This place STINKS. I went in for a manicure. I was out in 15 minutes. The technician (who acted like I was imposing upon her) clipped my nails filed them and rubbed some baby lotion on my hands. That was it for $25.00! I've never had a worse experience. In one word, it was INSULTING. read more

I didn't realize that Frenchie ans her sister ran a salon. It's a lovely place. And they're wonderful. I knew Frenchie from some years ago when I worked for a hot minute at the Rudder. She's always bean very nice to me, and that translated to such friendly, professional, delightful service at her salon. I am certain they treat all of their clients as warmly. I am impressed too how they've made the salon Coronageddon safe without it feeling antiseptic or impersonal. Frenchie gave me a terrific manicure and pedicure. I am definitely going to make this my spot. After the holiday weekend I am due for a fresh manicure! Today I came in to get my hair trimmed after I had been told to come check this place out. I was told to come back at a later time, so I came back an hour later with only a half an hour before closing time. The woman doing my hair put no time to waste, I was asked maybe about one personal question and maybe about three questions about my hair and how I wanted it. After she was about done I parted my hair the way it usually goes and was asked if that's my normal part.... AFTER my hair cut. She tried to fix it up but when I got home and looked in the mirror my hair was many different lengths. (Picture to follow) I am disappointed and upset with the customer service and what was done to my hair. If my appointment was made before closing time I still expect to be treated as someone who was there at noon. It was clear that she was rushing and I was a low priority as it also shows. read more

Got my wedding nails done with a group of 12 girls and Dolce Vita was absolutely fabulous! They did such a good job on our manicures and pedicures and had a huge space for us to hangout in, relax, drink champagne and order food! They are so nice and the salon is beautiful. Best Gel Manicure I have ever had. Went with a group of friends before a wedding - got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The gel manicure lasted 2 full weeks, and I even made the wedding cake and did a lot of work with my hands - no chipping, peeling or anything. read more
