Stopped in for the first time. Great selection of sandwiches and flatbread pizza. Clean and well lighted family atmosphere. Was looking for a fish sandwich but they had a portobello pesto sandwich and a side so that's what I opted for. DELICIOUS and excellent presentation! Been going to Doko for a few years now. While I'm not the regular there like my sweetie is, I do enjoy spending time in their laid-back setting whenever I do visit. Finally writing a review because we recently went there for dinner as opposed to the usual afternoon drinks and bites. We only ate salads, her a Cobb and me a (modified) Caesar, and shared a beer, but they were both very good and actually bigger than I expected. I had never met our server before but she was very nice and accommodating to my vegetarian diet, which was naturally appreciated. In the warmer months, the outside space is nice and relaxing. The traffic can get heavy as there is an intersection of main roads right off from Doko, and the train (hence the Station name), but the latter doesn't come through very often (all of us neighbors know the usual schedule of that!) and said traffic is far enough away where its more car/people watching that full annoyance. Had a great time at Doko, the location is small but spacious with a high top bar for about 8-10 seats, and various tables plus an outdoor space. Had rotating drafts and a decent can list for beers. Members of my group tried various sandwiches with broccoli salad and pasta salad. I tried the gluten free flatbread and I was not disappointed! Crust was great and the flavors were awesome, you can tell this cook takes their job seriously! Family friendly atmosphere with a kind staff who waited on us for the evening. Went back to Doko for the second time last night. Our first visit was fabulous after ordering the flatbread, salad and Melted Brisket Sandwich. We decided to try it again. We ordered the Flatbread fig/bacon appetizer again (had to, it was so good the first time). We were not disappointed. We decided to split a Muffaletta sandwich and I wanted to try a cup of the She Crab Soup. The soup was a bit disappointing. It wasn't very hot, but just luke warm. They'd put a bit of sherry on top which is what I was expecting. The soup consistency was not real creamy and had small pieces of crab in it. Not bad, but not great. I wouldn't order it again. The Muffaletta was a big disappointment, mainly because it really wasn't a muffuletta... Instead of the green olive salad that should be on a muffuletta, they use a kalamata olive tapenade. Totally changes the taste. Don't get me wrong, the sandwich was good, especially the Ciabatta. Came toasted and warm. But my wife and I expected a true Muffaletta. The olive salad is really what makes a Muffaletta. If they want to call it a Muffaletta they should really update their olive salad. Service is still good, and friendly. This is an excellent addition to the Blythewood area! We lack a lot of decent places to eat, but this fills a couple of niches. If you're looking for some flat bread pizza or a sandwich this place is fantastic! The muffaletta is probably the best I've had in years, and all of the ingredients taste fresh on both the sandwich and on the pizzas. We had Margherita pizzas which were decent. The kids liked their kids pizzas as well. You can get chips, potato salad, pasta salad for sides but nothing beats chips. Even their chips we're good. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. My order was quick, and accurate. Unlike a lot of other places in the area, the servers go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. This place is owned by the same people who own the Old Mill Pub. I'm glad they brought this to our side of town. It's located right next to a fantastic park. read more

This was my first trip here. It is right beside the park and across from the town hall. This is a family friendly place. They have cards and board games to play. The rock 'em sock 'em robot game moved around the place a good bit. Once seated they bring you a chilled glass jug of water. It was very interesting and different. The staff works as a team, so three different people came by to check on the table and get anything needed. Not many places have a muffuletta on their menu, so I had to try theirs. It was delicious. The bread was warm and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Mmmm so good. The food was served on tin plates, which was really quite interesting and created a conversation at the table. After we ate they brought a tray full of desserts and let us picked the ones we wanted. They took them and plated them to make them beautiful. I had to take a picture of it because it was unexpected and delightful. We were never rushed out even though there were people waiting to be seated. Though we decided to take our conversation outside since there were people waiting to sit. Give Doko Station a try and be sure to ask to see the dessert tray. read more

