned it, and that your progression reflects the skilla you've learned.
