I had a medical emergency at the time we had scheduled the return and when I attempted to return it later that day, she was unavailable. I brought it back this morning and when I asked her why she was charging me an additional fee, she told me to get the "F" out and that she did not like me from the beginning. Cate is amazing! I followed her from her old employer and will probably never go to anyone else. I go to her for my Brazilian waxes. She has great customer service, she makes sure that it is never awkward, and her place is very clean and neat. Although she has moved a couple of times, her place has always been in Annapolis, which is a very easy commute. I went to Cate because I had gone to a couple of places since I moved to the Annapolis area for waxing and was not fully satisfied with the results. I can honestly say that with Cate, my eyebrows look the best they ever have! I was so surprised when I looked in the mirror to see absolute symmetry within my eyebrows. Cate was careful to clean my skin before waxing and was very thorough with getting every little hair that was out of place. Booked the day before, I sent a request via yelp and received a quick reply. Communication was great. The studio was easy to get to with ample parking. The place was very clean and welcoming. I have been looking for a skin care professional in Annapolis ever since Elaine Brennan retired. I looked at the reviews on yelp and I liked what I read about Cate. So I scheduled an appointment with her very easily on line and at the same time filled out some information about my skin type, etc. What I especially like is that Cate is a solo practitioner, having worked at Lotus for several years. This is her business. She is a professional. Her training and background is excellent. A plus for me is that she schedules appointments on weekends and some evenings. Cate is located in the general Best Buy shopping area, on the second floor of the Petco (or is it Petsmart) Building, next to Jenny Craig and inside the Symmetry spa. Parking is super easy and if you don't /can't walk to the second floor , there is an elevator on the side. The entire Symmetry space is totally renovated, very new, with hairstylists, etc. Cate's space is relaxing and yet very modern with the latest in equipment. No busy salon noise interferes. Cate herself is professional in demeanor, very gently asking questions about my skin care and making suggestions. She never pushed a product. I use Murad, she sells Dermatologica but she never did a hard sell for the Dermatologica products. The facial I received from Cate was excellent, and I believe made a very big difference in the hysration and appearance of my skin. I scheduled another appointment right away. read more
