It takes lots of time and energy to find things as a consequence. Make the place smaller, rent out the unused space and you'll have a much nicer customer experience. I…read moreremember my dad filling up at 75 a lot when my brother and I were kids, so it's nice to see something familiar in my area of the valley. This station is easy to get in and out of, especially first thing in the morning on the way to work. The driveway area looked clean and ready for customers, not full of wind-blown trash like I have seen at other gas stations in town. That to me says the employees take pride in running a clean place.

When I was younger I used to be an ice cream server at a drugstore for fresh scoop Thrifty in California. I have pretty much tried all their flavors and they are all good. Thrifty ice cream is one of the better overall brands in my opinion back then, not sure if they changed anything since 1986 or not. They carry all kinds of other assorted items most gas stations don't. Hookah items, vape, roll your own tobacco products, knives, jewelry, etc. Everything was pretty clean inside the store. Went to Bashas to buy limes and that section was empty (which happens way too often at Bashas). So, 5 minutes later I'm at Frys on the Trail and they had tons of limes and they were on sale. Plus there were definitely staff personnel everywhere. I had to ask one on them where to find more Frys shopper ID. BOOM! NO MO Bashas from now on.

The self checkout he said yes go to customer service. I got to customers service and they told me no. I asked them to price I was already in store. They told me I had to go online and do it and purchase it online. The only reason I asked them to do it was because I was already at the store. That way I didn't have to go back as I'm writing this review at home. I get a text saying the order is ready to be picked up. I literally could've had them price override it so I wouldn't have to come back but yet they said they couldn't but their policy online says they can.

Most of the locations are more "neighborhood" stores vs the Megastores. Stores are intuitively organized, nice bakery, Deli, Butcher and produce. This location has a Starbucks adjacent to lunch counter and frequently enjoy a donut and Joe before my shopping begins. The Deli carries Boars-head brand meats which I prefer. I also enjoy how quickly I can get in and out of the store vs being lit most in the Megastore and their long lines. My criteria: Parking is easy! Shopping is easy! Check out is easy!

Every other store including Walmart, there is at least 1 machine that takes cash. This is extremely inconvenient for some of us. There is also always an issue with the Bashas' shopper account. Back when you first got a Bashas' account and card, there was no app. Now that there's digital coupons like every other store, you have to use the app, which somehow created a second account when you downloaded the app. So now upon entering your phone number, you have to have an employee select the correct account on the screen. I've heard employees of this store complain and make jokes about California, but this store is turning into the neighboring state they love to hate. Service is getting poor, self checkouts are card only, and problems with the customer account......all you need now is no bags and you're there......trust me, a California resident.

You put a quarter in to unlock the cart, use it for your shopping, & when finished, you put your cart back, lock it, & you get your quarter back. Keeps the number of stolen carts down. Also, you bag your own groceries. That helps keep the costs down as well. I bought 3 reusable Aldi bags for future trips. I was impressed with the store itself. Nice wide aisles to go through while shopping. Cashier service is awesome and the cashiers are very helpful and friendly. The ambiance is busy yet quiet. Perfect when you don't want craziness while shopping I saved close to $50 on my groceries! What I bought today was $88 and would have cost me close to $130 at Walmart, where I usually shop! Aldi will be my go to from here on out except for certain items I can only get at Walmart.

Frankly this means there is no one checking their inventory. Normal grocers have computer generated lists telling their stock clerks what to pull it place on sale before expiration. Upon checking out I took note once again of everyone working. Honestly their faces tell the story. They all look miserable and unhappy. Sad what this store has become. I remember a time where smiling faces. They even had a child play area check in which children loved. I'm not quite sure if this location is the norm for their stores. If it is I highly suggest you look into revamping the location immediately.