COVID -19 Curbside Week #5 Well, after Scottie's totally bombed last weekend I decided to try the newest Blythewood restaurant in town: Doko Station. I take my dog to Doko Meadows park a lot and I was pretty excited about a new restaurant opening up. It's a really fun idea to have a restaurant inside of a park, so we decided to take out their "limited take-out menu" during the crisis. It was excellent. I ordered two pizzas which were: The Jerk Chicken Pizza and a classic Margarita. Freshness was on point. Every ingredient in both pizzas were fresh. The margarita was nice and minty and had a good dollop of cheese on it. The real star is the Jerk Chicken Pizza. In the picture I took, it doesn't really look all that banging, but it is. I'm in the group of people who believes pineapple should not be on pizza, but this totally changed my mind. The pineapple gave a perfect little sweetness and crisp to the pizza. Big props to Doko Station because it was fresh pineapple. It was not canned. Everything on the pizza tasted fresh. I"m really excited for Doko Station to really open with their full menu. The Jerk Chicken Pizza is one of the most pleasant surprises I've ever ate. I was really skeptical for it, but it was on point. They kind of changed my view on pizza. I can't wait to go back and eat some more of their full menu...just with a jerk chicken pizza on the side. read more

I'm moving to Blythewood so I can eat here all the time! Actually, I just passed through and had the best food and friendly service here. I had the Greek chicken and mushroom pizza with the cauliflower crust (Dr. orders) and no feta cheese (Dr. orders). It was fantastic, full of flavor, and with generous toppings. I can't say enough good things about it. My friends had the med. wrap and classic Cubano which they both enjoyed. If you are going for the first time and need directions DO NOT use Google Maps with the street address. It will send you to a residential area several miles away. Do use the Yelp directions or, according to our friendly server, put in the name of the Eatery in Google and it should work. The Eatery is also difficult to see in the long building just off the street. It has very small, easy-to-miss signage. I will be passing along here in the future and I will make a point of stopping here to eat well. read more

Staff is young and inexperienced, but had good food and drinks both times at restaurant. Not a large menus, but flatbread pizza was very good. What a great cafe/sandwich shop/small restaurant. The Reuben was the best I have had in SC and I have been trying them here for 40 years. The modified Blondie with blueberry sauce was excellent and my husband enjoyed his Shepard's Pie. We just happened to find this place in Blythwood, SC by chance looking at reviews for places that are practicing safety measures for Covid. Wow, we are so glad we found it. The young man that waited on us was a delight. He is a chef and helps run the place when the owner/manager is away. I would suggest they have a special guy and can trust him to do right so they can be away all they want. Not only was the food great (even the sweet tea was noteworthy) but the place was very clean. Had we wanted we could have gotten our order to go or eaten outside. My husband and I have already talked about going back soon even though it is a bit of a distance from us. It will be worth it. I will get my son a Reuben to go then because he loves them as much as I do and because of being homebound he can't go there. read more

My meal was a little disappointing, I ordered a crab cake sandwich known as The Chesapeake, which was suppose too be Maryland style crab cake if you've ever had Maryland Crab cakes they are the size of softballs....sad to say these were "NOT EVEN CLOSE" the tomato on the sandwich was thicker than the crab cake, and not really flavorful. Love this unique cafe & craft beer house!! Blythewood needs more restaurants like this, instead of nasty fast food chains. I always get the SheCrab soup & its delish! Tonight however it was less creamy, with little of shell. My Brisket sandwich was awesome!! Love that "white" BBQ sauce. I add horseradish to mine. Potato salad is great,too. Overall, a great place to eat in or take out. Sometimes abit noisy, with giggling waitresses that aren't very helpful. The Cordon & Chesapeake are also delicious! read more

My girlfriends and I tried out this place tonight and were very impressed!!! We had the pretzels as an app, delicious! Served almost to hot to touch with a super yummy mustard and beer cheese dips. I had the Greek chicken pizza, also delicious; and my table mates had the Mediterranean wrap and the muffuletta which they both loved. Our waitress was extremely wonderful! Accommodating, present and friendly. Our interactions with other staff members were also very friendly. Our food came out very quickly! We all said we can't wait to go back!
