I have come to this location a few different times when my location wasn't available with appointments. Yes it was typically my fault for booking late but they were able to squeeze me in. You don't realize what a relief and blessing it is to get a last-minute appointment. Their work is always consistent almost no matter which esthetician is helping me and I'm appreciative of that. I have been coming to see Brooke who is the location manager for over a year now. She is 10/10. So personable, so professional. Getting a Brazilian can be very nerve wracking and at this point it just feels like im going to go see my friend brooke at the salon rather than go do something that used to leave me feeling very restless. This is a super clean place with good staffs. I was a bit shy initially to do Brazilian but what Laci did was indeed amazing. She answered all my queries and did her job brilliantly. I'm a loyal Dollwax client. I appreciate their cleanliness of their salon. For example, using multiple swabs of wax, and not double dipping like other cheaper places. Also, love their specials for some services. That will save you $. Another reason to stay loyal, I accidently booked services for a wax and eyebrow tint at 2 different locations. They called me to combine my services at one location or keep it as is. Of course, I want it at one location to save gas. Annapolis location is my go-to because I adore Kenzie! She's so easy to talk to. She will address any special needs to make your visit more comfortable, and she clearly states what's coming next so you won't be surprised. Also, love DollWax's ringer to notify them when you're ready for your service after you undress. No need to scream out "I'm ready". Made an appointment weeks in advance for a morning before I leave on a trip. They confirmed it, confirmed the week of, but then canceled it the day before. They texted me to call so I did, several times, and no one answered and no way to leave a message. By text they offered a different time at a different location, which obviously doesn't work if I'm going out of town... with their cancellation policies for customers I would never return here. I feel so inclined to write another review about how GREAT Doll wax is but more importantly how great Keely is!!! I recently moved from Annapolis to Las Vegas and hadn't been waxed since I saw Keely. I went to a place near my house and after my wax was done, I realized that Keely was so right when she told me that its all in the technique used with the brazilian when waxing that can help make it less painful!! The new place I tried in Vegas was terrible, I left super sore and bruised! To top it off, they didn't even have the calming spray that Doll wax has by the table that you can use to spray yourself afterward, also, no chocolates by the table!! I love Doll Wax! When I get a Brazilian I always go to Julia she is so sweet and her attention to detail is amazing! They wax in very small sections with strips which I love. It takes longer but it is painless and works better for my hair which is more prone to ingrowns. They use high quality product and the experience is so welcoming and fun. I also get the post wax vajacial and it has helped my skin a lot too! read more

Nikki was absolutely amazing! She took her time and really talked me through everything and this was an amazing first time. She was kind and very informative and she even provided amazing after care information and I NEVER felt like she was trying to sell me anything and she really listened to my requests. She is funny and very personable and I am returning after my 5 week time. I have written a review for Doll Wax before. I just left from getting my underarms and Brazilian done and wanted to tell you guys about my New BFF Julia. It was love at first wax strip pull. She was just great. She never made me feel awkward (well no one at Doll Wax has). She made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I also appreciated that she was a great conversationalist. It was my first time getting my underarms done and we had a great laugh about my nervousness. She was very honest regarding the sensitivity of that area, but it ended up not evening hurting. I just moved to MD and was in search of a great wax place that offered soft wax. I was nervous about finding an esthetician in another state, however the reviews alone sold me and this place was the best around especially price wise. Loved all the specials , social media account information, how convenient and easy the booking process was and loved how there was a picture of each esthetician next to their name and location. I had the privilege of having Ms. Julia at the Annapolis location and she was welcoming, friendly, and fast! This location was set up really cute and clean. There's now a third location and it is awesome! Peach walls and the signature black and white decor welcome you as you walk in the door. It gives it a soft, feminine atomsphere that is very comfprting somehow. I had a late-afternoon appointment with Tammy. Got an express Brazilian, but it was so gentle you'd think it was a traditional Brazilian. To anyone who has been to other locations or read the reviews for Gambrills or Crofton, Tammy is well-known. If you aren't aware, shes the super cute and funny owner of the Doll Wax chain. I would strongly suggest coming here for all waxing needs. There really is something different about Doll Wax that makes it stand apart from the other skin care facilities. As a customer, you don't feel like just a way for the employees to get a check. You really feel tended to with quality and care. Since moving to Baltimore county, I've tried tons of other waxing businesses and nobody - I repeat - NO BODY offers free calming spray for your freshly waxed skin or yummy chocolate candies placed specifically in reach to soothe any anxious nerves you may have. I've been to multiple locations (Gambrills and Annapolis) and the staff at both have been amazing. They do great loyalty programs and promotion (summer Brazilians for a discount, military discount, and cheaper waxes for returning within 5 weeks). All 3 employees I've encountered have been extremely knowledgable, personable and friendly. Always available parking and I've been able to schedule as late as a few hours out. Lots of flexibility with their appointments. Cute decor as well, and chocolate for alleviating some of the pain. This is by far the BEST wax salon. I've been to three different wax salons, including European Wax Center, and Doll Wax blows them out of the water. As soon as you walk in, you can tell this place is different (in the best way). Hands down, my favorite location! Guess who makes that location? Bree! Or Brehanna (sorry not sure of the exact spelling). Bree is seriously the nicest person ever! I felt so comfortable around her. I can't say enough wonderful things but she made me feel so welcomed! At the end of the appointment, she stated if there were any missed hairs, to just ring the bell.
